After I un-install a Chinese input method, the keypad has no response. Is the keypad locked???? Could anyone tell me how to unlock the keypad??? My phone is TREO 750.
Many thanks,
Jim

Hello, I am using O2 XDA Stealth, and try to find around but I can't find a solution of this. When in sms mode, I want to use it's build in keypad for text input which is Nokia like, but it doesn't let me input letters but only numbers. Any solution please? (Not T9 on-screen keypad, but physical phone's keypad) Thank you guys.

hi
press and hold the * key to switch to Multi-Tap. Then you can do it like nokia.
Change your input type to eZitext, rather than keyboard.
is any other program better than the ezitext?
this information is very helpful..thanks
Hello,
Does anyone uses the S2U2 with the treo 750 ?
I found out that pressing the power button twice when the device is turned off unlock him. Is there a way to override it?
The application is great but the phone bill can be greater with accidentally calls
Thanks,
Nir

I see the same issue with S2U2 and my Treo 750.
Too bad, too! S2U2 looks really amazing, but I need it to reliably locked.
I've played with most of the settings and don't see a way to prevent it.
Hello,
hope somebody can help me out. the keypad of my touch diamond 2 is acting very strange. i have selected the "telephone" keypad with T9 to type messages etc. but the keypad will only display numbers when i hit the keys. when i do a hard reset, the keypad is ok again for a while (a day). i have diamond tweak 0.5.3. from montecrisof installed. hope anyone can help me out because i can't find anything about this bug on the net.
thanks in advance, mirko
anyone have this problem or a fix? lately my keyboard keys are difficult to press... i mean i press a key and it feels like a click or the key goes down but the letter isnt inputted.
so i have to press really hard and then it works....to use the keyboard now is too difficult to type sms, etc.
....or maybe ive lost strength in my fingers?
any ideas?
treo 750
just do a hard reset on your treo 750...
Yes, I've had this with my old Treo 750. I put up with it, but I remember reading about some people who had opened up their device and removed the membrane behind the keyboard. They reported that this sorted out their problem, but I haven't tried this myself.

Just a reference for my previous post: http://discussion.treocentral.com/treo-750/167703-some-keys-not-very-responsive-anymore.html

some picture guides to open the device and solve the keyboard problem, sorry it's in chinese, but with photo, somehow it is understandable.
The key press issue has deteriorated to the point that I'm willing to take apart my Treo 750 to deal with it now (also I'm a bit braver partly because it's now my secondary device). When the down key on the D-Pad starts to not register, it can get very annoying
I found this video on YouTube of a Palm Treo 755p, which apparently most resembles the Treo 750. Hope it helps:

Just to report back: I've completed the 'operation' and having removed the membrane, the keyboard is a lot better!
thanks
thanks for your replies...i will take a look at the links and videos and try out that tip about taking out the membrane
seems like it worked for another reader so i hope it works for me
Okayy ive got a problem with my htc touch pro keyboard.
I had just brought my touch pro (brand new) recently and i have been looking all over the internet trying to find a solution to my problem. .
My hardware keyboard is all wrong, the letters are fine, but its the numbers i am having a problem with.
for example, when i press number "1" it will bring up the start menu, when i press number "2" the "@" symbol will come up, when i press number "3" the underscore symbol will come up. and so on.
I had looked at every single setting on the device and no luck.
. i was really disappointed and i couldnt do anything about it.
Could anyone please help me.
Thanks In Advance

touch pro? Did i miss something?
Not a developmental question nor saphire, thread moved
Install this cab and select touch pro keyboard, sounds like yours is set for a Fuze keyboard.
