After Upgrading to windows 6 Some times My phone screen suddenly fade to white , blue or black.. I've tried different roms and still the problem exist
can someone help me? what is happening to my universal? is it because WM6 still not stable?

Which Radio Rom are you using ?

I've been using 1.17 but when I use 1.15 the screen also fade to blue or white
Try without sd card
or
try older (reliable) wm5 rom

I already try KAMAL WM5 but still it happens and I also forget to mention that when the screen fade to white or blue my phone suddenly become hot..is there any possibility that the problem is from the hardware?

Yes, I have try another battery and the wifi is off..
The screen went blue when I was receiving sms or when I want to send sms.
sometime when I left the phone standby for half an hour the phone cannot be turned on and I have to press the reset button and after entering the splash screen the screen went blue/white again so I have to reset several time
i think its something e related to the vibrate? its shorted or somehting and the power is going there but no vibration.. thus causing the overheating and the freezing.. im not sure but maybe.. also have you dropped the machine?
Appears to be a hardware problem. You may try this, it may work:
1. Remove the battery. Keep the battery out at least for a few hours.
2. With the battery out operate a few keys randomly. Also operate the on/off switch a couple of times.
3. Remove your sim card and storage card.
4. Put the battery back.
5.Allow the booting process without intruption.
6. If it works well just switch off, remove battery and insert the sim card and sd card. reboot
Although it sounds a bit wierd it does work in some cases. Worth giving it a try.

it means that the problem is because of the roms not the hardware..

Hi guys, I am a newbie member of this forum, even though I used to browse through the lot of useful information found here some time before.
I recently bought a MDA PRO, which was sim locked to German T-Mob. I managed to unlock it thanks to Buzz's unlocking tool. (really great)
The problems appeared after applying the patched radio version, and upgrading using UNI_QTEK_13077_176_10900_WWE.exe or UNI_QTEK_13077_176_10900_WWE_Ship.exe the touchscreen stopped working. Actually I m not putting the SIM Unlock or ROM Upgrade in connection with the touchscreen failure (because I've done them before and everything worked fine), I just would like to ask if anyone has experienced this problem before.
Now after I finished upgrading to one of the above mentioned ROMs and made a hard reset on the device I got stuck on the touchscreen setup. It just does not respond.
I will be really thankful for whatever help and support

Thank you for your effort, Farbird. Unluckily it didn't work at all. Maybe I shouldt try to leave the device without battery for a longer period of time.

If yr screen was working earlier then in the LapTop mode try to apply small pressure on the 4 corners of the cover/lid(Not LCD) and check..
Normally this happens when one replaes a touch screen..the device does not remember the earlier setting so touch screen doesn't respond..one has to manually go to screen option and do it..it starts working..

Thank you hdubli, but this hasnt solved my problem.
By setting the screen manually, were you speaking of setting in via "settings" menu - system in WM5 ?
I think I m going to have the MDA replaced, just hope they will not make too much hassle about it being sim unlocked

Today this has happened twice in same day -When ever my Vox is lying Ideal the network indicator blinks also if its on charge i wil get a orange LED.but if I press any keys (lets assume to make a call) the Screen still remains Blank...
This problem I had also faced earlier my O2 NEO (Prophet) before it went dead completely!!
I am worried is it an indication of slow death!!
P.s I dont wanna lose the vox as i lost my beloved prophet

I usually get this problem once in every two days. I uninstalled all the extra apps leaving very few which I am sure wouldn't cause any harm. Since then I haven't seen this problem. Its been more than two days.
What I do when I get this problem is, remove the battery for 5 seconds and put it back before I attempt a restart. I don't think you need to worry about this too much if not for the calls that gets lost when the phone is in this state.
Sometimes it happens to me where the screen, once it goes blank, will not come back on. I usually just reboot it and forget about it. I've had my vox for a year and its happened on every rom I've used probably about 5 or 6 times.

Actually My vox does not show any thing on the screen totally blank and just the GREEN LED (network) blinks...
Thats also true tht I sometimes goes off completely and its too hot to handle.
In my case (blank screen) i usually make a call on my cell and it comes out of the blank screen to display incoming call...
I guess u shud try the same thing rather thn removing the batt ...as i had already lost my O2 Neo in the same manner.!!
I think we still need a solution on this

hey...so i think there something really wrong with my wizard...
when im just using it sometimes when i switch it off ( not ike completly just press the button once...) and then when i want to switch it on again it doesnt work...! its still on cuz the green LED still works but i get no picture...so i have to take aut the battery and restart it...!
whats wrong there<???
and then i have another problem and its that sometimes when im starting the wizard again after that happened it turns to white screen after the second boot screen (but its not the same moment every time...some time between the second boot screen and till its started up )...or there are wired stripes on the screen for a few seconds and then it restarts...or sometimes it just stucks at the 2nd splash screen or some other time during starting up...
i already switched the rom so i used crackings 6.1 rom before now i use his 6.5 rom...
i thought it could be the cpu??
i runned it on 240 or 252 for like 6 month now...
does anyone know how to fix that or is there no way of fixing it?

Open the phone and check the connection between the mother board
and the video (its the push connector on the back of the MB) if its tight
you will have to take the lcd section apart ,the other end of the ribbon
cable goes to the lcd and digitizer its a tab locking connection with clear yellow tape over it. check and see if its all the way in ... if that don't fix it get get a new LCD/digitizer from Ebay .. it plugs in i one piece ...
then your off a running ... id watch the over clocking too ... when you
OC the cpu everything runs faster and heat builds up and can damage the phone .. i have seen several OMAP versions here that OC when needed
and return when the phone is idle ..

If you are sure that your problems are not rom specific (you faced the same problems with different Roms?) then maybe this is the solution for your problem .

Same thing has started happening to me. I just press the reset button and it restarts just fine. I don't see why others are thinking its a problem with the LCD. A reset shouldn't fix that (I'm guessing).

ya so the problem i have is not the one descibed in the video...
its differnet...the stripes are ther not the whole time ...it comes sometimes and then there are these stripes and then the screen turns slowly white...and then sometimes it restarts or its just stays white...
and when i normaly switch it off then the leds are still working just the screen wouldnt turn on...
so i really have no idea whats going on there...i tried to make a video but now it didnt happen for almost 4 days so i just hope that its not happening again...
but its really wired and i think its the cpu cuz i cant think of another reason for that...
I flashed my Rom before one month and i have serious problem. I do not know if problem appeared suddenly but I noticed that, when people told me that they called me and missed calls not appeared.
The problem is when my device goes to sleep mode. The phone not rings but only screen goes on, when terminate the call (no leds, no missed call notification).
I tried to change battery settings and disable turn off device if not used for 1 minute (default). Now, my screen goes black only if I press power button. But the phone still not rings.
I really need your help, i tried everything hard reset, reflash my rom again but the same. Thank you in advance!

Are you getting any sound at all from anything?? Only reason why i ask, the prophet is prone to load speaker blow outs, it happened to me..... but its easy to fix, about $10 from ebay and half hours work and voila fixed.
I have a HTC Tytn II and for the past month and a half I have been using the Android OS (Haret) on it. Just a couple days ago it somehow went to the Tricolor screen. I can always boot up Windows Mobile by plugging in the usb charger and then soft resetting it but it I think there is something wrong with my phone. Sometimes my keyboard doesn't work when I'm running Windows and sometimes I cant hear calls. When I boot up Android sometimes the buttons on the front wont work with the exception of the directional buttons. Every time I reset it, it goes to the Tri Color screen. I need to fix this.. can anyone help me?

Android on Kaiser is as beta as it gets, if I were you, I would flash back to a stock rom and start testing to see if you have software, rom or hardware problems
I did a hard reset and I still have the same problem. It continuously goes back to the Tri Color screen and sometimes my keyboard doesnt work when I am typing texts. But the Android was running very smoothly. I used it for over a month. Could dropping my phone have caused this?

That would do it ! Like I said, try flashing back to the stock rom amd see if that solves any issues.

Lol thanks for that I needed a good laugh. Next you'll say things rattle inside it when you shake it. Or it's no longer waterproof after you went for a swim.
As previously stated, reflash and check that way. If no joy you might wanna open her up and check the guts for any loose connections.
