I need to cid unlock my prophet(s200,jamin)
I tryed with the software in wiki-developers
but it makes problem does anybody help me by cid unlocking for chipshet for 0001

I read the entire post. It is NOT a CID unlock, basically the guy just ran aWizard and ignored the error of CID unlock error. The screen says CID unlock success, but it doesnt really unlock CID. rest explains what roms he used to update his O2 xda. Mostly are in Simplified Chinese ROM. Nothing special or new in that post. Search is still on.

If you want to install a new ROM then there is no need to unlock CID. This procedure explains a method for updating all components except IPL/SPL on a Wizard. The same procedure and the same tools in the document can be used on a Prophet.
Pay attention to the warnings on the first page though. The procedure is not trivial so make sure you know what you are doing before you actually do it!

Yep! Works well, as long as you try AKU2.x or better for the OS module. It didn't work with i-mate's old 1.2 ROM for JAMin but that just confirms what the article says. Everything else I've tried so far worked.

I have used the procedure tonight and all worked perfectly!
Enough simple and with no unpgrading problems!
Now I have Italian rom on my device!

Do the settings remain the same as k-jam (ex. OS start address 80040000, HTC logo ?

Yes that rom and the configuration is the SAME of K-Jam (i had a 02 Mini S before thiefed :-(( )

Probably I made something wrong, my device is DEAD!!! I have been severals hours to fix it but no way.
Now I can see the device in boot loader mode (3 colors)

How can I recover the installation?

You have missmatch in IPL and SPL version.
Your IPL is corresponding to DOC G3, but SPL DOC G4.
This should not be the case. What was your original DOC?
Do you have USB connection when in rainbow screen?

No, I don't have a USB connection. Tonight I was thinking and I going to try to put the ROM stop at bootloader. Let me try it now. As soon as I have some news I'll post it. Thanks!

I just finish to download the Dopod 818 Pro Rom stop at bootloader fix but now the problem is getting biger, I mean, the battery is empty, so I can not charge the device with the USB or AC cable. I have to find a battery to try with this Rom. Or go to the technical support and try to fix it.
The screen is on and of by it self efvery couple minutes (just for a while)

Finally I got a charged battery from my brothyer and I started to download the mentioned rom, but at 80% stop, I get an error message.
ERROR 326 Invalid Command. This NBF file cannot be used for your PDA Phoen. Please check your NBF.
How could I do? Suggestions???

I made a call phone to the service mantenience and I have a date to try to fix it. I'm affraid they are going to tell me something I don't like to heard, but...

you can use the updater from bootloader, I did without activesync

My Bootloader is Corrupt.
Actually My PPC has a G3 DOC and SPL is of Now G4 DOC.
It is connecting in bootloader mode but not allowing any upgrade.
The only option is "r2sd backup of SPL"
Can u help me?

Please remember that the prophet ROM is NOT compatible with the charmer !

Could you be so kind to create an SD image of the prophet too (including ipl&spl) so I can restore one of my broken Prophet and upload it here so other people who have this problem can be helped ?

My prophet is G4, so it can only cause more damage to your phone. but i will look for someone with a G3 prophet, to backup his rom with SD. if i will find, i will let you know.

today I got a 256MB MMC Card because SD Card was not available.
I tried it but nothing happend.
Can it be that the card must be SD and model and manufacturer must be same or something wrong with the backup image.
I then tried making SPL image from shiped ROM by typhoneNBFtools.pl on the same card but the message was "Update Not Allowed"
Please help.

did u CID ulock your phone? you must do that before flashing with SD.

I used Lokiwiz to unlock it, but I dont know it worked or not.
After this wrong update (Prophet Custom Rom for G4) the SPL is now of G4.
I am now facing the same proble as Jester (G4 SPL on G3 DOC).
As G3 & G4 DOC structure is different so its not booting to OS and even not allowing any G3 SPL to load.
I even tried Wizard Roms, Prophet Recent Roms and even Jester's ROM but my IPL & SPL stayes same as.

I've investigated deeper, and if you have a G3 with an G4 SPL you are screwed, the only way to recover is to do a hardware level fix, that is to move the flash chip to a good G3 with the correct SPL still in memory and then flash it, then move the chip back into your phone.
in short:
NEVER, EVER MIX the IPL/SPL of ANY G3 or G4 device, you will brick your phone !

Not yet, untill I get my SMD tools here, I might be able to do it
but it's very hard.
P.S.
SMD tools = hardware soldering tool, you can't fix your phone with software only.

Cid unlocking error

While i was Cid unlocking the device at step 7 when i reset my phone. the screen is stuck at the welcome screen which indicates:
IPL: 1.00
SPL: 2.13.0000
GSM: 02.20.21
OS: 1.0.13.21
i tried to hard reset but it didnt work, please any suggestions?

Put your device into bootloader mode and reflash the WM5 ROM you have, like Qtek 2.20 WWE or O2 2.15, e.g.!

i tried but it would give errors.
anyway's here's so solution in case somebody had a similar problem (took me damned 5 hours to solve it!)
tried so many different things, the fastest and easiest is to enter bootloader.
and install this Rom RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe
and it Works!
for some reason the official Rom didnt work...

I have dumped it from the device, and have Part0-3.raw files, but don't know if it's possible to reconstruct and flash without the original OS.NB file.
Any help? Can i reconstruct using Spanish dumped ROM using WWE nb-imgfs files?

Well, if you don't want to loose your TyTN II, you only need to power on, and start to using. Sure works for the most of you use it.
This forum is only to learn and have fun with the kaiser. So if your Kaiser works, don't touch...only read the user guide and that's all.
Read a lot is the only way to learn how to keep your device working

If you want to get some help, you need to give more details about your problem (if exsit...).
What have you done before the error happen? What is the error? What happen when you power on the device? What ROM version? What is the start secuence?
Without this info anyone can help you, believe me, peopple here are not magicians

-I launched kaiser ssplv1 on my kaiser
-then i executed RUU.Kaiser.HTC.WWE.1.56.405.5.radio.sign.22.45.88.07.1.27.12.11.Ship
-At 16% of flashing, processes stop and i follow RUU.Kaiser.HTC.WWE.1.56.405.5.radio.sign.22.45.88.07.1.27.12.11.Ship instruction for continue the processes, but now at 1% process stop cause invalid vendor id.
-Now when I started I see the 3 color band (red,green,blue) and these words:

cpld-8
--in top right there is written RUUNBH

Seems you have a briked kaiser... take a look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334693 to see if helps you getting info about your kaiser CID version...
I suppose you have an Spanish Kaiser, right?
So seems the only way to recover is flashing spanish Kaiser ROM (that we haven't).
The other way is sending to repair...

Yes, i have the same ROM, but the ROM is on my device, i have't the RRU file to upgrade your device...
I extracted the ROM, but for now don't know how to reconstruct it.
So you must wait or send to repair...

boot nbh ... et voilà my kaiser restart!!!!!!!!

Stuck in Colored screen

Hi all,
I had original German ROM and tryied to flash it. Stuck.
It stuck in tri-color mode with:
RUNNGH
KAIS130
SPL-1.93.0000
CPLD- 8
MYTT returns:
Cmd>task 32
No card inserted
Level = FF
Cmd>info 2
HTCSHTC__102 Ã;¿HTCE
Cmd>getdevinfo
GetDevInfo: Get CID OK
HTCSKAIS1300HC_0HTCE

did you try the command:
boot
It should boot up your phone and allow you to use it. When you reboot though you'll be back to the tri-colour screen.
Apparently, the correct fix here is to flash a rom from your original vendor. This didn't work for me but it has worked for others.

I just fixed one with the same problem. It just worked running the boot command in mtty. try it again, its not a regular behaviour...
