Dear All,
As like Treo Pro on displaying Time and Date while at screen off mode, can it be applied on Treo 750V as well?.
i'm interesting with this menu. Could anyone give me link for that kind of software?

I two would like this.
I doubt this is possible.. ..the Treo Pro has the time screen when the device is in standby. The 750's screen is turned off completly in stanbye mode. I can imagine a program that shows the time during standbye by keeping the device alive all the time.
The result would be that the Treo 750 is drained even more. Now who could live with that?

after flashing with the new ATT wm6 all works fine except the screen backlight keps coming on, even after pressing the screen off button it comes back on after a few secs.

i had the same problem
u cent stop it by turning your screen brightnes to 50% or above (using palm bult in brightness program (press function button (the white spot) + "P" ))

My Voda WM6 works fine with backlight set to 40%
Sigh...I should have come here to see the solution first before I hard reset my phone.
I got the same problem, but I perform a hard reset to resolve it.
Guys I posted this on another thread here but I thought I'd mention it here as well just in case you guys can help me out.
I have my Treo 750v to connect to the net and check for emails every 30 minutes but whenever it does, the screen comes on!
Is there anyway I can get around this?
I would appreciate any help.

Stupid as it sounds, this does appear to be a bug in the Treo WM6 update. It's still there in 2.23 VF as well. If you have Keyguard set to kick in at screen off and you set the brightness to anything other than 20% or 60% (at least for me) then the screen keeps turning on and often won't turn off after the 1 minute timeout. Got mine at 60% and its fine.
I had my hands on Palm Treo 800w. It shows the date and time in large letters when the phone is locked (like some mobile phones). this done by having the text showing with the backlight off.
anyway, I like the idea of having the clock and time with the backlight off. this means I can pull the phone out and tell the time without having to turn on the phone. is there anyway of doing that on the Treo 750?

I have got a topaz and a blackstone with WM 6.1
I start a phone call, and when I put both my phones close to my ear, the phones screen blanks, become black.
I dislike this behavior but I cannot find the proper settings or instructions on how to disable it. Can you please help?

I have to point out the the "phone screen blanking" did not happen in other wm 6.x devices I owned in the past, like Diamond and kaiser

Hi,
since some days, I have a problem with my Treo 750 (WM6). When I turn on the screen I can only see vertical stripes. I have to turn on and off many times till screen is working normal. Have tried soft and hardreset.

Sounds like a bad connection on your lcd screen, or the video is going out.

My secondary phone is a HTC TyTN II. It's running Shifu V4.3 Windows 6.5 Custom ROM with Hard-SPL 3.49 and Radio Version 1.70.19.09. Recently, my phone's screen turned white and didn't go no matter how many times I soft-reset or hard-reset it . It happens when the phone is idle for long periods of time, like perhaps 3-4 hours. It also happens when I download 2-3 apps simultaneously from Windows Marketplace. When I do so, random multi-coloured lines appear all over the screen and then it turns completely white. I still hear the sounds when I slide out the keyboard or when I tap on the screen. Could someone please help me out? I really love this phone and I don't want to leave it in this state. I tried searching the forums for anything related to this, but unfortunately, couldn't find any thread or post that was helpful
