I read the entire post. It is NOT a CID unlock, basically the guy just ran aWizard and ignored the error of CID unlock error. The screen says CID unlock success, but it doesnt really unlock CID. rest explains what roms he used to update his O2 xda. Mostly are in Simplified Chinese ROM. Nothing special or new in that post. Search is still on.

If you want to install a new ROM then there is no need to unlock CID. This procedure explains a method for updating all components except IPL/SPL on a Wizard. The same procedure and the same tools in the document can be used on a Prophet.
Pay attention to the warnings on the first page though. The procedure is not trivial so make sure you know what you are doing before you actually do it!

Yep! Works well, as long as you try AKU2.x or better for the OS module. It didn't work with i-mate's old 1.2 ROM for JAMin but that just confirms what the article says. Everything else I've tried so far worked.

I have used the procedure tonight and all worked perfectly!
Enough simple and with no unpgrading problems!
Now I have Italian rom on my device!

Yes that rom and the configuration is the SAME of K-Jam (i had a 02 Mini S before thiefed :-(( )

Probably I made something wrong, my device is DEAD!!! I have been severals hours to fix it but no way.

You have missmatch in IPL and SPL version.
Your IPL is corresponding to DOC G3, but SPL DOC G4.
This should not be the case. What was your original DOC?
Do you have USB connection when in rainbow screen?

I just finish to download the Dopod 818 Pro Rom stop at bootloader fix but now the problem is getting biger, I mean, the battery is empty, so I can not charge the device with the USB or AC cable. I have to find a battery to try with this Rom. Or go to the technical support and try to fix it.
The screen is on and of by it self efvery couple minutes (just for a while)
Finally I got a charged battery from my brothyer and I started to download the mentioned rom, but at 80% stop, I get an error message.
ERROR 326 Invalid Command. This NBF file cannot be used for your PDA Phoen. Please check your NBF.
How could I do? Suggestions???
I made a call phone to the service mantenience and I have a date to try to fix it. I'm affraid they are going to tell me something I don't like to heard, but...

the update was sucssfull but when i push the power button the screen fliker for les than one sec and that it

mh you have g3 ... try the solution out that i mentioned before and try the cid unlock from pdamobiz.com... then reflash an older rom with spl/ipl.
edit:
the pdambiz can only be flashed when you are in align screen... if you have 2.21 take a wizard rom and go into align screen with active sync connection and flash the cid unlock rom.
if you have 2.20 then just try another prophet rom out and see if it works...

sorry that its in german but its the only one I have right now... you can also change the language with some programm which is available here in the board..spl and ipl is included and it should downgrade you pda to 2.09
its an original shipped rom, they are always for g3 and g4 right? it doesn't say anything about that, anyways i used it on my g4 and it worked so you might wanna check out before as you have a g3 device, but I'm pretty sure it works for g3 and g4
so i maneged to get my s200 into bootloader
i now i have IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.01 but my device is G3
so i tried to flash RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe
and its start and when it reached 95% igot an error that says
"ERROR 326 ivalid command, the nfb file cannot be used with your pda phone
and one got and idea what to do ????
just now i tried to flash "RUU_Prophet_2090732_20907115_020720_QtekGER_Ship.e xe" and it fail at the first time
so i tried again and it sucsess
and now my qtek work again

My kaiser everytime goes into tri-color screen when powered on. (I know maybe something wrong when I flashing the ROM last time)

should you have installed HardSPL, what rom did you install next and the next after? that one of your ROM may be the culprit, especially some shipped roms

The last rom I flashed is cht rom which downloaded from www.pdafans.com, it was a only os rom, and it's ok to work, but when I was flashing radio, failed on 95%, then gone to tri screen.

i am sorry, not too familiar with flashing only rom for radio, but have you tried re-doing it again? or may be you might want to flash your rom all over again with shipped HTC?

HTC does not release chines language ship rom, I can't find it.
I have tried re-flash with all the ways/rom as I can, it didn't work.
And how can I re-install HardSPL? without activesync, I can not do that. do you have other ways to install HardSPL on tri screen?

I had the same problem with my htc wizard a few weeks ago. I did it under Vista and the software i used wasn't vista compatible... If you use vista, try it again under windows xp. Maybe it helps!

Seems your CID is DOPOD001, so try to search for Dopod shipped ROM and flash it...

I just got Kaiser and HardSPL-ed and Supercid-ed it.
All the results were exactly as described with no errors.
Now the situation is:
Bootloader screen:
KAIS130 MFG
SPL-1.0.OliPof
CPLD-8
In mtty it shows the following:
Cmd>task 32
Cmd>info 2
HTCS00000000jR*¥HTCE
Cmd>task 32
Cmd>getdevinfo
GetDevInfo: Get backup CID
HTCSKAIS1300HTCE
It's strange that there is no response on task 32 - what does it mean?
What does "Get backup CID" means?

It's impossible for me to upgrade now my radio since my last flash. I put the 1.65.28.25 radio with the last htc french rom.
Every time I try to flash a radio, it work upon 99%, then it stop ( error 226 ) and it go to bootloader with RUUNBH error.
When I try to flash a rom+radio th error occurs about at 73% of upgrading process.
When I try to flash any rom without radio it works in every case..
Any Ideas ???

well first you have to get rid of those ruunbh error flags via mtty (do a search for it and read the procedure on how to go about this).
After that security/supercid unlock your device and than proceed to flashing different radios.

I get my kaiser back in normal mode by using KAISDIAG.NBH.
Should renew my security/cid unlock ??? I did that a few month ago.
Is it absoluty necessary to use mtty ? I put the hardspl 3.29 v2 and the commands i found in the wiki ("task 8") doesn't work. I think the mtty commands are spl dependent, i don't know theme for the patched 3.29 spl

yeah the commands are changed for 3.29 spl check jockyw's thread on more info about that. If the errors are cleared than you don't need to use mtty. Go to bootloader and give the info that is displayed over there.

does it say security unlocked on the top of this info? red font on a white background. If so than you are already security/supercid unlocked if not than you are not and i would advice to do it.
try reflashing radio after security unlocking your device.
It doesn't say that security is unlocked. Only when the modified radio of the kaiserunlocker is in use for security/simunlock.
I don't undestand, because since i security unlock a feew month ago, I was able to flash any radio.
I'll try as soon as possible, and i will give you feedback

I don't understand but i couldn't hav any gps fix with th 1.65.28.25 radio.
Since i've bought my kaiser, i can only fix with the original rom+radio's of french orange provider. With all other's combination of cooked rom and radio, it's impossible to fix...I tried rvry setting i've found on th forums, but impossible.

I Succesfully have upgraded Radio to 2.69.11 and IPL/SPL 3.08 but when i flash ROm wm6.1 or Wm6.5 it completes process but when phone starts it gives the same wm5 what am i missing? can anybody tell ? I flash using RUU utility i tried Default [HTC Wizard][ROM][WM6.1][WWE/PLK] H3r5 - final version! it completed than i tried MSD-Wizard-WM6.5-23085 but everytime it starts with Wm5 ? what's wrong with it ?

i've gone through that post but couldn't get clear idea....let me know that what am i missing ? i've read in many tutorial that if you've IPL- 3.08
SPL- 3.08 Radio- 02.69.11 , then you're ready to flash any rom 6.xx but what's wrong with my device ?
I think your wizard is CID Locked, well im not pretty sure.. you have tried to unlock it?

Yeah you're right i've done it ...im enjoy new roms .... it was CID lock problem finally i got rid of it thank you for ur help.....
NOTE: If you tried to flash a G3 rom with IPL/SPL in the rom on a G4 you probably will have a bricked device! DON'T flash the new 3.08 and 3.09 IPL/SPL to your G4!

I like H3r7-beta. He never posted a final version of it, but it works nicely. In spite of having newer phones, I still use my Wizard with H3r7 most consistently because it is the most reliable, and with H3r7 it is also my fastest phone.

But i think ANgle Final is ever best....i keep changing rooms after using for a few days till yet i found Angle Roms are the best very fast very lite and very stable..
Yes, Angel-Final is good, too! We have had several very excellent Wizard ROMs over the years.
