Interworking unspecified on WM 6.5 - Touch Pro, Fuze General

I've been a lurker here for about a week or so, got my Fuze like a week and a half ago for my Bday (I prefer it over the TP2 for some reason), but anyways my problem lays with when I flash 6.5 on to my phone. I've tried Timolo's Stock like and Da_G's Clean Fuze (both 6.5 versions), and the problem is when I end calls on them, with either using the HTC phone canvas (Tachi I think?) or using the stock 6.5 phone canvas, the other person gets the error "Interworking Unspecified" on their end of the land, after (maybe while) the call ends. Does anyone know what's up with this? I use AT&T, no data plan. Was thinking something is wrong with my config, I have since then gone back to the latest stock rom, and I don't seem to experience this on 6.1 (I've tried Da_G's Clean Fuze 6.1 verison to see). Thanks!

Battery problem after upgrading to WM6 (2.23 RWE)

I have upgraded my device for about 3 month ago with a WM6 pre-release from Palm. Everything worked fine, but (and of course) I was waiting for the official release. When I found the link in this forum (Generic Rest-of-world - English
http://palmone.r3h.net/downloads.pal...topUpdater.zip ) I had downloaded it and flashed my 750.
Unlike a lot of people the upgrading process was perfect. Now my software on TREO750-2.23-RWE and the Firmware on 1.54.00.00.
I have only on big problem: the operating time (standby and in call also) was dramatically decreased. Broadly speaking it was halved. And of course my calling habit does not change.
Is there anybody who was found the same thing?
Thanks.
I am having the exact same problem. Battery life is absolutely miserable with 2.23 ROW.
I have considered flashing to this ROM. I will probably try it this weekend....

I think I will give it a try also! Than I will write down my impressions.
How Bad is Bad?
I have upgraded to WM6 and mine still lasts for about 9 hours or so. What are you getting? (I'm a heavy internet, email, and text message user as well.)

Any luck? I actually have not made the jump from this ROM. My girlfriend is using the phone. We probably had time this weekend, but things just kept coming up. Maybe next weekend...
FWIW, my battery life/use actullay IMPROVED after upgrading to the 2.23 Unbranded ROM. (Using an AT&T 750, upgraded from out of the box WM5 Rom. With XpressMail push enabled)

Hmmm. It's strange, because I think it is not a hardware issue. (or the AT&T 750 different modell -has minor changes- than the unbraded ones?)
Nope. I have not enough time for it on the weekend.
Bear in mind you are now "true" 3g. Even with the HSDPA hack in WM5 you still didn't achieve "true" 3g (or 3.5 g depending on your school of thought). So now that you are sending those 3g packets you will be using up more battery life. With that said, depending on your voice usage and how consistently you are connected to 3g, you should still get about a business day out of your 750.
Cheers!

As I wrote it above I have used a pre-release WM6 on my Treo of course with 3G (HSDPA). So it is not the case.

Strange issue that just started

Im starting to get highly upset here. This just started and I dont seem to know why and havent been able to find a fix. When I have any version of WM6 on my phone, my MMS pictures are being automatically resized. When I load the Standard Cingular 2.25 WM5 version, they come in fine.
Any ideas or do I need to stick with WM5?
Maybe try this?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1505432#post1555404
That cant be the problem. Im on cingular and have never changed those reg entries.
I used to get that too (and same way, it just started). Someone pointed me to this cab and I've used it ever since and never had an mms resizing problem since (and its been about 10 months now)
Oh, and one more... In the Kaiser forums some have had this issue, and they claim this cab fixes their issue (I haven't tried it or even pulled it apart since I haven't had the problem again, but have kept it in case I start having issues on my Tilt)
Ive been working with your kitchen as of recently. Since you got some of the bugs my current one did. I saw it with my current one and yours also, so im gonna take it thaty this may have fixed the issue lol

Missing calls/texts!?

Since putting on the latest TNT touchflo rom on my 8125, I have been missing calls and text messages. I am being billed for the texts and the people calling me ring through to voicemail, much like I heard my phone but chose not to care about it ringing, which is totally not the case.
Service is AT&T in upstate NY. Anybody else having these issues/know what is causing it?
Can I somehow blame the iPhone or Apple in general?
change to this radio 2.19.11
Thank you kind sir. I will report effectiveness tomorrow!
update to wm6.1
flash your phone with amp wm 6.1 version 2 pro rom and radio 2.71.11.i dont thinks so you would get miss sms or missed call issue.somehow i had missed call issue with tnt edition rom as well.good luck.

yeah. im using the TNT edition but no calls come through when I'm using the 2.71.11 radio but 2.19.11 works fine...
but your running amp wm6.1 with what radio rom?
missing calls
for 1,5 year i am using radion 2.19.11 with many roms T-Mobile WM5 czech rom, WM6 Crossbow, XMr6, TNT 19199 V2 prof (now) and i have all the time few missing calls. Someone is calling to me and wizard acts like on nosignal even it has signal. On tnt 19199 (for the first time) i can also report two missing sms which was marked as delivered but i have never get it. So i do not think that 2.19.11 is good choose but i would like to know which one is good? i think that it depends on gsm signal protocol one radio is good for american countries but not good for european, so you just have to try
right now my radio is 2.71 and my rom is amp 6.1 version 2 professional.wm 6.1 build 19521 is also very nice build...wm6 has weird miss call issue with some radios but i havent got any missed call or missed sms issue with wm 6.1 yet with any radio.of couse if i am not downloading something from internet....knock to wood lol
I switched to the latest SNN Full rom, and put on the radio rom... everything is perfect now.
I, too, am having this problem. One quick question though; after downloading and changing the radio to 2.19.11, will I have to reflash the TNT ROM that I am using, or will it just change my radio from 2.25.11 to the new one?
no you dont need to reflash tnt rom.just flash your radio 2.19.that s all.good luck
2.19 is acting really weird. can you guys post up links?
Well, I installed radio 2.19 and so far so good. I've recieved all phone calls and texts, that I know of. I guess I will find out in the next couple of days if it has actually solved my problem.
BTW, thanks for the link!
Hard Reset?
Do you have to hard reset after installing the radio ROM? I used Shelltool to load it but after a soft reset it still is at 2.25. Maybe shelltool doesn't work on radio roms? I using a locked G4.
Just download the ROM from the link, unzip the files and do the install as if you were flashing a new ROM to your phone. That's what worked for me.
Im using 2.71.11 and so far no problem. Just install it as you flash rom and it should work then.

I had that same problem when i tried to downgrade to 1.19.
I cant remember if it worked after a couple of soft resets, or if
I flashed it again.
Solution..for most
From what I have gathered, missed calls, texts, and delayed voicemail comes from EDGE/GPRS being active at the time. Test it for yourself. MOST missed calls aren't show if data is active. I didn't have this problem with wm5. It only happens if I'm using a wm6 or wm6.1 rom. For me, 2.19.11 radio works the best. But the radio version doesn't seem to matter(much at least). My solution was to use a program to automatically disconnect gprs after a certain amount of time. GB-SOFT works well and is free. Please post if this doesn't work for you...
I had the same problem with all previous 6.1 versions but the SNN version http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386668
works great. (not sure why but who cares....)
I'm on T-mobile using radio 2.71.

VOX's Radio getting restarted very frequently

Hi Guys,
I am having a strangle problem with my VOX. The phone's radio is getting turned off every now and then.
The phone will show full network signal and the very next second the signal bar becomes empty followed by an automatic turn off and turn on of the phone's radio. Sometimes it keeps on restarting the phone's radio for 5 to 6 times. It is driving me crazy as most of the time when someone calls me, my phone is in the switch off mode and I never realize that unless I am staring at my phone. And it is happening at least once or twice an hour.
I upgraded my phone to the latest ROM version 1.34.405.1 but still getting the problem. Actually I feel the problem has become worst now after the upgrade.
Any thoughts on what could be causing it?
Thanks!
that doesn't sound familiar
did you try with the original radio version too?
What radio version do you have? There are updates on the ftp! ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Smartphone/Vox/Radios
The radio version I have is Radio 4.1.13.54_03.10.90.
I had the same issue (not so frequent) with my previous radio also. I guess it was 4.1.13.41. That came with the phone when I bought it.
But one thing I noticed; when I am in the office I am not encountering this issue (at least not for the last 8 hours) but when I am at home, this issue appears very frequently. Wondering whether there could be any network parameter trigerring this behavior.
maybe its the networks issue
you should try to compare the readings you get from the service menu at the office and at home, and give them a call
>>you should try to compare the readings you get from the service menu at the office and at home, and give them a call
What reading are you talking about? Also, how can I collect that?
Thanks again for all your thoughts.
he means that you should check the network strength at your workplace and your home.
Hi Guys;
Slightly OT, but hopefully someone can help.
I have recently upgraded the GF from a Nokia 6230i (about 2 years old) to a Orange E650 (Vox) running Dr Martin Gonzo's ROM, which is very nice... The E650 was a refurb that i bought from the Orange Store on ebay.
The issue is that reception at home is far worse than it was on the nokia - and is almost unusable at home... I did a check last night and the radio installed is a very old radio (doesn't appear on the FTP..)
Can anyone suggest what is the best Radio to use that will work with Dr Gonzo's ROM? (and is it a simple job to upgrade )
Cheers

I am using Radio 4.1.13.54_03.10.90 on win 6.1 from Dr Gonzo. I works like a charm.

Same problem, even with all Radios all ROMs....
Goes to searching mode all the time...i don´t know what to do...my unit is still on warranty period...can i do something ?
HELP !
My issue seems to be network related. As I mentioned in my earlier post, I am encountering this issue only when I am at home and everywhere outside the phone is working nicely.
It is kind of making me think whether the network reception capability of the phone has gone down slightly and hence the no network issue when the network is slightly weak.

Nobody there...

Hello everyone,
I have the latest AT&T 6.1 ROM, downloaded from the HTC site for the Tilt. Here's a couple of problems that I have, that I can't get search results for.
1. VERY often, when a person calls me and I answer, I can't hear anyone on the other end! The same results when I make an outbound call as well. The device says that I'm connected to the other party, but I can't hear that.
2. When I AM actively connected, VERY often my bluetooth headset will just DECIDE to disconnect! Now, the DEVICE is still connected, but I have to either quickly put it to my ear to not miss what the other party is saying, or, I've noticed that if I push the multifunction button on the earpiece (Jawbone), it will reconnect.
Any help with these two issues would be appreciated. This has ONLY begun since I've installed the newest AT&T 6.1 ROM, which is supposed to be for the Tilt... which I have.
I'm REALLY frustrated...
Maybe try the original 6.0 rom and see if it still happens. If it does, and your phone is under a year, I would definitely send your phone in for warranty.
Jason
i have 3 words for you,
1-radio
2-radio
3-radio..................
try changing your radio and see if the problem persists, but i smell a radio problem behind all of this

Without a doubt an issue with your radio version. I had the same issues when I switched from WM6 to 6.1 - turned out my radio only worked w/ version 6 and caused my phone to only work half of the time.

You are Switching from a 6.0 to 6.1...it probably is a radio issue...just go to the ultimate radio thread in my signature and download a 6.1 radio and try it....it will only take a few seconds
the stock wm6.1 at&t rom that he loaded comes with a functional radio made for that rom so unless he flashed a radio that is for wm6 after he updated then yes its the radio
looks like Radio problem.. but if you install the ATT official rom you have allready one for 6.1 windows.. Like already say MSD24200
but try one from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=393182
i prefer the 1.65.24.36 NIKI Radio
you must select one of 1.65.xx.xx or 1.70.xx.xx
Comm Manager?

Bob,
I using the eOS 4.888 ROM on AT&T and I have the "silent call" issue too. It seems to have come up only in the past month or so. I'm on my 4th radio, currently a Polaris 1.59.42.23. The Polaris Radio seems to make the problem less frequent, but it is still there. My first though was this is an AT&T issue but there is a thread in the Kaiser General section about this, and posts in the Ultimate Radio thread that indicate the issue is occurring outside of the AT&T network as well.
The issue has been blamed on radios, ROM, and bluetooth, but in my experience with it, I'm thinking it might be Comm Manager related, but I don't know enough to know how the Comm Manager interacts with the radio/ROM to really be helpful.
I do know that the person who figures out the answer to this problem will make quite a few folks on this board very happy!!

Same Issue
I am having the same issue. I have the official 6.1 ROM from HTC on the att tilt. I flashed it on a friday and did not notice issues with not hearing the person on the other end when connected until a few days later. I looked at the ultimate radio thread according to that, I have the correct radio for my rom version:
ROM version: 3.57.502.2 WWE
ROM date: 07/17/08
Radio version: 1.65.21.18
Protocol version: 25.88.40.05H
Could it still be a radio issue? Or something else?

It is not Comm mgr related as I have tried several to no avail, Also several 6.1 roms and several radios . No luck.
Hopefully a mod can combine this thread with this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=438457 so we can all work on this together.
Can't hear other party......
Did anyone find a solution to this yet? I have flashed all the compatable rabios with the tilt running the official wm6.1 from htc. And I am still making and receiving calls with not being able to hear the other party(as well as them not being able to hear me).
The main function of the tilt is a PHONE!
Hard reset after flash maybe?

It has to do with 6.1 . We are trying to pool all our information on one thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=438457
Nika has reflashed to a 6.0 rom, and that appears to have eliminated the problem.
Again, if a Mod could merge these threads, we could all work togther on this.
Thanks.

If it is not radio, then it is a connection issue with your USB port. I had this happen to me and frustrated the heck out of me until I discovered that the tether that is inside the USB port on the device was loose, as if it was cracked. I must have done that while jabbing the stylus in it without using my glasses to soft reset. I discovered the issue by accident when the phone was plugged to be charged and i received a phone call. every time i wiggled the phone the conversation sound would get muted or interrupted. I ended up returning the Tilt to AT&T as a defective device and got a refurbished one that works. Test it and let us know.
