i have got I mate JAM which waz working perfectly and now its stuck at screen alignment not going forward thn white screen everytime i reset it stuck on the same place on alignment help me wht to do plz is it hardware or software problem ? or is is sensor cell problem its not catching the touch rightly ?

hey i think i hav a serious problem my touchpad is damaged or the screen has moved from its allignment theres a patch developed on ma screen which consists of small bubbles..
donno wats d problem but m desperate to install the new 2.03 rom so please experts can u all help me out wid this..
jus lemme know d solution...

I have a very simillar issue. Touchpad works fine for a while, but afert tapping keyboard a few times it goes misaligned. the difference is up to 5mm! after I callibrate it , it warks fine for a while tahan goes misaligned again. ? what is wrong with that thing?
i also have the same issue...do anybody know how to fix this??...

i had that problem too after change my covers.. but after 2 days its ok.. don't know what happened.. i read that if you clean the display with the Cloth of cleaning sunglasses with A bit of strength myabe it works..

i am very new to these things .. noob .. i hv got my hands on qtek 9000 and i plan on upgrading it to wm6 my device info is
R 1.03.00
G 42.36.p8
D 1.13.64 wwe
i request for a poll please.. to make it easy for me to decide ... i went thru wiki and i hv nearly understood how to flash my ppc.. bt i m stilling having jitters if i might mistakely brick my ppc..so help me in choosing the best rom for my ppc
p.s my ppc lcd panel is little loose .. my cousin is sure that the fault is in its ribbon the thing lcd is standing on ? when i rotate my screen it goes white bt then when i press power button two times it comes back again and colors are bit out too.. is their any one else facing this problem my ppc is roughly used ! coz of that lcd ribbon is damaged i presume ...i hv been ripped off ..bt their is nuthin i cod do except get it fixed
guide me if i am asking questions in wrong section !

so long as you are sensible you shouldnt harm your device by flashing, so my suggestion is to try all the most recent ones to find one to your liking.
With regards to the white screen, my Universal also had this problem and it was the LCD ribbon.

need urgent help......
recently my i went to goa and my touch pro got wet on a beach, as it was in the pocket.....
it hardly came in contact with water for 2-3 seconds.....
it was automatically switched off......i dried d phone n tried switching on.......nothin happened.......
searched on net........did hair dryer trick and subsequently put it for 30 hrs in rice and woaaooooo it switched on.....
bt my happiness was short lived as i realized touch screen was nt responding to any touches !!!!......all hardware bottons r working properly.......
i removed screen protector also and did soft resets as well.......bt no success....
i also went to align screen using short cut (vol up n centre button), but still no responses to touch .........
so ne suggestions...............afraid to do hard reset, as phone wil be stuck on align screen..........or shud i still hard reset using welcome.not......
P.S. - i m frm india and here touch pro r nt covered thru ne insurance or warranty.....so repair (expensive) s d only way out

Unfortunately, the only way to be sure its not a hardware failure would be to hard reset.
You may want to flash back to your stock ROM as well.
remember you can always flash from your SD card in bootloader mode.

Yes. I agree.
You should definitely hard reset it. And if it still doesn't work you'll have to repair it. Anyway...I don't think you want to get stuck with a non-touchscreen touch pro because you won't be able to use it the right way...

i used the welcome.not n hard reset it wth memory card inserted.......
bt still touch screen nt working..........
Hard resetting without memory card makes it stuck on align screen......
gav it fr repairing a week ago......HTC service guy told tht navigating panel (just below d pad) is shorted n damaged......he cudn't get d part till now n s still clueless on wen can he find d part n replace it....

ne idea on wht s d approx cost of navigating panel (all connections to touch screen go thru it).....
too mad n frustrated.....wthout my TP for more than 2 weeks now

Little bit of water from my gym water bottle. Device took over night to dry so that the screen started working, but the touch screen is not working. I don't know if it just needs more time to dry or what.
any update here besides replacement?
Don't want to bother with hard reset for many of the same reasons.

my lgp500 has automatically got sharp black lines on upper half of screen..
it is increasing day by day and getting new lines...
i hv installed fresh rom even not solving problem.
touch is working fine..

Maybe the screen's digitiser has gone bad. The service center for you I guess.
