I am having problems with upgrading my xda2 when i put the xda2 onto bootloader mode i get the serial come up and then connect to pc changes to usb the prob occurs when i luanch the progarm for upgrade and i get the probs of the usb words on screen go blank and after a while says the upgarde wasnt possible and the device didnt connect properly coudl you plse help me on the solution to this prob. I have doen upgrades b4
but nothing like this prob has occured before.Thanks in advance

my o2 neo not connecting to PC in bootloader mode.
My o2 neo got stucked on the o2 reset screen.After going through this forum i came to know that few others too had this problem, so i went ahead with flashing of rom (RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_ Ship.exe) as suggested. But i am having a problem connecting my o2 with my PC using activesync 4.1 as well as 4.5 as it is required for the process. I tried all the option for connecting in activesync, but it failed to connect. Pls help

my uni stuk at boot screen serial v 1.01 the serial word didnot change 2 usb my desktop pc tell me that usb device not recognized i try all method nothing just boot screen

I assume you have read the following 2 links? If not, read them now and follow the instructions very carefully.

I had the same problem as you, and was able to restore my Uni with a new ROM using the second link.
But the first problem is getting your PC to stop displaying "USB device not recognized", unfortunately this is quite difficult and I actually didn't manage to do it with my main PC! I had to use an old laptop with USB 1.1 and only then it worked fine, after installing Activesync 4.5.
Basically the Uni sucks full 500mA out of the USB port, so try unplugging ALL other USB devices from your PC first, and if that doesn't work then you will have to try another PC. Some work better than others, maybe you have an old laptop lying around which has at least USB 1.1, or could use a friends PC?
Don't bother hard resetting any more, in this state you can only do normal reset and enter bootloader mode. You will have to try combinations of this whilst plugging it into the PC, and also try different USB ports. Also try entering bootloader mode whilst the Uni is plugged into PC, and try without and plugging it in after.
If you manage to get the device recognized in device manager, and the display change to USB, then follow the instructions in the Wiki above and your device will be restored.
And make sure to flash a ROM that does not include a new IPL/SPL, that means don't use any network default WM5 ROM!!! I used Tomal's 8.0, I recommend that when flashing to recover your device.

I have exaclty the same problem with my jasjar. help!!! usb is not working .....and how can I find Tomals 8.0 ......
I tried updating my SPV M2000, the power cable come loose half way through and now all I get on the screen is Serial v2.07 on the screen.
It is dead when connected to the PC.
I am running 64bit Vista.
I have tried everything on this thread to get it working but nothing happens, it just won't connect to the device.
It also won't go into bootloader.

When I tried to connect the Device to Laptop using USB Cable, anything Doesnt happen. The Icon of Activesync on Laptop screen did not give response (no flashing showing ).
But The Battery Charging running well as long as the Cable connected.
Maybe there is any procedure that I Have not tried yet.. Please tell me..

My Device has just been format, becouse I cannot access to Windows at the time of Turn on device. Before the windows problem happen, I didnt find a connection failed ( always success evry time physical connection began), but after format the connection problem appears. The LT cannot detect device evry time the cable already plug in to LT.
Please give me more advice.

tommyx21.. If I did understand you correctly..You had a Windows problem on your Laptop then you reformate it... then your problem with not able to connect your LG to Laptops began isnt???
When you plug in your LG to your Laptop do you see any sign of been connected as USB device? Have you reinstall the ActiveSync.

I Hv format my LGKS20 device, not my LT Boss
for acouple time after format, i can see the sign with the" not recognize" notification (asking for driver). But After that My LGKs20 cannot be detected by LT anymore..
I hv tried to connect my device to PC, but it not given any change too...
I hv already tried to reinstall Actvesync and it given nothing...
any other suggestion boss? or maybe i must try to change my Connection cable with the new one..?
i upgraded to tomal's rom to give it a try, and it works great, problem is i can't remove the rom....mtty tool doesn't work cause everytime i connect to xp, vista don't matter about 10 cords it always say usb unrecongized and when i do the ruu...i get a error so i was going to try the mtty but i can't even connect the universal to the damn pc, in bootloader it goes from serial to usb when you connect that works, but u see it connect to the pc for like 2 secs then the usb unrecongizeable any help i'm tired of reading all these treads....thanks in advance
bty mtty tool only shows com1 and com2 no usb at all
I found out what it was, i had to go in to safe mode and when i plugged it back in i hurry up and stop the auto update, looked in device manager and there it was *** pocket usb sync **** before i couldn't see it now i followed the post on upgrading using vista no problems thanks!!
