I was wondering;
is there a program what can show me my bluetooth headset connection (like GRPS connection bar)
Now there isn't anything where you can see if your headset is connected to my XDA II.
Isn't there a Today Screen item which shows the Bluetooth Headset status? My i-Mate has one which came pre-installed. It doesn't indicate when the device is out of range though - just whether the headset mode is enabled.

Anybody know of any today screen plugins that indicate if a bluetooth headset is currently connected? I tried the Wireless hack that shows the network/wifi/bluetooth status, but since bluetooth is always on even when the headset isnt actually connected, it doesn't help much.
Thanks in advance!
Hi all
I have my XDA connected to my parrot kit, when i enable the bluetooth audio toggle on the phone my TomTom is directed though the parrot, just as i want.
However after i receive a call the bluetooth audio is disconnected and i need to toggle the application again.
Is there such an app that constantly monitors the state of the bluetooth audo and reconnects it as needed? or would this interfere during a call?
Cheers
I am using I-tech clip radio it support A2DP, AVRC with buit in FM radio receiver and sound quality is great.
But i am facing a problem -
My Wizard detects it as 1.Wireless Stereo and 2.hands free
After paring it plays music and handle call very well
Once i switch off BT on phone then again switch on to reconnect it connects only Hands Free part not Wireless Stereo - so music doesn't come on Hands free
If i start A2DP from Battery Status it transfers music but very poor sound quality and AVRC function.
I even tried Widcomm BT Stack but no help.
So after every switch on/off of BT i have to delete and pair it again with my phone.
Please help
I have same problem
rom TNT 273
genius bt-03i
sometimes it hepls when I turn my headphones off and on again and at bluetooth devices I tap and hold stylus on my phones and click set as wireless stereo, sometimes I have to unpair and pair again...
Solved
If i follow these steps it works -
OFF
1. switch off BT on phone
2. Switch off Handsfree
ON
3. Switch on Handsfree
4. Switch on BT on Phone in Connectable mode
5. After few seconds in BT config panel select & hold on listed handsfree set as wireless stereo
This process works very well
in my BT panel "Set as wireless stereo" stays grey after this procedure :-(

Hey, I'm not stranger to A2DP (Bluetooth Stereo) but I was wondering, the Mac supports A2DP output (to my headphones for example) but will it take it as an input?
I mean, when I pair my Pocket PC and my Mac, my phone only picks up Serial Port and Active Sync, but I imagine it's just because the bluetooth device is not showing it as a potential protocol.
Does anyone know of anyway I could achieve some form of A2DP input?
Sam
If our windows mobile device provides the bluetooth headset service you can connect to it as such, it'll show up in the device menu under the bluetooth menu bar icon.

I have paired my Sony Ericsson HBH-GV435a bluetooth handsfree to my new Touch Pro. Every time I make a call or respond to a call and hang up the BT connection hangs too and the handsfree disappears from the phone. If I power off and re-power on the BT handsfree the connection reestablishes until the next call comes in and I hang up where the BT connection hangs/disconnects again. My other BT (Jabra 250) works fine with no disconnections. Touch Pro BT settings and Sony BT settings are the default ones.
Any suggestions how to keep the Sony - HTC BT connection alive? Any tweaks?
Not sure if I understand 100% what you mean.
I noticed it with WinMo 6.1, the ROM I'm using right now(see sig) and other Raph ROMs that the BT device icon is OFF but BT itself is on. That's valid for 100% of the cases, the device icon and thus true communication to this device seems the be activated only on demand/when used and it takes less than a sec to do so (IMO great to conserve some battery power).
Let me describe (BT paired to know device):
BT headset on
BT at phone on (BT symbol on top/no headset symbol)
Open dialer, no headset symbol
Dial and a sec later headset symbol appears in dialer
Hang up (BT symbol on screen goes quickly off/on, headset symbol disappears).
The same with the - though nagging - incoming call delay:
Softkey lights blink
Incoming dialer screen pops up without headset symbol
Headset symbol appears and starts to peep ...
Thank you my friend! You solved a big mystery for me...I tested it and you are right, once a call comes in again the SE BT device gets automatically reactivated after a small lag and reconnects with no problems. I was losing the handsfree icon in the dialer and I was getting a "lost BT phone" tone in my handsfree and was misled to believe that the connection is lost. The connection indeed drops but reconnects on demand on next call. Great help! (was about to toss the handsfree to garbage!)
