Hi all
I have my XDA connected to my parrot kit, when i enable the bluetooth audio toggle on the phone my TomTom is directed though the parrot, just as i want.
However after i receive a call the bluetooth audio is disconnected and i need to toggle the application again.
Is there such an app that constantly monitors the state of the bluetooth audo and reconnects it as needed? or would this interfere during a call?
Cheers

Problem: Whenever I enable my wifi hotspot it causes my bluetooth audio to fail after approximately 5 min.
Example: In the car on car audio talking. Now enable to the hotspot for a wifi device (both services running on my phone at the same time). It works fine for a few min but then my I suddenly can't hear the person on the other end of the bluetooth call.
Troubleshooting:
1. If I turn off the wifi hotspot, the bluetooth audio will reconnect after about a min and I can hear the caller again.
2. If I have a bluetooth call going, the call does not drop. The other person is still there but just I can't hear them, they continue to hear me talking the whole time. The bluetooth devices stays connected - only the audio in is lost while audio out continues to work normally.
3. I have reprovisioned my phone with a new stock rom and tried it from a clean install before loading any third party apps and I get the same thing.
Phone specs
HTC Amaze, stock rom, android 4.0.3
Admittedly, I have not experimented with other blutooth devices only the connection to my car audio. The problem could be with my car bluetooth but I have never had connection issues with the car audio connected to any other bluetooth device.
I read an article that wifi and bluetooth can interfere with one another. But this only happens when both services are enable on the same phone (My HTC Amaze) at the same time. Wierd and frustrating because I have to kill my hotspot if I am going to receive a call and use bluetooth.

may try a new bt device
Hello,
Is there some way to find out why the phone is always sending audio signal over bluetooth when activated? It would be great to see if there's some app ding that.
I own a Cellular line F5XT interphone and I always connect it to my phone over bluetooth. Whenever the phone sends whatever audio signal to the interphone (e.g. even no sound, just background noise), it gives the precedence to such signal and I cannot activate other functionalities (like AM/FM Radio) on my headset.
Basically I think it would be enough to find out what is occupying the audio channel over bluetooth all the time when connected.
UP
Anyone? My HTC One is crazy!
Hi!
I am searching for some technique/app or something on Android for changing connected bluetooth audio device when a higher priority device wants to connect to phone. What I mean:
1) I have bluetooth headphones which I am using to listen to music and phone calling.
2) I have bluetooth car audio which I am using for phone calling while driving a car
I looking for the option to stay connected to headphones when entering a car. When a car audio wants to connect then phone should disconnect headphones and connect to car audio (car audio have higher priority in this case).
Thanks for any answers pointing me to right direction.
I have a Bluetooth headset that I want only the phone calls to go to and I have the media audio disabled the Bluetooth settings for it. however every time I disconnect and reconnect the headset the media audio still shows disabled yet all the audio gets routed to the headset. I have reset the Bluetooth settings and cleared the cache, and also reset up the headset multiple times and the problem still comes back. the only way I can get it to stop routing media audio to the headset is to each time I connect I have to manually go into the settings re-enable and then disable media audio. Any suggestions? This headset works fine on my pixel to set up that way.

This sounds like a similar issue I am having. This is not necessarily a problem with the device but a setting within the headset.
I usually have my BT Headset going more than 12-hours per day. I want the phone app to speak the callers' name over BT (Earphone mode> speak caller ID). The settings in my BT headset override the settings on the phone. Thus, when there is a phone call I hear, "Call from ###-###-####." No matter what I do on the phone, the headset will override it.
In your case, the headset might have a similar override forcing the media audio to reconnect.
Try contacting the manufacturer and see if you can change the settings in the headset.
Cheers,
My phone only automatically connects to my car when I set it for both Audio and Calls.
If I set it for audio only, it won't auto connect.
I use a wireless headset for calls, therefore need the car for audio only.
Any suggestions to get it to auto connect in audio mode only.
Thanks
