Hello,
My S200 doesn't work. Why?
Because:
1-I had a version of OS - 2.13.9.26 (versao em Portugues)
2-I update for AKU 3.2 ( PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3231)
3-Tried to unlock ( lokiwiz03a)
4-S200 doesn't work well, didn't receive calls (only rings when I choose Start> Phone), it was impossible saw the contacts, etc. So I tried install AKU 2.3 (2006-11-12_Prophet_WM5AKU2.3_lvsw_edition);
5-The instalation was longer than 30 min, so I restarted.
Now, the phone doesn't start the OS. Stay on "bios" stage:
IPL - 2.09.0001
SPL - 2.13.0001
GSM- 02.30.21
OS - 2.15.13.27
I just tried:
-(2 buttons + restart + Dial button) - for factory default
-restart
What I do now? It's impossible to install another ROM...

-go into bootloader mode (hold camera button and press reset)
-upgrade to the latest Dopod ROM ftp://xda:[email protected]_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID.zip (you MUST do this before upgrading to AKU 2.3 or 3.2)
-upgrade to AKU 2.3 or 3.2
2.3 is more stable... but 3.2 has more features

But it's impossible install other ROM. I can't connect S200 with PC by ActiveSync. I had try all the combinations that I knew to restart, but... nothing.
I think that when I did the first Update, to version 3.2, I didn't make the HARD RESET, I madden a normal reset. And I think, that these is the reason for the message: "ActiveSync can't syncronized with your device, please free memory, or restart your device".
How I do for connect the device to my PC? If I don't connect my device with PC it's impossible install anything.

while in bootloader mode (color bars) connect usb cable then run original dopod rom installer from desktop. it should work

Yes, u don't need activesync as long as the USB is detected when you plug it into the device.

My S200 after upgrade to WM6 can't load windows
Hang in the blue page (Qtek) before load windows
can i reloade WM5 on my 200? How?

this guy is my dear friend, he's got a G4 device, and has flashed the wrong wm6 rom on his device, and successfully broke it!
any solution/remedies would be extremely appreciated

Did you read all the instructions before flashing the device?
Try to get into the 3 color screen and reflash with an official ROM.

if install this rom so upgrade that to WM6 have problem?

wizard g3 stuck in bootloader screen

hello everyone. i just bought a g3 wich remains stuck in the ipl/spl screen. i tried VIPPIE 's tutorial (many thanks man for ur work) and flash button rom 1.05 to revive the phone. it flashed without any error , but same result. phone doesnt pass the ipl/spl screen. next i tried to flash Xda_MiniS_LaunchROM_v154102, flashed ok but nothing happend. i m just stuck on the ipl/spl screen. the phone isnt bricked but i can not start it to do a soft spl and flash it. any ideas ?
because it s an o2 xda mini s , i thought an original o2 rom would do the trick (start the phone) but i couldnt find an original rom (tried the xda dev ftp page and the o2 one).

same happend to me once. Go online and finde botton run , update utility 2.00.1
go step by step:
Disconnect your phone from the usb cable,disable any Firewall and Anti virus and reboot your Pc.
1. Make sure your phone is not Connected to the PC and remove the dummy card or SD/MMC card
2. On your Desktop PC, open Microsoft ActiveSync, then go to File >Connection Settings >Remove the Selection from “Allow USB Connection with this desktop computer”
3. Reconnect your phone to the Desktop PC using the USB Cradle and the Charger MUST be Connected to the Cradle (Don’t Bluetooth for the Upgrade)
4. When you see usb appear at the bottom of bootloader screen
5. Run the Upgrade again and it will work fine without any problems.
While upgrading, the ActiveSync program will not go on, however the upgrade is running.
After then, install origial ROM. (u can try T-Mobile MDA Software Version (2.26.10.2) )

USB Device not Recognized

i just purchased a CINGULAR 8125 but when i tried to sync it with my pc this error appears
"USB Device not Recognized. One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it."
i tried to sync my pda with 2 different pc's but same error...can anybody help me is this a hardware fault or software? and how to solve this problem ..

i did.....with 2 different cables...on 2 different pc's...
by the way if i m not wrong i can use simple mini usb cable to connect the pda with pc...or theres some special cable for cingular 8125?
and yeah is there any way to know if my phone is CID LOCKED or not?

I'm using normla miniUSB cable with no problem. But I had miniUSB cable to my BT GPS, and it won't run with wizard.

Did you install ActiveSync?
A normal MiniUSB-cabel should work!
Try to use WST (you will find it here somewhere). You can test if USB-communication works and if it does you can also check if your device is cid-locked or not.

That is not true!!!
If you unlock your G3 Wizard the IPL/SPL does not change! But you can see if you have a G3, a G4 or a G4 with HardSPL. G4 is never CID-Unlocked. Only a G3 can be unlocked and you will not know by watching the bootloader.

please reinstall activesync, i've seen same problem, but when i reinstall, allthing is ok try again!

well, i mean only hardspl you can see from bootloader... But, i think, wizard service tool can show cid lock ( wst )

try to flash my wizard, when finished, everything seemed fine, but when you restart the wizard, just lay onthe screen, and I can not flash it because my computer otraavez appears as ync pocketpc usb, and I think the htc programs detect it as Deven , I could do to revive it?
