I can hear A2DP mp3 music by bluetooth headset. - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Accessories

I have try many ways to use my Himalaya to play the A2DP music by bluetooth.
Finally I found that the i-tech R35 bt headset can do so. The sound is great.
I use the MSI-player to play the MP3 file and use the remote control to select the song.
I really love it. However, the only problem is that the R35 will not connect the phone while I dial out the no. without running the MSI-player in background. If someone can slove this problem. I think the i-tech R35 + Himalaya is a perfect match.

Transfer Sound to Buletooth Headset?

Only when you receive or make a call, the voice then, will be transferred to the buletooth headset. My question is: is it possible to active it at other time other than makeing call? Thus we can use our Voice Dial softwares and listen music from XDA II.
It only can transfer the voice during the phone call to BT headset. I think O2 need to modify the Bluetooth driver to support more function on BT section (like iPAQ PPC, compaq updated the BT Driver to support listen the music on BT Headset).
Hope can heard O2 to modify the BT driver very soon, otherwise my Bt headset for O2 is not very useful !
I think except voice command, there is no missing fuction for using BT headset right now, since the quality of the speaker is horrible for listen music.
I really don't know why everyone asking for listen MP3 with BT Headset with XDA2. Is that people really enjoy listen music with one ear and low qaulity?
The XDA II has the ability to automatically answer a call after a variable number of rings to be set. However, I believe that this option only functions with the headset plug installed and then probably the BT headset won't work. Or does anyone has another idea?
Is it possible to change the register, so you can automatically transfer the call without having the plug in?

Well some people would like to have audio via Bluetooth to be able to hear Tomtom navigator over the speakers ?
Also, the SPEAKER of the XDA might be bad, that doesn't mean the audio out is bad. With a good speaker or headset quality could be al lot better...
If you use the XDA Adaptor Jabra kit for the XDA1 in the earphone socket it works fine, but if you use the headset with the direct bluetooth connection, then it doesn't.
Bluetooth Music ?
I believe that the bandwith of a Bluetooth Audio connection is far to limited to support anything resembling HiFi, not much point in listening to MP3 music that way.
For TomTom, or my Korean Language MP3 tutorial files, it should be fine though.
Luckily, the speaker is far louder than on my IPAQ 5450 going on sale, so I don't really need external speaker for TomTom.

Michael

Obvious, your not useing any of the build-in BT functions are you .
You're just getting wired audio out from the XDA/MDA. You could do that with the XDA I also, i didn't buy and XDA II for that !

A2DP and audible player on tornado

I have an imate sp5m and I installed the A2DP fix and now windows media player works perfectly well with my spider bluetooth headphones.
But I tried audible player (audible.com, awesome service to listen to audiobooks on your cellphone) with A2DP and I can only hear sound in the left ear. Nothing in the right ear. Disappointing. Also, I was able to control windows media player from the bluetooth headphone controls, but that doesn't work at all with audible player (the software is now called audibleAir).
Any ideas on how I could fix this? Anyone got it to work?
Audible player on WM 5
HI, what ROM are you running?
I have an orange SPV C600 and installed AUdible player. It keeps giving me an authotication error when I try to run it as it cannot locate my "Hardware/Device ID". Did you ever come across any problems like this?
Thanks
Rob
no id/hardware issue for me
My ROM is the latest one:
ROM version: 2.0.8.0
Operator version: 2.6.331.2
I did not experience any problem with authentication for audible player. However, I did have to authorize my phone using the audible air software on the phone itself because it wouldn't work when I tried to authorize it from Audible manager on my PC.
I was able to hear the audio is stereo using bluecast but the quality is not great and I can't control the playback from the bluetooth headset. Still looking for a better solution.
Hi shaialud, is your ROM the Orange version? from the UK web site?
thanx
why it does not work
A2DP only supports mp3,wma, and maybe a couple of other formats. it is not an audible problem but a a2dp problem. Same issue on any a2dp device out htere.

Can Universal Supports Bluetooth headset, handsfree, A2DP and AVRCP profiles.

Can Universal Supports Bluetooth headset, handsfree, A2DP and AVRCP profiles. I tried to listen mp3 from my stereo BT headset but seems it can play any music. Somebody please help??
ok .. first off, i think you should have researched a bit before posting but anyway i wont drag much.. new roms have the a2dp profiles and all the functions you need should be working in them.. i suggest flashing to a recent wm6 rom like Kdskamal version .. im using it now and music over bluetooth works properly.

Get yourself an A2dp headset. Pair it to your device and you're done.

I have a BlueTrek G2 bluetooth-headset. I think I must install first a special driver (widcomm??) to hear music through this type of device.

No, you should not have to do this. A2DP works really well out of the box, I've paired it to 3 different A2DP devices issues. Do you have MS VoiceCommand installed? I have had conflicts with MS VoiceCommand and A2DP where after using VC no sound comes out from A2DP, but I haven't had the time to play around and figure what prompts the issue as it doesn't happen consistently.
EDIT: It wasn't MS VoiceCommand that was causing my issues. It was having the phone on vibrate. That stops sound from coming over A2DP, as does pressing the volume down button (duh, stupid me).
I just paired it, and it worked (Jabra BT620s.) Make sure you check the correct box for what feature to use when pairing.
does it work at samsung wep210 any setting need to change?
Hmmm... I can not make it work with my car stereo (Pioneer DEH-P75BT).
Anyone succeded in making it work with Pioneer car stereo DEH series?
P75BT just sits there and waits for connection, even if it is already connected and functional as handsfree device...

Handsfree and A2DP are two different things. The Bluetooth Handsfree profile is intended for making phone calls (speak). That's your old school lousy quality mono headset. The A2DP profile on the other hand has decent quality stereo streaming but is only supported by newer devices.
Are you sure your Pioneer supports the 'real' A2DP? And if it supports both, Handsfree and A2DP, make sure you select the right service when connecting.
Hmmm... here's quote from device's brochure:
Make calls and stream music via your Bluetooth CD Tuner - the DEH-P75BT supports both handsfree and audio profiles from your mobile phone.
But, good question is does music streaming support real A2DP... Wireless stereo might not be A2DP compatible...

stereo bluetooth problem

I've search for over two hours but it seems ive learned alot but i still cant find my problem the problem is that every time i connect to my car kit windows media starts working but then after i turn off my car and then turn it back on the music comes out of phone. So how can i make it play again on my stereo without reconnecting. i have elite rc3 rom and it has a2dp included.
I don't have the same exact problem you do, but I have a stereo bluetooth headset (Jabra BT8010 [awesome headset btw]) and if you don't wait for your bt to connect to your phone first before you fire up WMP OR connect while WMP is playing, it will freak out and do wierd stuff. For me it would either ignore my connection and play out the phone's speaker or play in my headset in mono mode in horrifyingly bad quality.
I hope that helps
