I had my hands on Palm Treo 800w. It shows the date and time in large letters when the phone is locked (like some mobile phones). this done by having the text showing with the backlight off.
anyway, I like the idea of having the clock and time with the backlight off. this means I can pull the phone out and tell the time without having to turn on the phone. is there anyway of doing that on the Treo 750?

As like Treo Pro on displaying Time and Date while at screen off mode, can it be applied on Treo 750V as well?.

I two would like this.
I doubt this is possible.. ..the Treo Pro has the time screen when the device is in standby. The 750's screen is turned off completly in stanbye mode. I can imagine a program that shows the time during standbye by keeping the device alive all the time.
The result would be that the Treo 750 is drained even more. Now who could live with that?
So I'm just about ready to start pulling out my hair on this one...
Treo turns on and shows Palm logo and loading bar, it reaches the end then stays there until the battery runs out!
Tried hard reset, does nothing....
Tried putting the 6.1 image on an sd card and booting with that in but does not do anything. Also after putting the sd card in the treo then back into my laptop it cannot read it.
Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

Do you repair your Treo? i have exactly the same prob, stuck on Palm logo, loading bar cames to finally and never finish starting, and battery goes off. Any suggestion??????????
oh my head hurts from this. manager came in saying that his imate jamin is not working .. typical managers. it turns on but stays at the htc innovations boot screen.
tried the original shipped ROM but comes up with Error 260: Update Error. USB ok as there's a orange charge light and shows up on bottom left of tri colour screen. tried on a couple of different pc both running xp pro sp3. i've wiki, searched, did resets, etc but still no go.
i just get the following at the tri colour screen

spl 2.13

My Treo 800w was acting a bit strangely (Bluetooth not working in car, text messages coming through as number instead of name, etc.), so I pulled the battery out to reboot it, and now it won't boot back up. The palm splash screen shows up, and the bar at the bottom gets about 1/4 of the way through and then it just freezes! I don't know what else to try except a hard reset, but really don't want to do that because I have a lot of data on the Treo that I don't want to lose. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there any way to dump the data somehow? Any ideas are welcome!!
