Will it go? - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys
I’ve found this Moto G. As you see the screen is totally smashed; the left down corner of logic board is a bit bended but there are not any modules on. When connected to charger the led turns and off sometimes, while trying to turn on it blinks 3 times. When connected to computer same behavior as on charger, computer detects device connected and disconnected repeatably. Is it possible to check if logic board is fine without buying a new screen before? Would like to know first if it’s worth it though.

[Q] Sony Ericsson Xperia Play digitizer not working after installing a new flex cable

I'll start from the beginning. I noticed my phone's screen would kinda freeze or blur like a static tv. The screen would dim when I slide it open. I figured it would be either one of these 2: the lcd screen or the main flex cable. I had already replace the digitizer like 4 months before this and the digitizer work great after installation.
Here's my problem. Now that I installed the main flex cable the lcd works great but the digitizer stopped responding. I also noticed that the phone will only charge if I turn the phone off then plug in the charger then turn the phone back on. If the phone is on and I plug in the charger the phone will work for like 5 seconds then it will freeze then restart by it self. Its wierd.
I checked the cables, all the cables, to make sure they were all properly connected and locked. Everything inside, hardware related is working.
Here's something else that is important. My mother has the exact same phone as me. So, I switched the earpiece flex cable, (I thought maybe it was this cable that could be malfunctioning), from both phones to see if this cable was the problem. The lcd on my phone still worked but still no digitizer response. Here's what is crazy about this. Now my mothers phone does not work. I installed her original cable and rechecked all cables and now her phone has the same problem!
I came to the conclusion that there is a slight chance that it might be a minor cable mistake that I made on BOTH phones -or- There is some sort of software or firmware or something that needs to be installed. (Like when installing a new printer on a computer, you would need the installation CD) Maybe after I unlocked and pulled the main flex cable some sort of memory was interrupted or something. Although I am not sure if that is even possible...but umm...yeah. Any help?

Nexus 5 Touch issue when connected to PC

Hi
I have been having this issue for sometime now. I connect my Nexus to my laptop using the USB cable, and most of the time the screen starts acting up. Touch calibration is all wrong. When i click something, the actual button that is clicked is totally a different one. And sometimes it activates stuff on its own.
I have tried several stuff I found on google. Some said it had something to do with my home electricity not being grounded. I checked. It is grounded. Tried everything from flashing new roms to freshly starting from stock! Nothing seems to work!
Its like this thing have a mind of its own
Hi, if you use stock wall adapter, it's working correctly? Usually that is some kind bad electricity problem or that device where you plugged it causes problems.
Check usb cable. If it's not happening on LG cable and LG wall charger than it's your usb to pc cable problem
PS check other usb port and cable

Nexus 5 USB doesnt work even after new flex replacement

Hey everyone,
My Nexus 5 wont charge or even be recognised by a computer. I am, however, able to successfully charge it via the wireless charger though. I have replaced the usb flex, thinking this was the problem, but it still wont charge, and windows wont detect it.
When attached to the wireless charger, flashes red, until it has enough power, then starts up and boots directly in to fastboot mode with it automatically cycling through the options.
Any ideas why this would be? Is there a fuse on the main motherboard or something that could be affecting this?
Possible power button issue which would explain the phone automatically cycling through fastboot options?
Possibly damaged USB connector on motherboard?

What is the name of this cable?

I was replacing the touchscreen of my Xperia J when I broke a small cable.
It connects two circuit boards. It's the cable that the guy is handling at about 2:30 in this video.
Here is also a picture of the cable.
I would like to know the name of this cable so I can buy a new one from eBay or something
I would also like to know what exactly it does. I noticed that my phone doesn't turn on without it. When I try to turn it on, it vibrates but doesn't actually turn on.

Click to collapse
It looks like a Wifi antenna or cellular cable but i'm not sure.
that's an RF antenna. No more connections like wifi, cellular will be transmit if you removed that cable.

Leagoo T8s Powers Off bug

Hi,
i have an Leagoo T8s phone with Android 8.1. It served me fine for a while, but...
This one developed a power problem. Once the usb cable is plugged in it Powers Off instantly.
So it looks like a bad contact in usb, but it isnt. I thought to had takled it by bending the metal little plate over the battery connector so it pushed a bit harder to the board.
Because when i squeezed the phone a bit just below the fingerprintreader, the blue led started to burn while usb was plugged in. It only then seems to charge.
Well that does not seem to work anymore either. When i measure the battery it is still above 4Vdc. Seems ok. (there is a little dot next to the connector)
Now when i connect to my win10 via usb, then when pushing Power for like 10secs, you can hear the sound of a USB plugged in followed a sec later by the usb unplug sound.
So it does something, but what?
Then without USB, it only turns on when pushing power and bang it a bit to my hand. So it looks like a bad contact somewhere, but also some weird but because putting in USB power really gentle turns it off.
Would like to use it for development of apps as it was a nice phone for the price and what it offered.
Already bought another one from a brand hopefully a better quality (xiaomi redmi note 9), no more Leagoo for me.
Anyone here knows what the problem is? Maybe someone from LEagoo factory?
Thanks!
