My QTEK S200 got a wrong rom, who can help me?

Hi, everyone.
I got a big problem, yesterday my QTEK S200 flashed to wrong rom, a latest 838 rom. The IRL is 2.17 now. Who can help me?

Qtek S200 is an HTC Prophet and Dopod 838 is an HTC Wizard. Obviously the device will not boot if you flash the wrong ROM.
Now, try to get into the boot loader (by press and hold the camera button while pluging the USB cable in), if its still alive of course, and reflash your phone with the correct ROM.

S200 dont boot

Hi everyone,
My qtek s200 dont boot, i just try hardreset, update rom in bootloader but nothing result..
Qtek stays in operator logo
IPL 2.10.0001
SPL 2.10.0001
GSM 02.69.21
OS 4.0.0.0
This happens because i was trying update rom to os 4.0.0.4 and there was a error during de instalation.
Then i try connecting again with activesync 4.5 but there was no conection.
now the qtek dont boot to operating system
Help me please.....

downgrade to wm5,upgrade to wm6,everything should work fine.

wich file?
how can i downgrade to wm5 without activesync?
by bootloader?
Wich file and where i find?

finally i ugprade to prophet 2.20.7.34 and my s200 is alive again...

i have tried again again end again, and now it's ok
note :
at the end of step 1, when s200 said "tap on screen" -> i have taped
after i have start step 2 as indicated in the tutorial

first you must conect pu s200 in bootloader mode (press camera button and make reset with your sylus pen- screen must appear three colors) then plug usb cable, then run the upgrade/downgrade rom
In the end the qtek reboot, install de apps and you must make software reset

I have the same problem here. I had the wm6 rom on my qtek s200, but my headset worked not fine with it. So i tried to downgrade to the aku 3 rom for my s200. It seems ok. But when i turned the pda on, id didn't go further that the qtek boot screen. I also could not get to the bootloader screen to update another rom. What can i do?

I read some forum but i don't read the same problem I've.
I've a imate jamin. Last sunday I installed a new rom made by Franlov (WM6.1 Clear). First i make a hardspl and installed the new rom. Well.
After i need install the original rom, but the problem now is:
Jamin KO.
Three color display and the red numbers:
IPL 2.13
SPL 2.13.0001
If I execute a romupdateutility G3, i've a error 300, invalid tool.
If I execute a romudateutility G4, i don't have error but i've the same display (three colors, etc)
I can't make a hardspl because the jamin doesn't run and msdos display says "any device connect".
CAn you help me?
I read it's possible downgrade ipl and spl making a force spl but the program i don't know if exist for jamin or s200.

I have the same problem! I cannot active sync as it does not connect to the device. So I cannot flash.

Hi guys..im a newbie..been there myself...Wat u need to do is download the wm5 original rom from http://www.v-dog.net/XDA/PVTemp.zip & unzip it to sum location of ur pc then connect ur device & wen the 3 color screen comes run the RUU Utility G4... Thats it ...u'll be back to WM5

We tried! The problem is that active sync as it does not connect to the device.That is the big problem ....

1. go to my guide, download PVtemp first ~~~~
2, force the prophet to bootloader mode, (how to? see my thread)
3. plug back to USB ( rear PC USB port please...)
4. if you see the "USB" on the left bottom Prophet screen, YOU ARE DONE!!!!
5. Flash PVtemp NOW .... delay is bad~~~~

have you tried to Hard Reset the unit after flashing to WM6.1?
You can try it by pressing CAMERA + COMM Button + Reset Button (for 3 seconds)

i'm very very stupid , i have installed my Magician 818 T-Mobile (Compat I) with phrophet.
so.. i can't use my magician anymore.
this is the information have changed

SPL 2.G4.4PDA
GSM 02.19.21
OS 5.2.19.48
Now.. I already download form www.t-mobile.com <--- WM5 for 818 compact I
but... i have problem then.
i extract the ROM file, copy MaUpgradeUt_NoID.exe into same folder, changes my 818 to bootloader mode, USB connected (but activesync can't connecting-of course)
Using MaUpgradeUt_NoID.exe it says error i try again and again and again and again.. but.. no result .
now my magician is totally cannot enter the OS , only stop at the Dopod Logo(not the OS logo).
pls help me...

Hey dude..bit more info might b nice...what error is it saying? connection error? or ROM error? or what?.. and if it's connection, what OS u running? you need special drivers for the Magician if you're running Vista..

Try unplugging you battery then plug it back - press power button - it will work but just until you press reset. And no more upgrades

hey dude this dopod logo is really an irritating prob u knw wat jus do a hard reset once n den try coz dopod logo take long long time to go n enter the boot loader mode..
so jus giv it a try i hope it works for u ..

hello guys! i have a WIZA200. i'm was flashing it to wizflo2d ROm. at 99% my PC suddenly rebooted. my MDA is stucked with the red,green,blue screen. with IPL 2.26 SPL 2.26. activesync cannot detect it. how can i revive my MDA? please help...
BTW, i'm using TNT's new released ROM when i was flashing it to WizFlo2D.

Hi,
No problem, be cool. Few months ago I had this problem and was solved.
Just connect the device with bootloader onscreen (RGB). You will see USB on bottom. Flash the official ROM.
After your device is stable, you can flash to any custom ROM.

Try starting in bootloader mode then flashing the Wizard Love rom using the included RUU, or failing that Mun's RUU (included with WizFlo).

You need to start the phone in bootloader mode without the usb cable plugged in, give it a few seconds, then plug the cable in.. wait for the USB icon to appear in the bottom left corner, then start your RUU. I've found that the order is very important when dealing with unflashable wizards.
I've unbricked my phone twice with this method.. You could flash Wizard Love to a loaf of bread if you could get the cable to stick in it.

I used this to recover a flash that died at 10%, when I couldnt even get the official rom to work, so hopefully it should help you.
