Hello people,
Can anyone shed some light on which ROM is the most stable at the moment? What i mean is which version 1.22/1.31 and from which vendor seems to to be the most useable?
I currrently use the Imate 1.22 xxx with 1.08 Radio ROM on my XDA IIs which originally had the terrible 02 1.12 ROM. The Imate ROM seems very stable indeed, even with SPB Pocket Plus 2.5 installed.

It's a metter of preferance really i would say

But that said i using

cos i dont mind the bugs
its fast but wont charge my device
For audio
I think the best ROM for overall performance would be LsvW's 2.3.1.
But for bluetooth A2DP performance, i'm using qteks latest shipped release (AKU. 2.2) with the A2DP patch found in the extROM packed with above mentioned rom made by LsvW.
Works fine for me. Not changing anything untill WM6 is released.

THERE IS NO PERFECT SOLUTION!
Each version has it's own problems, try each one at your own risk.
I decided to stay with the "latest" official ones.
Plus there are no really big improuvements overall from AKU 2.3 to AKU 3.x.....
My opinion, anyway.
I am noob in windows mobile I have just switched from nokia n73 to HTC S710. Some people think it was not a good idea but anyhow. 4 days back I tried to upgrade my cousins gene but after applying HSPL it was dead. I asked a lot of people in gene subform how recover, in the end a Rom chef told me if I had bought phone this year then there is no solution to it. So finally I had to take it to HTC service centre and they have asked me to check after 5 days.
Now I have bought Vox myself so learning from past experience I am asking you guys first. I have read wikki though.
1) Which is the fastest but most stable rom? (Which does not have bugs)

Or Hikey's Rom tell me the version.
or someother.
2) From my information given Which USPL should I use 1.16 or 1.34 or 1.35 and also can I use them or will they brick my phone?

First you should decide whether you want WinMo 6.0 or 6.1. As far as I heard the ROMs with the new XIPs are faster. I would say the Neo ROMs are the fastest 6.0 ROMs. For 6.1 there isn't such a huge difference But my experience is that the 96 dpi ROMs are pretty fast, but they are by far not bug free. Otherwise you have to decide what software you need. Gonzo's ROM has everything in it, my Lite ROM is pretty much the same, just without some apps.
In the Wiki is a list of hopefully most ROMs.
For USPL the 1.16 is definately working, as it did for over a year now. I don't know if the newer ones have any advantages or not. If you go to the wiki and follow the guides carefully you should not brick your phone. Link is in my signature.
My SPL is 1.34.000 as I have seen from my bootloader information. So can I use 1.16.
Is Neo Rom .9 bug free, have you tried it also I have read few threads people saying Hikey's WM6.1 roms are stable but does not have his thread here. From my information given is stock rom for my current os available somewhere.
It is on the XDA-dev ftp. There are a couple of shipped ROMs.

Well not all speak chinese I am on WM 6.1 v1.0 by LeFab47 alias fireburned with new xip 20202. So far it is the best for me. I hope he gives a version without thirdpart applications.

Anybody try this on a Tilt yet?

was talking to parleyp on aim about it, he ripped it apart in a kitchen and got the build number.
This is a good old build. I installed it and had to flash another radio. It is fast and stable, but it is very similar to 3.34. I have no idea why HTC re-released it and now of all times. It has the exact same drivers as the previous ROM also.

yep 19212...actually the last official shipped was 19214...
I´m testing it, seems to run very well, gps faster.....
But I have an issue, cannot connect to wpa2-psk/tkip wifi networks, but to open/wep/wpa/AES and wpa2/AES with no problem.
It also doesn´t detect anymore the wifi network type, I have to manually select the authentication and encryption type, before flashing, it worked.
Any hints about how to solve this?
Possible its an older ROM that has been tweaked for improvements?

[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WZCSVC\Parameters]
DisableWPA whas set to 1 and it must be 0
Its an old release. I'm using it for like 6months back d, start when i bought my kaiser in Malaysia. the 3.34 version is much powerful compare with this version. much stable and the radio function make your camera and gps work faster and more stable.

if you have a tilt, you need to search for the tilt keyboard fix.

My TyTN II is running ROM 3.28.405.0 WWE. Started the upgrade and received this message: "ERROR [294]: INVALID VENDER ID. Please check your ugprade utility." Anyone else have this problem?
Please, can someone give some link for an official Rom WM 6.1 in english?

No such thing as a 6.1 official ROM for Wizard. It wasn't supported by HTC/Microsoft.
Try CR86 Touch HD 2.2, S.V.I-923[A4] ANGEL, or TNT.20273. All are very stable, and all are based on WM 6.1 (there is a 6.5 version available for the CR86 ROM, as well).

If i want to use Kaiser unlocker v2.0 than I need the 6.1 farmwere...
in my WM it is in 6.0 farmwere... how to upgrade the 6.1 and where to find this farmwere...?
Please clearify.. it would be greatly appriciated..

It's not personal. I just haven't tried these yet. I tried a 6.5 ROM last week that buggered my phone (not yours), and I just got my baby back up...I promise, you're next!

I'm locked into O2 in Ireland and the phone now seems to be operating grand especially after Cookies software. Do I need to install the Artemis Rom and what benefits might I get. There is no sign of an official update from o2.ie and I'm on 1.44 or something

i´m not sure that i understand what you mean! But i see no Problem to use Artemis ROM! I´m running on Artemis v10 Ger and it runs good!
