i have a jama after power on stay at logo and switch off itself, my customer bring for security code but without touch it it switch off.
how to repair it ?

I recently had my T-Mobile PPC Phone edition repaired after some months of nonuse. I had repalced it with an HP6315 - Lots of problems with the 6315 caused me to return to my PPC Phone. When it was returned from repair. The ROM seemed to be missing several features. No longer has a slider for back light brightness adjustment when on battery power. Buttons only shows 2 buttons rather then 4. and there is no lock to prevent button use without pressing the power button first. The service man told me I was getting the PPC confused with the hp 6315 and these features were never available on the PPC. Please help and advise me if he is right so I can apologize and resolve this issue.

I have not seen the ability to adjust backlight, you can lock the buttons though so the only way to switch on is with the power switch, however I understand this was only avaliable under certain roms and was under the @[email protected] setting on phone settings. I dont know which buttons you are referring to so cant help you there.
On above, its funny, mine is ROM wwe_Rm3070712, WinMobile 6 Pro. Installed only with o2 themes, fontpatch for chinese language support, and Smart text .
Problems are :
1) it hangs everytime after 1 hour on synchronising (on ActiveSync 4.5).
2) The power ON/OFF can only wake up the device from sleeping mode; cannot do a ON/OFF to power on or shut down. To soft reset, must use the poke hole method - small issue that I can live with it.
Previously using winMobile 5, no such things happened. Someone said removing the o2 themes solved the problem. I would do so if not for embedded o2 Calender that can display 6 grid lines to show 6 upcoming appointments. This is a must have feature to me.
Advice appreciated.

I have Asus p535 Recently I have changed my PDA motherboard due to some problems. While doing That Asus gave me a free upgrade to WM6
Now after 2 months I have a peculiar probleem
My backlight does not turn up when I press the active button. Sometiomes it just flickers . Most of the time it does not turn up and I cannot use the phone
However the backlight turns on when I get an incoming call. Like wise when I do hard reset or soft rset it turns un until the windows mobile logo and goes off as soon as the Today screen turns up.
Sometimes like a mind of its own. The backlight will turn turn up normally and I can use my phone. Nowadays I have disabled turning backlight off and use the HOLD buttom to turn it off so once it turns on it remains on. However the problem still remains
To summarize in few lines
1>Backlight turns on when hard reset and reamijs till WINDOWS MOBILE logo appears and dims and turns off as soon as today screen is loaded
2>The backlight wont tuirn on with any input . Sometimes it just flickrs on and off
3<When i receive incoming call the backlight turns on and works normally
4>sometimes the backlight after flickering may turn on and the phone works perfectely for 3-4 days
I want yo ask few questions
1>Is this a hardware problem as i suppose it isnt coz phone works fine with incoming calls
2>If its a software problem is it BIOS related
3>If its software related do I need to reinstall WM6 and upgrade/ downgrade BIOS
4>Is this battery realted. however my battery does not drain fast inspite of it being 1300mah
5>My warranty is expired so any thing which can solve my problem with self help is appreciated
6> Should i upgrade to 6.1 or android as explained by some in these forums as i personally feel my problem to be wm6 related as many have complained of lock screens

turn back the lcd and heat up the 2 way on the right side.
4 way is touch screen and 2 ways on the very right are lcd light.

I want to know that how can I switch on my imate k-jam.Yesterday i downloaded a small game which is in ZIP format.When I opened it there was a VB format file.I ignore it that whatever the file extension,I opened it,then internet explorer opened and i closed it just then my mobile was switched off.Then I switched it on and it was started and then the welcome screen i.e:"tap the screen to set up your windows based mobile",and the mobile was restarted again.It keeps on going for 4 to 5 times.Then on 6th time the "T-Mobile screen" appears and the phone was off.I done the hard format because i thought that it was a virus(but I didn't know that it is completely done or not)Because a screen appears(i forgot the contents of that screen but it was something like that "default to press the send key or press any key to exit") but i didn't press any key for a while and the screen disappears.And after that my Imate K-jam was not started yet.I thought that the battery has gone down and i charged it for an hour but i didn't started.Please help me!!! My Imate K-Jam is not starting what do i do....Please anuone here can help me...Thanksss alot in advance...Please please help me....
