I've done a square screen dialpad taken from WM6 rom, requested by a HP iPAQ 6945/6955 WM5 user. Can Treo users please test if this is compatible with your device?

if you go through from the front page, it doesn't ask to register. i've updated the link above. no registration necessary for any of the skins

The call log graphics have changed but not the dialpad itself. I have a Treo 750 from Cingular

Treo750 has special resources of dial pad.
That's why this does not work on Treo.

Looks like Treo 750 uses landscape images and not portrait that's why it isn't skinned. The CrossbowPhonepad has all included.

Thanks for the dialpad Swampy. I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes.

Nice work Swampy! I just installed it and like the look of the dialpad and buttons but don't like the look of the Call Log-- the plain white background and the choice of icon for missed/recieved calls kinda turn me off. I'll use it for a little bit to see if it grows on me.
BTW, I'm using it on an HP iPaq 6945.

Before everything, sorry for my english, I am french (And young xD), I like so much everything you do with your roms but....
I like so much the lite roms but there is always some things that are very low in the lite roms, like the dialer or the commanager :

This dialer for exemple is so low, horrible, why there is'nt any rom with a dialer and a comManager like this in the new lite roms? (So fast)
(The commManager is from shadow 1.0 for prophet and the dialer is from crystal v5 for prophet too)

Try Q-Mobile 1.11. I have been using it for a few days after using V 1.0 for about a week and Love it. It is the fastest ROM I have ever used.

Using nice dialer and commManager?

I fail to see what effect the dialler skin has on speed? If your dialler is laggy, try turning off the button sounds - I find that speeds things up.
As for roms: Alex's UltraClean might float your boat, along with the previously mentioned Q-Mobile.

"Nice" is just different for anyone!
I really like the new Kaiser 3G dialer, better than the original WM6 dialer.

looks quite good but there are much possibilities to let your phone looks like that

nothing new for me that is the genuine manila stuff. the htc home plugin though is from the 7510 rom. the comm mananger also, audio manager also, and u see opera 9.5 405 the white/gray dialer is the manila dialer. the other one is just a athena gray dialer.

WM 6.5.3

Anyone know if the Maple/Snap will be able to be updated to WM 6.5.3 ROM ? I heard some phones are getting that release. Also have realised something about the official 6.5 ROM for the Maple : it's WM 6.5 standard and not professional. At first I thought the difference was only in touchscreens / non-touchscreens, but there are some other differences for exemple the Office Mobile delivered with 6.5 standard is version 6.1 and does not support copy/paste, what a shame.

find ookba 3evolution beta cooked rom..thats 28xxx win 6.5.3 rom, see my signature..to download it
you can use doctogo app as a alternative for
ms office mobile.

where did you get that info?
evo cooked rom support french keyboard layout for sure,
after flashing with that rom, choose keymap config, and choose 4 for french keyboard, restart your phone..and voilaa..you get your french key back

Thanks, but it's the whole ROM that I want in french, not just the keyboard. Is there a way to get ookba's ROM translated to french ? If he could send me a language file, I'd be glad to translate it to french.

Thank you for that cab. It turns out that it is the HTC Connection Setup PPC v3.1.2016.2829 which I was looking for to install on my HTC Tilt 2. Maybe it should mentioned in your post? Was it ripped from a LEO shipped ROM?
