WM6 - Where'd the camera app go? - Palm Treo 750

Been running WM6 since it first leaked. Been running it without the AT&T crapware for a few weeks now.
This morning, the camera app seems to have disappeared.
Anyone have any ideas, short of a hard reset?
TIA.

camera application Treo 750
Well, I've the same problem, but even before upgrading to Windows Mobile 6.
From one day to the other, the link for the camper application was gone.
So it's not possible to use the device.
Anyone, who can help us?

I too have randomly lost my camera!
Just updated to 2.25 but that didn't help!

I have the Vodafone TP and updated my ROM @ the weekend to the latest HTC shipped one, without any probs.
Hope that helps?
What ROM are you using out of interest. I've got the ROMeOS V1.05
what benefits will i get when using the htc rom over the vodafone one?
better stability?
improoved bluetooth?
faster interface?
how do i go about doing it? how easy is it to revert if i change my mind?

o2 Serra - GPS Fix fix available

Anyone noticed the GPS Fix fix on the o2 UK website..?
i noticed it ! installed it and the only thing it seems to visably install is quickGPS..
BUT it seems to work! Using copilot 7 i got a fix in under 10 seconds... seems to have definatly done the trick - only time will tell if this continues!
On another note ive heard a rumour from o2 that they are woking on an updated rom that should be out sometime over the next moth or so that will fix other problems with the serra including battery drain....

o0o - cool.
Could you upload the file? I don't have a Serra, but want to take a look..?
I have changed the ROM on my serra and now get a fix very quickly every time. What I have not cured is the slight lag whilst using the sat nav. Sometimes this seems OK but is a pain when going round a big roundabout and not sure what exit to take, as the device is a little behind.
Any feedback as to if this fix helps would be great.
Can anyone test speed lag? When you come to a complete stop and your speedometer reads 0, how long does it take for your GPS app to read 0?
Here's the link to o2's exe which install it on your Serra via the PC. They wanted a serial number to download it, but HTC123456789 worked fine lol.
I heard there was suppose to be a new rom from HTC to "fix" the GPS lag problem. Who knows when it will be "official" but you can bet it will show up on XDA before anywhere else

From the filename it does look like it just installed QuickGPS
It is indeed just Quick GPS, but it works.
Without this application a lock could take upto 20mins.
With quick gps, it takes less than 2 mins.
Well done to HTC / O2 for taking action against an ongoing issue.
The workarounds have been good, but im glad to see an official fix.

Is this the same quickGPS that comes with the stock ATT FUZE and most of the Fuze ROMs?

no, but it is the same one as the latest raphael rom from htc.
this one is: 1.0 1815.2630
while some cooked rom have (for example RRE): 1.0 1817.3430
cant get it to install, it gave me a wrong rom verison error.

itsnotmeee, you have your GPS working with this and no other tweaks ?
Can someone not in the UK\not on O2 verify that it does actually work
It could just be tweaking QuickGPS to work better with O2's towers
I don´t know if I am of any help here, but my Touch Pro came with Quick GPS pre-installed and didn´t help me from experiencing the same problems many others reported about earlier: no fix, losing fix. It seeemed always to work after a fresh reeboot, then after using tomtom for e few times (probably) the logging of sattelites prevented the dwvice from getting a fix.
I did the registry tweaks which solved the problem, however TT7 is still lagging if only slightly. This neither worsened nor improved after editing the registry.
Using ROM 1.90.407.4GER
Radio 1.02.25.19
that is the situation I am in
I have once again done a hard reset to start from scratch
I think I have mangaed to get a fix 3-4 times and all when testing, I have not yet used the GPS in anger as it refuses to get a fix when I actually want to use it
I have tried TT and now iGo
google maps got me a fix once only

Interworking unspecified on WM 6.5

I've been a lurker here for about a week or so, got my Fuze like a week and a half ago for my Bday (I prefer it over the TP2 for some reason), but anyways my problem lays with when I flash 6.5 on to my phone. I've tried Timolo's Stock like and Da_G's Clean Fuze (both 6.5 versions), and the problem is when I end calls on them, with either using the HTC phone canvas (Tachi I think?) or using the stock 6.5 phone canvas, the other person gets the error "Interworking Unspecified" on their end of the land, after (maybe while) the call ends. Does anyone know what's up with this? I use AT&T, no data plan. Was thinking something is wrong with my config, I have since then gone back to the latest stock rom, and I don't seem to experience this on 6.1 (I've tried Da_G's Clean Fuze 6.1 verison to see). Thanks!

What's the BEST GPS app for i900?

Yup, I'm still confused.
When I got my i900, (one year and a half ago) the package got a GPS app, which I installed and TRIED to use.
It wasn't, at least for me, user-friendly, so a few months ago, when I made a hard-reset , I started to find what would be the best GPS App for windows mobile 6.1.
Can you guys, point me your favorite GPS apps, form i900, please?
Thx in advance.

[Q] Treo freezing up please help

I'll try a different approach, my treo 750 started freezing up during texting, then it started taking a little time when I refreshed the screen for the time to adjust, any advice. I've successfully downloaded ms 6.5 but seems to still be a problem. Is there a fix for this freezing? Thanks
Well, you could try to downgrade to WM5 and then upgrade back to WM6, other than that the Treo may have reached it's end of life. Or it could be like mine where the battery is a problem, like it needs to be replaced.
god!! thanks for a reply mangatron, finally, I thought everything was fixable, maybe I'll try the battery from my new(er) 750 and see what happens. Thanks again for the reply.
While I have you, is there any progress on a reliable wm 6.5 rom? I've tried them all on here and all seem buggy. I really prefer that rom to 6.1. Thanks again for the reply.
