Hey guys, i was upgrading the new NEW LvsW Edition: RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721 (AKU2.3) when I got stuck in the process of upgrading in the Dos screen. I had to restart my device. After that it would not load after the splash screen. I did a reset again and tried to upgrade to the Original WWE Qtec rom. At 95% it stops and gives me an error that a newer NBF file is necessary. What do i do?

I am struggling with the same problem here. I can get it back to life with upgrading os gsm extensions only. But then i can not make phonecalls and not sync with active sync. Also during boor GSM version is not shown. I gave up i am going to send it back to the Oange repair centre in Holland

Is your set G3 or G4 and if G3 is it CID locked or Not?

try going to this ROM using the no ID utility upater I think it's in this folder
extract all the files in RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe to one folder and then replace the ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.zip to the olde folder, and then run it and update the ROM

Hi all,
yesterday, i thought it's a nice day to do the official german t-mobile 1.12 upgrade on my official german t-mobile mdac. It wasn't.
After the upgrade (no errors) the bootscreen shows:
no gsm, and only one Version number: 1.12.01 Ger
on the bottom line.
After it bootet, i get no gsm and no bluetooth working. When i connect by usb, active sync hangs for about 3-5 minutes. If i try to repeat the upgrade, i get something like wrong device, and it shows empty fields on the version screen. I tried to do the update by extracting the official update rar and start the update by MaUpgradeUT_noID.exe, but it says something like wrong device.
I tried this to the same with the 1.13 upgrade from the xda ftp, same thing. I tried a rombackup from sd-card that i found somewhere on the net, but the bootloader says wrong section=1 not allowed.
Is there anybody wo could help me to resurrect my poor little mdac?

Don't know how to solve all your problems with upgrading, but did you copy the first bytes of your own romdump to the downloaded rom? Otherwise your device won't accept it, you can find a lott about this in other threads. try searching for BigStorage and you will everything about rom upgrades.

Upgrade your device with the imate rom 1.12 wwe using MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe ,it should work ,then try to upgrade to the german rom upgrade.

Ok, i tried that big storage thing, i replaced the id in the new image from my backup (broken) rom, and when trying to upgrade from sd-card, i get Section = 1 not allowed update.
I'm trying to upgrade the radio stack from the bootloader screen with MaUpgradeUT.exe, but it seems that the usb port doesn't work: for 10 minutes, the update screen stands at 0%, then an error appears:
Radio Rom Update Error.. i should reset, reconnect and retry.
Any more ideas? Is there a possiblity to do the normal "online" update (not via bootlaoder/backup-image) just from sdcard?

Last night I did a BigStorage in a very easy way. I followed the description in the thread about upgrading to radio 1.13. You'll have to unzip the shipped rom, decode nk.nbf it with dnbf. Then you replace the usual bit pattern and encode nk.nb1 again. After that you can use maupgrade with or without the noid function like a regular apgrade.

Hello there, my JAMin is acting weird...
the screen calibration goes off every now and then and it's driving me crazy! so I decided to do a fresh ROM update.
I'm using the i-mate offical ROM and I have the file: JAMin_Arabic_213923_2139126_022021_ship.exe downloaded from i-mate site..but I keep getting Error 294: Invaild Vender ID!!
I didn't use any cooked ROM or anything!
tried to re download the ROM file, Updating from Boot Loader, Hard Reset..nothin works!
I want to re-install the ROM, maybe I can get rid of the screen calibration issue!!

simply,the rom you are trying to update does not have the same vendor id.you phone is cid locked,and that is the reason.try some other no vendor id rom.

so it has to work without unlocking, right?
Hello and good afternoon, I'm a beginner and i've read a whole lot and decided today i'd take the plung and upgrade my qtek9100 to wm6,current status of my phone=NOT WORKING(sorta).
Rom version = 1.1.7.5
Rom Date = 9/22/05
Radio version= 01.01.10
Protocol ver = 4.0.13.16
ExtROM Ver = 1.1.7.105
downloaded TNT 1437 Series Pro+home and i ran the upgrade (oh my phone was brought unlocked) all was going fine it went to 99% then exit with communication error, i followed the recovery info and tried again and again, then i tried 3 other ROMs and still the same error occurs, my phone is now stuck at the 3 color bars from the recovery process and it wont upgrade to wm6.. update i then downloaded XDA_Mobile_6_r2a_Lite and installed it and all went fine, the thing is this isnt a wm6 it's wm5 so i'm back to where i started.. can anyone please tell me what i've done wrong and how i should go about getting my phone upgraded to wm6, i actually want to use the TNT roms..

Wm6 Roms can only be upgraded if you have an IPL/SPL 2.xx,as I can see from your present Rom version 1.1.7.5,you must be having IPL/SPL 1.xx,therefore,it's not possible to upgrade to wm6,untill and unless you upgrade your phone to IPL/SPL 2.xx.
First flash T-mobile 2.26 to upgrade to 2.xx and then flash any wm6 rom.

be sure that unlock means both "cid and sim" unlock, because sometimes it is network unlocked only, you can use your device with different networks using different simcards, to flash a rom you need the device cid unlocked, read the guides

Are u sure your phone is CID unlocked? use the wizard service tool to be sure. U can download the t-mobile ROM here: http://www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade/ You need to have a t-mobile phone number. If u dont know any, PM me, and ill let u use mine, u dont have to pay, its just to make sure that ur a t-mobile customer.

XM6R2a is NOT wm5...if you "installed" it and you are still on wm5 then your phone is NOT cid unlocked which is probably what the communication error (302?) was trying to tell you in the first place. Follow the "how to flash a wizard" guides that are a sticky at the top of the forum.
Hey thanks to everyone who have been offering information, my progress so far, i've CID unlocked my phone and i reinstalled the pro+home wm6 and all is working, except i cant use my camera, cause i dont have enough memory as is replied by the os, i'm going to try the t-mobile updated as pointed out in a previous post.

So the problem i need to solve is the following. I have the S200 (bought in germany, so it's the O2 XDA NEO), and as soon as i bought it, as it was in german, i managed to flash it with a rom in English (1.5 years ago)
Now, i tried to flash it with a Touch rom (don't remember which. PDA VIET? maybe) and it didn't work and now i'm stuck at the bootload with the current message:
IPL 2.20.0001
SPL 2.20
I've tried several roms and some (apparently) flash but then get back to this bootload screen, others don't flash at all.
Anyone can help me then solving this? I'd like to install one of the Touch roms, if not possible just bring it back to life with any WM5 roms...

Search for an official WM5 ROM like from o2 or Qtek! Connect your Neo via USB to your PC and start the update process! That#s all to bring your device back to live!
Thanks for the quick reply, but i tried this already but it doesn't work as well. I did somehing to the SPL (i was doing it a bit blindfolded as i'm quite newbie in this) and i think that's why i cannot flash anything anymore, not sure.
Is it normal to have SPL 2.20 (no other digitis after the 20)?
ANd to bring it back to life, do i have to install one of the original roms? can't i simply install the Touch versions?

Try a really official WM5 ROM, like from o2 Germany! And when I correctly understand which Touch ROM you mean, it can't be used to recover your Phone!

from List of Available Original Shipped ROM Versions, and got Error [300]. This Update Utility cannot be used of your PDA. Get Newer Update utility.

No vendor ID. This was the only one that started the flashing process, but stopped at 80% with the error [326] This nbf cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please check your nbf file...

That means it is unlocked. Try the ROM I linked earlier just to get the device usable.
hi thanks for yor fast reply but i download the rom that you link and run it in 80 percent of flashing the new rom i have wait few minutes and in device the process bar become red after afew minutes it goes blue(green) and continue but again in 95 percent get red and after minutes i recive the eror that tell : ERROR [320~328] : INVALID COMMAND please chek your nbf file idont know what should i do

These errors seldom occur. However, if one of these errors occur, it could not be recovered and the device had to be sent back to the customer service center. In this case, you have to flash a new ROM code.

he i have wm6 on wizard 8125 and when my provider is at&t,,well i have 2 questions, On the boot where is says ISP:3.06 and SPL:306. how do i remove the t-mobile picture and all the programs that are for t-mobile?? and the 2nd question is when it does start up ther is an message which says "THE FILE "SDDAEMON" CANNOT BE OPENED. eITHER IT IS NOT SIGNED WITH A TRUSTED CERTIFICATE, OR ONE OF ITS COMPONENTS CANNOT BE FOUND." the last question is where do i get the "sddaemon: and "sddialer" also "wtcvpdf" from? because some of my programs from my program section wont open Thanks

ok,let me try to get it straight :-
1. Initially it was on at&tt Rom wm5,right ?
2. Did you try to upgrade to wm6 ? and flashed the T-mobile 2.26 Rom ?
3. Its not ipl/spl 3.06 but ipl/spl 3.08,which you must have gotten by flashing the IPL/SPL 3.08,right ?
well,T-mobile 2.26 is also a wm5 official rom and not a wm6 rom,therefore,by flashing an official t-mobile rom on your already at&tt official rom,has just changed the OS from At&tt to t-mobile OS,but certainly not to a wm6 Rom. That's why your load up screens and programs are of T-mobile.

How wud you explain this.....Provider At&TT....T-mobile Rom (OS).....Wm6 ?
I don't think T-mobile is offering any wm6 upgrades,atleast not to my knowledge.Care to update me ?
