Keyboard Typing Slow

Im having a problem.. my keyboard is being realllyyy slow.. i can finish typing a whole sentence of 10 words and it will only be on the second word and loading the rest. Im using Dutty's newest rom.. any way to fix this?

You didn't read the first couple of posts in the Dutty thread. You didn't post this in the thread on that ROM...which is where this belongs. You didn't read the Wiki page on Dutty's ROMs and you didn't search the thread for the answer. Now you have forced me into it. I have to go kick a bunch of puppies. I have to shave a few kittens and throw them in that big pool of water. And it's all because you didn't do any of these things that follow forum etiquette and would have answered your question because it's been addressed many dozens of times before. I cannot take the blame for the punishment of those cute furry animals. This is all because of your post. All you had to do was check the wiki to see that you need to install the Disable XT9 cab file to fix this. But no...you wanted me to punish the puppies and kittens.
Edit: I would also refer you to the link in the Alex quote in my sig...Please watch that before you start another new thread. kthxbai

your right i didnt read the first few posts... i have read the Wiki... i did search his thread.. and i DO have that installed and im still having this problem

Then the next thing to try from the discussions that have been had on this would be to change your autocomplete settings to suggest fewer words or turn autocomplete off depending on your preference. In the future, however, please keep questions related to a specific ROM in that ROM's thread. You will get help faster that way and you won't get smacked about with a large trout whilst being flamed.

Firstly, please learn how to type coherently. Secondly, your post has nothing to do with this thread and offers nothing useful to this thread. Thirdly, personal attacks are not wanted or needed and are, in fact, in poor taste and show that you have a high level of immaturity. Fourthly, nothing in my reply had anything to do with what "rom" is coolest. Fifthly, you obviously missed the point of humor in the reply.
And for the record, typing things like "dat" and "den" and using phrases including both "yo" and "homes" only makes you look like a 12 year old attempting and failing at looking hip and cool. Please spare us all the pain of watching you contort yourself in such a way that you are actually able to wear your buttocks as a hat.

did u power off, then on your device after installing the disable xt9 cab?

and stil think u got way too much time on ur hands...
btw. its o.k to not to search or ask questions. its not such a horid thing to miss a thread or 2...big deal. if u wanna turch somone cuz they ask...means u got way to much time on your hand and well quite frankly its not like ppl here do it left and right..ease off..doesnt buy you points in no one book dat you turchin noobs jus cuz u can...
now instead of turning this argument into somthing dat will waste more time on both sides,, i just say take it on a good note. ur funny and have great vocabulary and great sharp answers , im just saying sercazem isnt allways da way...

I agree with jarek091, and wonder WTH you are trying to accomplish here - you are not contributing anything useful, and your incredibly poor 'grammar / street talk / whatever the hell it is' is incredibly annoying. By your own admission you have a maturity level of 12, so why don't you go find a forum where that is appropriate, like maybe MySpace?

Duttys 6.1 on Tilt ok but no sound.

The ROM upgrade to 6.1 went well and it looks great (outstanding work!).
I have no sound at all now.
Vibrate works.
Speaker is on etc but no ring, sounds, anything.
Any ideas?
Also - is there a way to get rid of the start-up flash that shows TEST ONLY, NOT FOR SALE ?

I'm felling nice today. Don't get used to it.
1. Click on the link in my sig. go to radios folder, then 6.1 radios, d/l one and flash it. you are using a 6.0 radio and it wont work.
2. while there, pick a splash screen and flash it as well.

Heads up, I think I hear Kyphur and his Colossal Hammer headed this way. Watch your head. I ain't gettin hit with that damn thing.

FLASH A 6.1 RADIO! We really don't need people making new threads for this, we get enough people in the release threads that Dutty posts.

I thought one of the biggest rules was to respect other members? what do you call this? I dont know what pleasure you guys get from verbally abusing people that only have 2-10 posts under their belts, but your acting like little kids with an ant farm here, and most of you seem to have magnifying glasses in your hands...

You sure you want to use an old Dutty ROM...he's been gone for a long time and there are plenty of newer builds to play with..
Also, its a harsh world here at XDA and the regulars like people to do some reading and research before asking questions (unfortunatly, you asked a question that has been answered about a billion times over the last few years and lesser men have been kicked senseless for asking the same question as you).
We all loved dutty but he's gone. Its time to move on and find someone new.

LOL, so funny...I guess I should have looked at the original posters date (or even what brought this thread back from the dead). I know Dutty is still alive he just moved to the next level before me. I'm gonna get a diamond (fuze) when AT$T has a sale ($150 is my high limit). He is still cooking for a diamond isn't he???

Is anyone working on a "Dream G1" Rom or isnt it worth it? A friend of mine works for T Mobile and has been bragging about their new phone. It would drive her crazy if I showed up with an ATT tilt looking like a G1

AT&T Tilt Unlock walk through

So it took me many hours to figure this out, and I am sure there are some people staying up late at night trying to unlock there AT&T tilt's. You may succeed in unlocking your tilt, but what happened to your camera? Or what happened to your calls? Its all messed up right?
Thats what XDA developers would like to call, the "Radio". Your radio is not liking your phone so it acts up.
Long story short, start here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=375583 with the Kaiser unlock. Follow all of that mumbo jumbo than when your done, go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=421007. This second link is the original radio for your tilt that will pretty much restore the phone to its normal radio, yet keep your phone unlocked and kick BUTT!!!!!
Enjoy and if there is there is anybody you should donate to it would be either of those links
NOTE!!!!!! The second link can be performed ONLY on the AT&T tilt. Not the TYTN II, or any other type, just the Tilt.

Truth be told, I am a noobie just getting the hang of it all
the purpose of this thread was to save some people some time. I spent many hours on my phone, and once i found the solution, I decided to spread the word. If I did something wrong or could have posted this in a better fashion, than please, somebody let me know. Besides that.

no you did nothing wrong, and i to like your poll, but the mods might feel this thread is redundant because there are already thread/threads describing how to unlock a kaiser. i'm just glad your first thread was about this and not "which rom is best", i hate those

Hi mate, I agree that everyone has to start learning from somewhere.. You don't have to be very technical do use some of the apps and themes. Just read very carefully the instructions and you'll be fine.
Now I know that a lot of people don't like the words "use the search" but in that case it's the best thing to do. Just type "theme" or :icon changer" or "tweaks" or "games" and you'll have a lot of results and different was to make your phone look and work better.
Nevertheless you'll have to do some work yourself by reading all the stuff.
Before I get hammered for i wish you good luck...

for games i have FPSECE 0.10 which is a superb Playstation 1 emulator.. go to www.fspece.net for the details
in terms of other tweaks and stuff... i would recommend searching as everyone's taste is different..
