I want to install New Charmer Rom available 2.6.2 from UK to have it in Enlgish but when I tried to install I get an error invalid Vendor ID.
Need help.
I presume you are doing the ROM upgrade via the official ROM update facility.
Anyway, for you case, you may need to do it 'unofficially' using aWizard to flash a Charmer old English ROM (available in the FTP is someone didn't delete it) and update it to the new ROM using the official one.
since i upgrade WM5 to Smart1 V1.3 i get error "Invalid Command"
and there is suggestion "These errors seldom occur. However, if one of these errors occur, it could not be recovered and the device had to be sent back to the customer service center. In this case, you have to flash a new ROM code."

You probably didn't do super cid. You now need to flash the original rom, supercid and install the rom you want.

Unfortunately, none of these rom is fine by me on all invalid vender id......

Hi i tried to upgrade my Magician to Cotullas WM 6 rom, but it can't get it work. So I tried to upgrade to a Qtek S100 NL rom and i also tried a TMOB NL Rom ( Cause my GER O2 Rom won't work). I used the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe for it but i still get the same error which i also had with Cotullas Rom.
