I've done a square screen dialpad taken from WM6 rom, requested by a HP iPAQ 6945/6955 WM5 user. Can Treo users please test if this is compatible with your device?

says access denied only members can have permission. do we really have to sign up just to see this?

if you go through from the front page, it doesn't ask to register. i've updated the link above. no registration necessary for any of the skins

The call log graphics have changed but not the dialpad itself. I have a Treo 750 from Cingular

Treo750 has special resources of dial pad.
That's why this does not work on Treo.
See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295352

Thanks for the feedback
Looks like Treo 750 uses landscape images and not portrait that's why it isn't skinned. The CrossbowPhonepad has all included.

Hi, don't have a skin exatly like this one for QVGA devices? I realy like this!
Thanks

Thanks for the dialpad Swampy. I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes.

Nice work Swampy! I just installed it and like the look of the dialpad and buttons but don't like the look of the Call Log-- the plain white background and the choice of icon for missed/recieved calls kinda turn me off. I'll use it for a little bit to see if it grows on me.
BTW, I'm using it on an HP iPaq 6945.

New Manila Screenshots

HTC’s “Manilla” is basically a customized interface that’s on top of the standard Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS. BoyGeniusReport.com reports that “Manilla” is not technically TouchFLO 2.0, TouchFLO 2.0 just has a few updates to the scrolling part of it and the cube, nothing more than that.

looks quite good but there are much possibilities to let your phone looks like that
nothing new for me that is the genuine manila stuff. the htc home plugin though is from the 7510 rom. the comm mananger also, audio manager also, and u see opera 9.5 405 the white/gray dialer is the manila dialer. the other one is just a athena gray dialer.
What app do i need to show running apps in the taskbar like some of the pictures show?

Rory
Nice, but not really perfect UI.... at this time WM7 looks perfect ^^
its great
can i have a cab file for a new htc home plugin!!!
nice screens....
any way... still dealing with 6.1 and do not think will come for all HTC phones...
no those are there with my permission. boygenius is bud of mine.

What application/plugin/whatever is this?

I remember seeing tons of screenshots for this and figuring/hoping whenever I upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1, it would be there. Well, it's not, or at least not in Verizon's installation. What is this application or plugin and where can I get it? It is something I can install just like I've done with the HTC home plugin or is it something that has to be in the rom? Thanks, and sorry if I'm asking a question that's been asked a billion times before. I have no idea what to call this .

The screen shots are both from a WM6.1 Standard device. Do you have a Standard (ie no touch screen) or a Professional (with a touch screen)?
Professional (with touchscreen). So you're saying that layout is only intended for non touchscreen models? That sucks. I think that's a much cleaner layout than the out-the-box layout professional offers. Any ideas or am I just out of luck? Thanks.

You could browse through the countless number of themes and launchers available.
Guess it's time to find a new HTC touch home launcher. Thanks.
If I were you I would invest in Wisbar Advance Desktop. You could easily achieve this with it.
Never heard of it before. Looks pretty sharp, thanks for the heads up!
There is also a throttle launcher skin which looks similar to this. I think it is the windows mobile 7 skin. If you do a search it should come up pretty quickly.

battery icon on top right

does anyone know how to keep the battery icon on titlebar displayed at all times?
mine only displays on the today screen. but when i run a program, it disappears.
anyone the reg tweak for this? im using WM6.1 02 by cotulla on magician
also if anybody knows how to replace the default battery icons?thanks
You can use a software named QuickMenu.
http://www.alensw.com/attachment/QuickMenu_2.8.zip
It's a Chinese favorite software with 0409 mui support.

great app!but i was hoping of just a reg tweak as i already have wisbarlite, with similar functions but i think uses smaller memory. im only using a 64mb magician so space is quite an issue for me. thanks a bunch though
There is no registry-tweak for BatteryStatus on every titlebar I think...
oh i see. i guess il give the quick menu a shot. theres one problem though. i think it conflicts with my pointui home2 app. whenever quick menu is running, the home button shows i have notifications even if i dont, and the home button cant be cliked. but when i close quickmenu. everything is fine. dunno how its causing it. hey, thanks for your time.
I think I found something interesting with small size...
Shows battery status on every titlebar...
wow thanks again.

Skinnable scrollbars in WM5 or WM6

As many of you must be aware of, one of the WM6.5 additions were the skinnable scrollbars.
Is it possible to apply the same concept in WM5 or WM6?
I did search everywhere in the forum and google for this but I haven't found anything but resizing instructions.
There are no scrolbars in WINMO 5 or 6 but some programs have a today plugin also you can have second today screen
?

Like those in WM6.5???
Nobody knows or is it impossible?
Also would be really nice that scrollbars can be moved to left side!!
That for left handed users like me would be a dream!!
Try to manage your device with your left hand and you´ll understand

Hello. I don't like the default keyboard neither, so I installed an older one, for diamond 1, but wich works quite well with diamond2. See it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=506846 (make sure you downloa the wvga version). After install from the menu pop-up when keyboard is active choose compact qwerty. For xt9 in sweden I don't know what to say.
A full screen keyboard comes from SPB, here:
http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/pocketpc-software/keyboard/
This one is another fullscreen keyboard:
http://www.previsionary.com/prod_0010.htm
This one is also a big one:
http://www.teksoftco.com/index.php?section=fingertouch
What i can suggest is to test all of them only if you are willing to do a hard-reset, because keyboards really mess with your windows stability.
yeah but i would like the original but mutch larger xD
you have a Keyboard here that i used and u have big keys or small keys.
program Here:
http://www.pocketcm.com/keyboard.php
and you can find the skins here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=68078
or u can use the fingerkeyboard 2.1:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501122
Wich is the one I'm using at the moment, many languages suported, cut & past function, smilies and links (configurable) suberb
