Hi Everyone,
I try to install WM6 on my Qtek S200.. But it goes wrong.
If i try to start my Qtek, he freeze the screen on the "HTC, Smart Mobility" screen and shows only the version information.

In this forum I saw the follow solution:
Connect USB Cable. Go in the Boot Loader screen (Hold down camera button, power button and soft reset until the 3 colours display appear). Run Rom upgrade Software.

Before I post this thread, I give that a try. But that is not a solution, I see a wonderful 3 colour screen. And if i start-up the Rom Upgrading Software (RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe) he said that there is no connection with my PDA.
Anybody?

j'ai eu le meme probleme et apres avoir installé la derniere version activsync et reflash cela à fonctionné.

Do you have ActiveSync version 4.5 if is not install first and then reflash.
Note: When is appering the 3 colours do you have USB in the left corner?

No, I have ActiveSync version 4.1. Where can I download version 4.5, on the website from Microsoft?.
When I connect my phone, my computer reconize my PDA as a USB device. But the upgrade software and ActiveSync don't do that.
Now I use ActiveSync 4.5, the official download from microsoft.com and there is no connection possible. Yes I see USB in mine left corner.

If you have activeSync 4.5 and have the USB in mine left, now you can reflash again, i sugest you reflash to a WM5 and then a WM6 if you wanted.

My S200 doesn't work. Why?
Because:
1-I had a version of OS - 2.13.9.26 (versao em Portugues)
2-I update for AKU 3.2 ( PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3231)
3-Tried to unlock ( lokiwiz03a)
4-S200 doesn't work well, didn't receive calls (only rings when I choose Start> Phone), it was impossible saw the contacts, etc. So I tried install AKU 2.3 (2006-11-12_Prophet_WM5AKU2.3_lvsw_edition);
5-The instalation was longer than 30 min, so I restarted.
Now, the phone doesn't start the OS. Stay on "bios" stage:
IPL - 2.09.0001
SPL - 2.13.0001
GSM- 02.30.21
OS - 2.15.13.27
I just tried:
-(2 buttons + restart + Dial button) - for factory default
-restart
What I do now? It's impossible to install another ROM...

-go into bootloader mode (hold camera button and press reset)
-upgrade to the latest Dopod ROM ftp://xda:[email protected]_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID.zip (you MUST do this before upgrading to AKU 2.3 or 3.2)
-upgrade to AKU 2.3 or 3.2
2.3 is more stable... but 3.2 has more features

But it's impossible install other ROM. I can't connect S200 with PC by ActiveSync. I had try all the combinations that I knew to restart, but... nothing.
I think that when I did the first Update, to version 3.2, I didn't make the HARD RESET, I madden a normal reset. And I think, that these is the reason for the message: "ActiveSync can't syncronized with your device, please free memory, or restart your device".
How I do for connect the device to my PC? If I don't connect my device with PC it's impossible install anything.

Yes, u don't need activesync as long as the USB is detected when you plug it into the device.

this guy is my dear friend, he's got a G4 device, and has flashed the wrong wm6 rom on his device, and successfully broke it!

Did you read all the instructions before flashing the device?
Try to get into the 3 color screen and reflash with an official ROM.

I've tried to upgrade my s200 (G4) with AKU 3.3.13 ASerg. Unfortunately I aborted the connection, because I thought the upgrade was successful after 20 min. Now I have first screen page on s200 only (OS 3.0.0.0) without any connection to PC(
Any idea what I have to do?
You should first disable "Allow USB-connection" in ActiveSync. Connect your S200 in bootloader mode (press camera-button and soft-reset with stylus) to your PC, then you can run the Rom update again.

I've XDA neo ,and it's Rom version is old and german one , I want to update using AKU 3.3.13
I start it , but it lasted more than 40 minutes without any result , so I disconnect the pda , and restarted it ,but it stopeed at O2 screen ,the first screen at all ,where typed :

SPL 2.15.0001
GSM 02.19.21
OS 3.0.0.0
I don't know what to do now ,plz help me to solve this problem

What ROM (the update) where you trying to isntall? Was it an official one, or a cooked ROM?
Try to enter bootloader (the three colour screen) bu pressing and holding the com manager button and performing a soft reset.
If this works, download the latest version of active sync and install it, and once that has completed, restart your computer.
Download a WM5 NVID (No Vendor ID) ROM from here and unpack/unzip it into the root of a harddrive (i.e.: C:\WM5ROM\).
Now, put the device in bootloader mode, and within ActiveSync DISABLE connect through USB (Tools->Connection Settings->Uncheck Allow Connect through USB) and plug the device into the computer.
Now run the RUU from the WM5 ROM you downloaded earlier.
Your device should now work.

to repair it should follow the instructions below
Code:
1. Make sure your i-mate™ K-JAM is not Connected to the PC and remove the dummy card or SD/MMC card
2. On your Desktop PC, open Microsoft ActiveSync, then go to File >Connection Settings >Remove the Selection from “Allow USB Connection with this desktop computer”
3. Reconnect your i-mate K-JAM to the Desktop PC using the USB Cradle and the Charger MUST be Connected to the Cradle (Don’t use the IrDA or Bluetooth for the Upgrade)
4. Run the Upgrade again and it will work fine without any problems.
While upgrading, the ActiveSync program will not go on, however the upgrade is running.
