I was upgrade my Jasjar by mistake with jam rom, after upgrading my Jasjar didn't work and the screen didn't show any thing (black screen). Please I need help, if any one can solve this problem give me the solution.

Take it easy.
Trye to see if the device can go to "bootloader" press "camera"+"on/off"+sof reset.
IF you can go to "boot loader", see the wiki in this forum.
Me too have the same problem, but i was enable to fix-it.
Remove the batery form device, until you find the solution, I think tat you can not charge the batery.
(sorry, by not making links, but I am Flashing my Universal)

I tried many times to go to boot loader but I can't, any how I am waiting for the solution.
try this . brightness button + power button + soft reset buton (using ur styles ofcourse) lol . then u enter bootloader the hard way i guess. from there connect the usb althou ur active sync may or may not detect the connection . but on ur fone the serial link wud change to USB . then try flashing a shipped rom 1st then . after that do CID unlock (that if u haven done it yet with ur fone). then flash any rom of ur choice

i have the same problem and i treid this way it does not go some one told me that to charge the battary by another jasjar but right now i am not able to find one els to charge the battry..
also i did chat with imate support and they advice me to send it to the service center and i don't know what to do.
even wiki does not have a soultion for that.
I think the bootloader is broken and need to be reinstall but how????

well when u connect ur fone in bootloader mode to the pc do u c the "serial" on the top change to "usb" ?? if so go here ::

get the mtty utility and do as instructed
ps:: dumb azz customer care knows jus two things if u ask them anything about a screwed jasjar. :: install new shipped rom or get to service centre lol. not any other excusehas added to that list as of yet

try stable roms and not beta version to test ur fone efficiency for instance for start install jus shippd rom as they are the most stable with almost no bugs ! so always wen u have a broken jasjar n need to b reconstructed innercorely lol use shipped rom. thats wat i do ales lol
I tried these both links before the problem there is no serial or USB on the screen it's completly black no even when you connect it to usb gives u message on computer unrecoginze device then how to upgrade or reinstall bootloader??
with MTTy says usb device not found frist i have to run bootloader again on my jasjar frist to do what writen in wiki
does ur fone charge up by the wall charger n the charging led turns red? ? mayb ur fone not properly charged or so to even enter bootloader ??
I tried all mouthed but I can't fix it, last tried I toke it to the technician and he said the board was damaged.

Sorry for that but first try to charge you battary by another jasjar it might work
okay man .. if u didnt already solve ur prob
i had that prob b4 & here's the steps i took ( i thought i damaged my chip 2 )
1. disable usb connections in active sync 4 now (or remove it from ur pc)
2. get into boot loader by pressing backlight botton+power botton .. dont press soft reset
3. connect ur USB
4. open the MTTY utility .. download it from the wiki if u dont have it
5. press on USB botton on the right of the MTTY window
6. on the window that appears press (enter) ... a wiered word will appear .. press enter again
7. write task 28 55aa (just write it dont copy or it wont work) and press Enter
8 . write task 28 55aa again and press enter
now u can close the MTTY and setup a new rom on ur device .. just choose a proper 1 from this forums
these instructions worked 4 me & i hope u find it useful if u didnt already solved ur problem

I completely have the same problem with my jasjar and non of these steps worked with me cuz it wont get in a bootloader
(It wont startup at all)

hi guyz,
i'm super depressed now, need help from you all. i've got an xda neo G4 today n wanted to upgrade to an english version. so half way it came out funny funny languages on it n i restarted it. it loaded until the second splash screen n juz hanged that.. tried the hard reset but it was still the same...
i saw at the forums saying that it can be rescued as long as i can access the bootloader mode.. but then my sinc device cant detect my phone tru the usb port when i'm in that mode.... n the upgrade couldnt be carried out coz it cant be detected...
the "mobile device" does appear in "my computer" but it is empty inside... n seems like i couldnt do anything about it..
could i change a new phone at the shop if its still under warranty??
or is there any other ways to rescue it? very depressing, because it suppose to be a present for my girlfriend.. argh~

it doesn't matter if active sync does not recognize it. just run an official upgrade

Check out RaptorRVL's instructions. His explanation was completely correct.
But just to give u a heads up, the "ROMUpdateUtility_NoID.exe" can be quite confusing.
So what i did was rename "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" (from ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.zip) to "ROMUpdateUtility_NoID.exe" and pasted it to the WWE folder with everything else.

which means that there are 2 .exe files?
1) first is called "Romupdateutility"(in bold letters)with another line following under without bold letters n then HTC
Example on the screen:
(icon)ROMUpdateUtility

(icon) HTC
2)the second one is called "Romupdateutility_NoID" in bold(which i suppose to change the name to _NoID)... the next line is still the same RomUpdateutility without bold letters n followed by HTC

(icon) HTC

i have tired v3 wm6 update and..after the update my screen is stuck...at o2 sign..with bubbles,, the four red words appear on the screen but doesn't change anything...
i'd like to reflash back but it doesn't seem like connecting to PC via USB..
what do i do...?
and i found..
it just stopps in the boot loader mode and turns to black screeen .. and that's it...
I cna't even connect to USB so which means i can't flash back to normal..

Try to Enter Bootloader:
Hold down the camera button and reset the device. (Boot Loader Mode is: Press Camara + Soft Reset, then release soft reset and keep pressing camara button till appear the Boot Loader.)
However, you have to write in the right post, i guess you mean the Ohlala_WWE_WM6_v3 ROM. If you had read the entire post youl'd know that this one is bad. V4 should solve the problem.

I ran the file called "upgrade_rom" for smart1 wm6 but it keeps telling me that "no device found.." so..
what should i do...

You cannot use "upgrade_rom.bat" to flash ur device with RGB screen. The bat file is for upgrade, not for fresh install. It means that you have to install AKU2.xx NVID.exe (executable) first. The .exe file can recognize ur device via RGB screen.
After reset ur device with AKU2.x and successfully connect to the PC vis Activesync, you then can run upgrade_rom.bat.
And... don't be too panic. You have to read more.

you could try this. Someone else posted it here, and when my phone stopped connecting after some update it fixed activesync. It's a switch.

Had O2 ever released HTC Prophet?
Sorry but I'm not O2 fan.
I have only Prophet so I know only Prophet.
You could go to the right thread for ur device O2 and look for the right .exe file.
PS: is it XDA Neo? If it is Prophet it should be OK.
Try holding Camera+Comm buttons during pressing reset button ur device will ask u to Format something. Press send button (green phone button) and try again.

I stated to update ROM but unfortunately unplugged the cable with mistake.
Now my JAM is showing only black Screen with Text USB V1.02 . What i should do now, After rebooting many time, nothing happend, same screen.

You need to flash it again:
- fully charge your magician ( remove battery cover and plug in the charger )
- after you start your magician in bootloader ( You press power button + camera, and hit reset with stylus )
- download the rom u want ( magician wiki has loads of them and dont forget to disable USB Connections on Active Sync )
- and use matupgradenoid if you have country id error.

I had a similar problem. I tried to flash the ext ROM with NZ Vodaphone and it didn't finish. The Phone would boot then hard reset. I tried to reflash with the ROM file from PC but it keep failing. Luckily I have a spare Jam. I dump the ROM of the old phone and reflashed it to the broken one. To dump the ROM of a good Imate Jam goto http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=230151
Once you have done this, Reboot your phone into the ROM flash menu with the SDCARD that you used from the good phone into yours.
I think from there it sees the ROM files and gives you options to reflash.

my prophet was working normaly and while i was installing a program it stoped. i formated it and reinstalled the windows but what happened is:
1-it doesnt recognize the memory card anymore
I thought it is rom problem , i tried to install anothere rom but THERE IS NO 3 colour screen but the prophet is working

Listen up
First off all charge the battery for 2 hours before doing this.
After turn on the device and press for 5 seconds the com button on the left side of the device.
You will enter the 3 colours loader.
Connect the device to the PC.
Step 2 Install the original Rom
Step 3 Do a Rom update use step 2 of pdamobiz Rom, select update rom file and wait.
Step 4 Do a hardspl G3 or G4 see your device to see witch one is it.
Step 5 install a new Rom with the RUU update utility G3 or G4.
Then you just have to wait the device to reboot and you can use it.
Note: Use the 2.19 radio Rom its the most stable, you can install it after installing the final Rom ok.

i am sorry but i thought the three colour screen meens bootloader my problem now that i cant change this rom as it dont recognize the memory and also there is prblems with bluetooth.

Listen up that procedure i explained would put the PDA working 100%, if you have the problems you say you do, its because you installed a rom inappropriate for you device. The memory and bluetooth problems come from bad radio rom and from roms that are not suitable for the device, you mad bad installations, that is the real origin for your problems, if you want to stay with your device with problems fine, in my opinion the best is to put the original rom in and after that, do the rest of procedure if you don´t want to this its up to its your device not mine.

Listen did you charge the device for 4 hours first on the electricity - step 1
Do a hard reset with the stylus on the device - step 2
press the left com button for 5 seconds on the device, before anything appears on screen - step3
If everything goes well the 3 colour screen will appear.

but you still can flash from bootloader (many times i have flashed using the bootloader.....)
and yes, the PC dont recognize your WIZARD on bootloader mode, but still you do not need to be "syncro" to flasha rom on the WIZARD.
I strongly suggest you to read some info to know "how to" flash a semi bricked device

because of till now there is no solution i get, wenever i cnnect via usb everything is right but cnt do flash ipl spl both are 2.26 and usb shows bottom but shows updating error not connect to pda
