problem with with 5._Underground_edition_Crossbow_ROM.exe

hi all,
I installed 5._Underground_edition_Crossbow_ROM.exe
on qtek 9100 for tmobile.
Before installing this rom I installed custom_ruu_wizard_1050412....... bin and unlocked CID and phone.Now after successfully installed 5._Underground_edition_Crossbow_ROM.exe, I cannot make a call and I cannot sync with active sync v4.5. What should I do? How do I make activesync work sothat I can try another ROM? Whenever I try to goto phone or activesync setup it gives me error "a problem has occured with device.exe".
Please help me out.....

my mistake was I didn't update my 9100 to 2.26 before updating to Crossbow.So looks like communication cab has been not installed.Is there any way my 9100 can communicate with Activesync?

u shd hv read the threads here and then updated it..to upgrade to wm6 underground edition u shd hv SPL greater than 2.xx..due to which GSM is not flashed as it has 2.47 version..u need to upgrade now to a rom which has SPL 2.xx and then do the underground edition

but how do I upgrade ? ,because when I connect usb cable to the phone nothing happend. i.e. activesync cannot start.

You should take time to read and search the forums. There are numerous posts with similar issues...
You need to get to the bootloader. Turn off your phone, then hold down the camera button while you turn it on, and you will be at the rainbow (bootloader) screen. Now you can flash.
Read the thread by Dr. P in the Wizard Upgrading forum. You have to follow every step exactly as it says (the last step is to upgrade to a 2.x official ROM).

Major help needed upgrading to WM6

Hello and good afternoon, I'm a beginner and i've read a whole lot and decided today i'd take the plung and upgrade my qtek9100 to wm6,current status of my phone=NOT WORKING(sorta).
Rom version = 1.1.7.5
Rom Date = 9/22/05
Radio version= 01.01.10
Protocol ver = 4.0.13.16
ExtROM Ver = 1.1.7.105
downloaded TNT 1437 Series Pro+home and i ran the upgrade (oh my phone was brought unlocked) all was going fine it went to 99% then exit with communication error, i followed the recovery info and tried again and again, then i tried 3 other ROMs and still the same error occurs, my phone is now stuck at the 3 color bars from the recovery process and it wont upgrade to wm6.. update i then downloaded XDA_Mobile_6_r2a_Lite and installed it and all went fine, the thing is this isnt a wm6 it's wm5 so i'm back to where i started.. can anyone please tell me what i've done wrong and how i should go about getting my phone upgraded to wm6, i actually want to use the TNT roms..

Wm6 Roms can only be upgraded if you have an IPL/SPL 2.xx,as I can see from your present Rom version 1.1.7.5,you must be having IPL/SPL 1.xx,therefore,it's not possible to upgrade to wm6,untill and unless you upgrade your phone to IPL/SPL 2.xx.
First flash T-mobile 2.26 to upgrade to 2.xx and then flash any wm6 rom.

be sure that unlock means both "cid and sim" unlock, because sometimes it is network unlocked only, you can use your device with different networks using different simcards, to flash a rom you need the device cid unlocked, read the guides

Hi , thanks for the reply, i must mention that my phone is a QTek 9100 please tell me if the T-mobile 2.26 will install on my phone. if it can please can u give me a download link to it.. I've been searching the site but i haven't found any..

Are u sure your phone is CID unlocked? use the wizard service tool to be sure. U can download the t-mobile ROM here: http://www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade/ You need to have a t-mobile phone number. If u dont know any, PM me, and ill let u use mine, u dont have to pay, its just to make sure that ur a t-mobile customer.

XM6R2a is NOT wm5...if you "installed" it and you are still on wm5 then your phone is NOT cid unlocked which is probably what the communication error (302?) was trying to tell you in the first place. Follow the "how to flash a wizard" guides that are a sticky at the top of the forum.

Hey thanks to everyone who have been offering information, my progress so far, i've CID unlocked my phone and i reinstalled the pro+home wm6 and all is working, except i cant use my camera, cause i dont have enough memory as is replied by the os, i'm going to try the t-mobile updated as pointed out in a previous post.

Stuck at bootloader

Hi Everybody,
First of all let me thank in advance any help and expertise provided.
So the problem i need to solve is the following. I have the S200 (bought in germany, so it's the O2 XDA NEO), and as soon as i bought it, as it was in german, i managed to flash it with a rom in English (1.5 years ago)
Now, i tried to flash it with a Touch rom (don't remember which. PDA VIET? maybe) and it didn't work and now i'm stuck at the bootload with the current message:
IPL 2.20.0001
SPL 2.20
I've tried several roms and some (apparently) flash but then get back to this bootload screen, others don't flash at all.
Anyone can help me then solving this? I'd like to install one of the Touch roms, if not possible just bring it back to life with any WM5 roms...

Search for an official WM5 ROM like from o2 or Qtek! Connect your Neo via USB to your PC and start the update process! That#s all to bring your device back to live!

Thanks for the quick reply, but i tried this already but it doesn't work as well. I did somehing to the SPL (i was doing it a bit blindfolded as i'm quite newbie in this) and i think that's why i cannot flash anything anymore, not sure.
Is it normal to have SPL 2.20 (no other digitis after the 20)?
ANd to bring it back to life, do i have to install one of the original roms? can't i simply install the Touch versions?

Try a really official WM5 ROM, like from o2 Germany! And when I correctly understand which Touch ROM you mean, it can't be used to recover your Phone!

Hmm, also tried with RUU_Prophet_220739_2207119_021921_QTEK_GER_Ship_NO_IPL_SPL.exe
from List of Available Original Shipped ROM Versions, and got Error [300]. This Update Utility cannot be used of your PDA. Get Newer Update utility.

find for o2 neo rom, from o2, thats the only way, coz in bootloader u cant bypass CID, so go for google.. or PM me...i willl give u the link!!

No vendor ID. This was the only one that started the flashing process, but stopped at 80% with the error [326] This nbf cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please check your nbf file...

That means it is unlocked. Try the ROM I linked earlier just to get the device usable.

hi thanks for yor fast reply but i download the rom that you link and run it in 80 percent of flashing the new rom i have wait few minutes and in device the process bar become red after afew minutes it goes blue(green) and continue but again in 95 percent get red and after minutes i recive the eror that tell : ERROR [320~328] : INVALID COMMAND please chek your nbf file idont know what should i do

These errors seldom occur. However, if one of these errors occur, it could not be recovered and the device had to be sent back to the customer service center. In this case, you have to flash a new ROM code.

My Prophet is dead!!! What can i do? PLZ Help!!!

Hi. Congratulations for your good work!!!
Last week i bought an O2 XDA Neo (used) from Germany. Everything was working ok. The only problem was with the language (German) so i wanted to change the language to English and after that if it was possible to Greek. I thought that the only way to do that was to change its firmware. My phone had the official firmware WM5. I downloaded and installed ActiveSync on computer. Then i synchonised the PC with the phone succesfully. And at last i runned a rom that downloaded from wiki from the prophet forum. It installed succefully but after a restart the phone stucked on a three colour screen. I reinstalled the same rom and another rom but the problem is the same. Nothing works. The phone is dead?
What did wrong? Is it possible to repair this problem? Plz if enyone knows something, i would appreciate it if he replies to this thread.

the good thing is..
your prophet is NOT dead..
simply flash it again..
tri-colour screen is a bootloader mode and in that state you still can flash your neo with RUU ROMs
a prophet is called DEAD ,only if it cannot enter bootloader state
flash it with ORIGINAL ROM..and that should works..
read the instructions before going to WM6 as it needs some steps before simply flashing it

Hi m friends. After hard work i finally made my phone works again. I instaled the oficial rom for prophet (O2 Germany) that founded in another thread. Then it worked fine. Then i hadrspled my devive and finally i installed a WM6 rom caslled evolution.... and it worked fine. But does enyone knows if it is possible to have greek language and greek keypad on my prophet? Thank you for your help in advance.

It uses the old upgrading method, so you will need to flash the "Part One" ROM first, then don't do anything to the device and then flash the "Part 2".

Rom Update failed

Hi,
I´m trying to flash a Wiz200 with Shady313-28005-GER-R2-SE.
First of all I would like to know is:
Is this a HTC Wizard P3300 G3?
Second:
Starting Rom Update Utility - all is fine but after Bootscreen appears, there´s always an error - USB Connection failed. Shouldn´t happen under WinXP.
Driver is installed, Device Manager shows Mobile Device.
Is it possible, that the Rom file is not correct, because it has .nbh as extension. Other Roms with .nbf extansion are working pretty.
Radio is 2.69.11
IPL 2.21
SPL 2.21
Would be thankful for an answer.

I found this ROM "Shady313-28005-GER-R2-SE" under "Artemis, MDA Compact3 ". You are here in "Wizard, MDA Vario". If you have a Wizard (Wiza200) , you can take Cyberdynes Skynet ROM ,its german...
Roms for Artemis dont run in Wizard I think.
For WM6.1 in german you can use Xions ROM Kitchen.
