So I purchased this samsung gear sport watch in 2020. Worked fine back then. But then I stopped using it. Been sitting in my closet for the past 2+ years. Today i took out and thought of looking in to it. Tried to charge but it won`t turn on. Tried on both the dock and wireless pad but it just shows a tiny green flickr on the top arch for a second and that`s all. The watch seems to heat up while on charge. But it doesn`t seem to show any progress. Tried to plug it in laptop and pc usb 2.0 as well. Nothing works. Waiting for the screwdriver to arrive in a week to open it up. Looking for any other suggestions, till then.

and yet so far..
My new 3M micro projector arrived yesterday, after about a month wait due to an issue around them having to source UK adaptor. Anyway I used the TV out cable that comes with the Serra and connected it to the Mpro and there was the image, playing anything the phone could throw at it but with a noticeable jumping / flickering after only a few seconds of being connected.
I have checked the connections, and they look sound, then I checked the projector with a laptop and played half an hour of a film with no issues. I then played videos off the phone through the TV using the cables so independently they seem to work fine but there is obviously something in conflict when used together as well as a flickering the projector seems to lose the signal completely from time to time and return to the 3m logo screen before reconnecting.
Anyone any ideas or suggestions?
Hey all,
My other half and I picked up a TF300 to use as our "away with work" machine. She's had it for the last 4 months, and as we high-5'd at the airport she gave it to me with a couple of snags. I'm away with it now, so would prefer not to RTM it if we can solve this here!
The screen portion is working just fine, the issue is with the keyboard. It won't take a charge at all. Software reports the battery at 0% for the keyboard, plus the flashing orange LED on the power port side. It will allow the screen to charge from the mains while the keyboard is connected, so the issue is probably not the lead/connector/port there. The screen recognises that the keyboard is connected.
Also the usb port on the dock is refusing to recognise HDDs, memory sticks etc. It will give power over USB but seemingly no data.
I've tried a factory reset and have also upgraded to the latest uk firmware, to no avail!
Thoughts?
It's Tuesday and up until Saturday I was able to connect my TF to my TV via the HDMI. However, as of today, it does not output audio or video to the tv. The sound and video remains on the tablet. This is while playing a movie and even Youtube. I don't have another micro hdmi cable to try, but I highly doubt my cable is damaged since I secured it after the last use. I tried shifting the cable about in case it had a short to see if anything would pop up - but nothing. I even tried a different hdmi port on the tv.
I tried rebooting both the tablet and tv, and also upgraded the firmware (had been postponing that ever since the update came out). I was also rooted before, but it was working fine.
Any ideas other than trying a new cable?
15 mins update:
I noticed with my cable connected to the tv - if I switch the tablet off and then on again (short press power button twice) the tv screen goes black and I can see a dull square outline on the tv. So I know the tablet like it is trying to do something. But still can't say if it's the cable or something else.
50 views and nobody with an idea?
in your case two way
factory reset
another cable or / and another screen

Turns out that my 15ft cable was bad . I bought a 6ft today and it works fine.
Hey guys
I’ve found this Moto G. As you see the screen is totally smashed; the left down corner of logic board is a bit bended but there are not any modules on. When connected to charger the led turns and off sometimes, while trying to turn on it blinks 3 times. When connected to computer same behavior as on charger, computer detects device connected and disconnected repeatably. Is it possible to check if logic board is fine without buying a new screen before? Would like to know first if it’s worth it though.
Phone works perfectly ie it will charge from the fast charger or from a pc. However when I plug the phone into my car stereo 80 % of the time a warning is displayed stating connection has been disabled for protection. I have to turn everything off and back on in order to attempt again.
I've tried other phones such as the one plus 3t and they are work correctly.
I contacted Samsung but as usual they try and take you through soft rebooting etc. As a last resort I have factory reset my phone but it made no difference.
Any thoughts?
