Qtek s200 update problems----important experience

HI all
i have a qtek_S200(HTC Prophet) which is :
IPL 2.09.0001
SPL 2.15.0001
OS 2.15.13.24
GSM 02.17.21
now,i have experienced a big problem like this:
i wanted to change the ROM of my phone to English..then i download a shiped Rom to flash it...
the shiped Rom i used was RUU_Prophet_1001321_100013102_11320_DopodAsia_shiped.exe....
But everytime i tried to Flash, the program said "ERROR(300):invalid update tool..this update utility cannot be used for your PDA phone.please get newer update utillity" when the phone proceeded to a reseting and turned to three colour mode....
So, that is way? someone plz help me..

2nd problem
the qtek S200 is CHT now, coz it ought to be ENG originallly, so it must be CID unlocked sometime ago...
unfortunlly, when i try to backup its Rom to SD card using MTTY by the code" r2sd all", like backing up a wizard' rom....but it said "you don't get the proper security level to download a specific image"..
Then i use the MachinaGod' lokiwizi and RapiUnlocker trying to unlock the CID, but it displays error and seems fail ..
so, guys plz help me ..

i tried to dump it's Rom using a MTTY, the code i input was " r2sd all", but it said that

You didn't get the proper security level to download a specific image
So it is fail......
i want to backup it's Rom, then flash it onto other Prophet ...
Anyone pLz teach me how to do...

My JAMIN not Working??

I Do Upgrade for my JAMIN with PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 & it was Succeed With out any trouble
Than I Try to upgrade to 2006-11-12_Prophet_WM5AKU2.3_lvsw_edition but my Phone Stack So I reset as say after 30 m (about 48m)
The Baggiest Problem for me after reset my Jamin Stack in Booting (Just show Rom Version & Other) after that noting Happen..
I tray to format But also same. I tray to boot from USB & Install Original ROM I get This Error
ERROR [296] UPGRADE ONLY
This NBF file connects used for your PDA Phone. Please get newer NBF file.
Is there any way to erase ROM and Re Upgrade with Old ROM
I Tray to Upgrade with Latest Update PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3231
But fail because this Upgrade required synchronization with Pc ..
Until now I lost Every Thing My Phone is Similar to Dead

Second you should read before flashing your device... ...you havn't provide us with enough info, is your device CID unlocked? What SPL version do you have, do you have an G3 of G4 device?
Did you try to turn on your device and on the 3 color screen execute the PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 again?

I did it & connect to usb but when i execute the PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3220 it's show me No Device Connect

You had to CID unlock your phone first!
The only thing you can do I guess is install the NoVendorID Asia version for the Dopod.
You can't install the PDAMobiz ROM because there has to be an AS connection.
Try looking for: RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID.zip on the XDA ftp.

You should try to flash your device with the ROM mentioned before.
After that you can try to CID Unlock your phone:

MY STORY
I try to flash my device with ROM RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_S hip-NoVendorID.zip and I was very happy because it’s start to flash ROM but after rich 95% it’s stop and show me Error INVALED COMMAND ... I tray many times but all same
Even my device now when ever I turn ON it’s go to boot loader mode

Just today I notice I write it wrong 1.2

I have dumped it from the device, and have Part0-3.raw files, but don't know if it's possible to reconstruct and flash without the original OS.NB file.
Any help? Can i reconstruct using Spanish dumped ROM using WWE nb-imgfs files?

Well, if you don't want to loose your TyTN II, you only need to power on, and start to using. Sure works for the most of you use it.
This forum is only to learn and have fun with the kaiser. So if your Kaiser works, don't touch...only read the user guide and that's all.
Read a lot is the only way to learn how to keep your device working

If you want to get some help, you need to give more details about your problem (if exsit...).
What have you done before the error happen? What is the error? What happen when you power on the device? What ROM version? What is the start secuence?
Without this info anyone can help you, believe me, peopple here are not magicians

-I launched kaiser ssplv1 on my kaiser
-then i executed RUU.Kaiser.HTC.WWE.1.56.405.5.radio.sign.22.45.88.07.1.27.12.11.Ship
-At 16% of flashing, processes stop and i follow RUU.Kaiser.HTC.WWE.1.56.405.5.radio.sign.22.45.88.07.1.27.12.11.Ship instruction for continue the processes, but now at 1% process stop cause invalid vendor id.
-Now when I started I see the 3 color band (red,green,blue) and these words:
kais130
spl-1.56.0000
cpld-8
--in top right there is written RUUNBH
This is all..do you need anymore information?

Seems you have a briked kaiser... take a look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334693 to see if helps you getting info about your kaiser CID version...
I suppose you have an Spanish Kaiser, right?
So seems the only way to recover is flashing spanish Kaiser ROM (that we haven't).
The other way is sending to repair...

Yes, i have the same ROM, but the ROM is on my device, i have't the RRU file to upgrade your device...
I extracted the ROM, but for now don't know how to reconstruct it.
So you must wait or send to repair...

I was blocked to boot menu (no system bootstrap..)..so i launch mtty program and digit:
boot nbh ... et voilà my kaiser restart!!!!!!!!
After I reflashed rom with hardspl in correct way...

Good news, mate.... congratulations....

Please help me!!! Kaiser TyTN II brick

My kaiser everytime goes into tri-color screen when powered on. (I know maybe something wrong when I flashing the ROM last time)
I almost tried to all the ROM including WWE rom, but all failed. who can help me?

what should I do next? Your help will be much appreciated.
btw, the original os is Chinese Taiwan version (chinese traditional lanugage)

should you have installed HardSPL, what rom did you install next and the next after? that one of your ROM may be the culprit, especially some shipped roms

The last rom I flashed is cht rom which downloaded from www.pdafans.com, it was a only os rom, and it's ok to work, but when I was flashing radio, failed on 95%, then gone to tri screen.

HTC does not release chines language ship rom, I can't find it.
I have tried re-flash with all the ways/rom as I can, it didn't work.
And how can I re-install HardSPL? without activesync, I can not do that. do you have other ways to install HardSPL on tri screen?

I had the same problem with my htc wizard a few weeks ago. I did it under Vista and the software i used wasn't vista compatible... If you use vista, try it again under windows xp. Maybe it helps!

Seems your CID is DOPOD001, so try to search for Dopod shipped ROM and flash it...

I just got Kaiser and HardSPL-ed and Supercid-ed it.
All the results were exactly as described with no errors.
Now the situation is:
Bootloader screen:
KAIS130 MFG
SPL-1.0.OliPof
CPLD-8
In mtty it shows the following:
Cmd>task 32
Cmd>info 2
HTCS00000000jR*¥HTCE
Cmd>task 32
Cmd>getdevinfo
GetDevInfo: Get backup CID
HTCSKAIS1300HTCE
It's strange that there is no response on task 32 - what does it mean?
What does "Get backup CID" means?

HELP!!! i was stupid and flashed my 02 xda iq with out superCID

I must be the worlds biggest idiot as i have recently just flashed my fav phone my 02 Xda Iq WITHOUT doing superCID on it and now i am stuck in the bootloader screen
ive flashed phones b4 its just on this particular occasion i was being stupid
i have tried other roms for it but they all reply with "invalid vendor ID"
and i cannot find the original rom that came with it
PLEASE HELP ME
how to i load a rom onto it when i havnt run SuperCID on it?

look for your OEM rom and reflash with it, then supercid and after that flash your phone with any wm6 tornado rom

i have downloaded MTTY and TyphoonNbfTool and editied the .nbf to my CID but now i either get a "Connection Error: 264" or a "Read error: 238"
what do i do?

i found my cid by using "info 2" in MTTY
used TyphoonNBF Tool to edit a ROM i download from the Imate site but thier was a link to a ROM in the guide you left me that didnt work :S will it make a diffrence if i do all this on a diffrent rom like i have been trying to do?

I've gone and done the same thing, but the problem is when I follow your instructions the .nbf file that is produced after the header has been changed is only 512 bytes! So the updater con't read it, what can I do?

When I change the CID header using typhoonnbftools, the resulting file is only ever 1kb or smaller. What am I doing wrong?
