Official HTC ROM and Radio - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

Hi,
I'm trying to get the official updates from HTC, but I cannot find anything on www.htc.com (even in HTC eClub).
Can someone provide me the way to the official update by HTC (ROMS, Radio,...)
Thanks in advance.

We're all waiting for HTC to publish the first update to the TyTN II ROMs.
Let's pray that they produce at least one update before dropping all support for this phone.

Look in this thread for the various "official HTC ROMs"... you should be able to find the right one for your phone.

htc club
this is a clever little ploy by our wonderful service provider, that claims the future is bright.....
however, the very nice people at HTC inform me that unfortunately, because our devices although HTC are however of the "future is bright people" and due to this we cannot access the htc site for rom updates, it can only be got through you know who's site.
And i was also informed it is totally illegal to use their rom, on the futures bright peoples handsets, and your warranty would be worthless if you attempt too do so.
So if your looking for updates, dont hold your breath waiting for one to appear.
Not sure what the situation is for people with 02, T-Mo, or voda - but that how it is for us bright peeps.... Very Dull.
If anyone has generic roms by HTC i'm sure the collective may find posted links useful

Try FTP from this site

How to RMA a phone with a cooked ROM?

Hey
My Touch Pro seems to have a fault so I need to RMA it, probably straight to HTC (suspect I'll have difficulties with the shop I bought it from) so I figure I need to flash it back to a stock HTC ROM. One problem is I bought it here in Spain so it had a Spanish ROM before but I don't see one available on the wiki.
So I have a few of questions:
1. Is there any legit way I might have flashed my TP to a WWE ROM that HTC wouldn't disapprove of?
2. Are the ROMS here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael_WM6.1_ROMs the same as regular cooked ROMs in terms of how you go about installing them?
3. Can I remove HardSPL? Do I need to?
Any help gratefully received thanks
Oh also... Can anyone recommend a very plain ROM for Touch Pro? I don't know how to install the plain WM6 ROMS on the wiki so I'd like to test with something as close to a stock ROM as possible just to try to rule out the possibility my fault is actually a ROM issue
(I get lockups when playing audio *and* clicking around between apps. The phone is stable when there's no audio running, and if audio is running and I'm not doing anything else it's also stable, it seems to be the combination that's a problem)
No one?
Can't you download one of the official ROMs from HTC directly? If you're going to be sending it to them, as long as there's an official ROM on it, it shouldn't matter.
I didn't realise they provided them actually. But there don't seem to be any on their site for the TP.
You can use one from the Wiki
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Raphael_WM6.1_ROMs (your link from first post )
Use one thats WWE and HTC (and read the thread to the rom )
good luck!

Thanks for the help everyone, I think I have everything I need now (found SPL downgrade instructions too)
nice to hear!
good luck with the RMA!

Two solutions:
1) Don't hold the phone in landscape as problem is much worse when held like this..
2) Achieve S-OFF and install a custom ROM which should have a software fix.
If you need to know what S-OFF then you probably are S-ON. To see how to get S-OFF then use search within forum and google.
Look at other posts before creating a new thread......http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1036357
i did a research on s-off but could'nt find any topic to show how to s-off the HTC Desire S.
Any resolution for that?

There are two routes....
1) XTC Clip
this route invalidates your warranty...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1076937&highlight=xtc
2) Software only method.....Although not released yet.....for our Device

No idea, I'm afraid. I'd also recommend that you don't ask that question in the thread as it will simply annoy the developers who are working on the solution as fast as they can.
It has been shown to work on the Desire S already, but isn't yet released. It's released for other devices which shows that its not vapour ware and is worth waiting for.
and yes I'd suggest waiting a fortnight to a month at least....before contemplating XTC
If I've provided you with assistance or help then please hit the THANKS button!

there isn't one thread but dozens
Start with reading all the sticky threads in the android development section
Google clock work mod there are some good guides available
You shouldn't be in such a hurry, as you're weeks to wait until you're soff and therefore loads of time to research and read, this forum is a great place to start
This is my first android phone so we're all learning here

[Q] HTC sensation software update

Hi,
I have an HTC sensation software number 1.50.415.1 (living in Lebanon) and I am trying to search for an update to Android 4 all the time but getting the same answer always: No update / new OS version for your device.
As I heart, the Android 4 can be installed on this device since more than 6, 7 months. Can anyone tell why I can not find an update for this device? Isn't there an update or is there any way to upgrade to Android 4 (without jailbreaking sure)?
How to check whether the installed OS is official or not? (since after contacting HTC support team, they said this software is not official while I am sure it is. Anyway nothing to say about HTC support team that are very careless and non-professional).
Thank you for your help in advance,
Fadi

Should I re-post there or I the replies will be here?
If I should re-post there so how should I move this thread?
Thanks.

Easy way to upload a Rom

I got this Rom for the evita hoxl and I'm just trying to upload it thanks
sent from HTC one x
unlocked and rooted 2.20 bounty style
you mom said hi :b
You're gonna need to be a bit more specific than that. I don't know your answer, but for the people that might, provide some more details please.
Is it a ROM that you developed or customized yourself?
You'll need to host it on a file-hosting site and link it to a post/thread dedicated to your ROM. Users can then turn to that thread to download, discuss and seek support for your ROM.
