I have try many ways to use my Himalaya to play the A2DP music by bluetooth.
Finally I found that the i-tech R35 bt headset can do so. The sound is great.
I use the MSI-player to play the MP3 file and use the remote control to select the song.
I really love it. However, the only problem is that the R35 will not connect the phone while I dial out the no. without running the MSI-player in background. If someone can slove this problem. I think the i-tech R35 + Himalaya is a perfect match.
Hi
Ive got an SPV M2000 (XDA IIs, which im sure you know ), and want to listen to music through the bluetooth headset.
Ive seen and applied the patch for Bluetooth Stereo headsets, but this isnt a stereo headset, its just a bog standard bluetooth headset (Jabra BT200 to be precise).
Is it possible to use this to listen to Audio through Media Player?
cheers

Get yourself an A2dp headset. Pair it to your device and you're done.

I have a BlueTrek G2 bluetooth-headset. I think I must install first a special driver (widcomm??) to hear music through this type of device.

No, you should not have to do this. A2DP works really well out of the box, I've paired it to 3 different A2DP devices issues. Do you have MS VoiceCommand installed? I have had conflicts with MS VoiceCommand and A2DP where after using VC no sound comes out from A2DP, but I haven't had the time to play around and figure what prompts the issue as it doesn't happen consistently.
EDIT: It wasn't MS VoiceCommand that was causing my issues. It was having the phone on vibrate. That stops sound from coming over A2DP, as does pressing the volume down button (duh, stupid me).
I just paired it, and it worked (Jabra BT620s.) Make sure you check the correct box for what feature to use when pairing.
does it work at samsung wep210 any setting need to change?
Hmmm... I can not make it work with my car stereo (Pioneer DEH-P75BT).
Anyone succeded in making it work with Pioneer car stereo DEH series?
P75BT just sits there and waits for connection, even if it is already connected and functional as handsfree device...

Handsfree and A2DP are two different things. The Bluetooth Handsfree profile is intended for making phone calls (speak). That's your old school lousy quality mono headset. The A2DP profile on the other hand has decent quality stereo streaming but is only supported by newer devices.
Are you sure your Pioneer supports the 'real' A2DP? And if it supports both, Handsfree and A2DP, make sure you select the right service when connecting.
Hmmm... here's quote from device's brochure:
Make calls and stream music via your Bluetooth CD Tuner - the DEH-P75BT supports both handsfree and audio profiles from your mobile phone.
But, good question is does music streaming support real A2DP... Wireless stereo might not be A2DP compatible...
I have a Jabra BT135 headset.
It worked fine for all my previous phones. But in Vox, it only acts as a Hands-free for calls, doesn't play songs(doesn't act as a wireless stereo-the option is disabled for it in the comm. manager)
Can this be okayed somehow? plz help guyz!
What ROM are you using?
I found that on some ROMs (including the original HTC ROM) didn't like BT stereo headsets.
The best ROM I've found that works flawlessly, including automatic re-connection as a stereo headset (not just as a mono hands-free) is Frauhottelmanns WinMo 6.5 ROM here:

hope this helps.
