Widcomm Bluetooth Stack. Help Please!!!

Hi All,
Has anyone got the Widcomm stack working on the Magician (Jam etc)?
The 1.5.0.8 stack worked both under WM2003 and WM2003se on an MDAII but doesn't work on the magician.
Does the magician use a different bluetooth module ? Is it possible to adapt the registry?
Any help in getting this working, or any other solutions to get the magician connected to a BT Access point would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Martin
WIDCOMM STACK
I ALSO NEED THE WIDCOMM STACK FOR THE MAGICIAN
WHY DO THESES MANUFACTURERS ALWAYS COME UP WITH THE APPALLING ALTERNATIVE BLUETOOTH STACKS
DID NO ONE LEARN FROM THE XDA 2 !!
WIDCOMM IS GREAT EVEN ON THE HP 6340.
Working BlueSoleil BT Stack
I think this is what you're searching for...
It works for me.I'm using 1.13 radio, 1.13 Rom, no ExtRom.
It hasn't got 60 days evaulation, and added a Bluetooth switch to switch BlueSoleil Stack to MS Stack and vice versa, if you want to.
Try it and post the result...

The led does not work but bluetooth itself does. I have no led too, bluesoleil runs pretty ok for the things it must do.

I think the bluesoleil does not support the phone BT headset, only the stereo BT headset. That's not much good for a Pocket PC phone.

That is the Microsoft BT stack, when the Magician was on the drawing boards it was thought that the industry would go MS. Instead it went WIDCOMM.
The Magician could run WIDCOMM, but someone would have to write hardware drivers, and no one has. So no, it cannot be done. Too bad, the WIDCOMM works so well...
Thx
This file is 100% working fine with I-Mate JAM Black. Thx.
HyperMalac: ive tried that on my magician, but it wont work, it want me to configure the driver or something...
When installed, using BlueSoleil stack, a window pops up saying
"Your bluetooth device initialization fails! Do you want to configure it manually?"
If i select no it just shuts down and my blutooth is unusable.
If i select yes it wants me to select among a couple of options:
USB, BCSP, UART(H4)
and user defined, which forces me to select a dll, but i dont know which...
Ive tried all options and none works....
Help whit this is VERY MUCH appriciated!
EDIT: Now for which every reason, it worked, dunno what I did, but now I'll never switch back to MS stack!

How to remove ms bt stack?

hi,
I would remove ms bt stack before installing widcomm...
I removed the two registry keys just like explained in wiki.. but ms bt stack is still active..
I think this generates some conflict with widcomm...
is there a way to remove this ****ing ms bt stack?
thanks!!

Bluetooth Stack

New to HTC S710, upgraded from a faraday 2125.
My bluetooth doesn't work properly with my car. HTC support says it because the S710 has a new BT stack. Is there anyway to downgrade or change the stack?
The phone does pair, howerver I can't have a conversation.
I tried the latest OEM rom and well as Dr. 6.1 v1.1 and still no luck.
any suggestions?
no there is no way you can change the inbuilt stack.
have you tried contacting the carkit support to find out a way.
The carkit in built in from Infinit, is that what you mean?
I notice that some guys were able to change the stack on the blue angel, I was hpoing the same could be done here.
Any idea if that stack for the blue angel would work with this phone?

Change bluetooth stack

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the bt stack used in 6.1 back to the 6.0 one without downgrading to wm 6.0.
I have some strange problems with 6.1 and my bt car kit. With normal 6.1 stack my kaiser crashed after calling over bt. With 6.1 and jetware kaiser doesn't crash but I can't make outgoing calls over bt device.
With 6.0 I had none of these probs.
Hi,
I do have the same experience with my Vario 3 running WM 6.1 and the VW Premium Carkit which uses the rSap protocol...
Any solutions in the meantime with WM 6.1??
regards from berlin

Wm 6.5 and Widcomm stack BT

Are that incompatibles?
the BT of my wizard works only with Broadcomm Stack Bluetooth in WM5 or 6.1.
Now i've installed the favolous rom CR96 Touch HD Win 6.5;
Installing the Widcomm Stack BT too, the wizard restart continually.
It's necessary a hard reset to work.
exist some tricks?
Thx
Daniele

hard reset=losing all programs you have installed on a "fresh"ROM (in other words is like "cleaning" the ROM, on easy terms XD)
so i suggest you try reflashing the ROM, dont install the Broadcomm Stack Bluetooth (never worked on mine) and trye the bt normal connection...
Good luck
