Question How does one apply for One UI Watch 5 Beta outside the US? - Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

Basically the title. I live outside the US, is there anyway to sign up for the new One UI 5 Watch Beta within the Samsung Members app for people outside the US?
Is there anyway to trick the system to mock a US location?

Here's when Samsung will open a software beta program for the Galaxy Watch 4
FYI... Updated, May 25, 2022 (04:00 PM ET): Samsung has already opened the beta program for the Galaxy Watch 4, just a day after announcing it was coming. (per androidauthirity) https://www.androidauthority.com/one-ui-watch-beta-3168590/
forum.xda-developers.com
Forget it...
Last time it was also joke and nobody shared the update.zip...
Best Regards

But, how does that apply to my question? Did you even read what I posted? It relates to the Samsung Members Application.

You can think what ever you want...
Last time for 5 seconds only US and Korean user(s) benifit from Beta.
NOBODY else.
If you are able to to have US and/or Korean Account with US and/or Korean Member crap app... feel free to test the Beta.
Samsung do the same SH ehm thing again.
Why no International Beta?
Blame not me.
Talk to your """friends""" Samsung...
Good Luck.
Btw.
They allready finished the GW6 Firmware...
So maybe think what ever you want...
I am not here to make jokes....

It is nearly impossible...
Maybe ever you need VPN US...
As soon you are identified outside...
Your US or Korean Account is booom...
Since this f. 2way ...
No idea if you know your Phone send MCC and MNC infos?
From your REAL location... not your wet dream location...
Only way IMHO is we have update.zip
Then we can simple update manually with system exploit...
Again.
Feel free to find your own solution.
Feel free to ignore my long time knowledge with GW4 GW5 Firmware...
Your choice.

You can read or not... Not my problem...
Here example how you can apply update.zip with system shell exploit...
Firmware and Combination Firmware and FOTA Delta and CSC change and...
Looks like it could be harder since Tizen... A Stock Firmware for netOdin/Odin not available yet... B Combination Firmware not available yet C FOTA Delta File for study I have...
forum.xda-developers.com
IMHO chance is much higher if friendly US and/or korean users share update.zip
Because to catch this file is NO Rocket Science...
We have seen this often with Phones... users shared the update.zip
But again. Feel free to fake 2 way factor check for Samsung Account AND ugly Member App...
And fake real MCC and MNC as long as you can...

Here example.
Users from Phone world are able to share update.zip
[OneUI 4.0 Beta 1 & 2](EXYNOS) Update.zip for S21 / Plus / Ultra - Download OTA Link
So, now that we have OneUI 4.0 Beta 1 rolling out to countries (ofc only 7), it has come so far in Germany & Korea (as far as I know). So the rest of the world wants an update.zip link, so don't be selfish and please, if you have one, capture the...
forum.xda-developers.com
NO idea why it is impossible for GW4 and/or GW5 user(s)...
Maybe this time more luck...
Who knows...
Hope dies ever last...

You do have a point. But the route I chose was not answered upon. The update.zip will not satisfy my question, I want to be registered for the BETA under the Members app. Anyway, I recently found out a way to do it and that is to change your Samsung Account country. The change should be applied in 16 hours from stating this message and then I will reinstall Samsung Members under an US VPN, then apply for the beta legitimately. If anything goes wrong with my device I would be able to get a refund or a replacement device. That is the route I prefer. Not to be blacklisted.

...will not satisfy my question,..
Click to collapse
But maybe better you satisfy me.
A
Last Beta was very short period of time... for Registration...
So time tick tack runs...
No idea if this time longer...
B
Your plan...
Fake 2 high secured in chain "Apps" in Samsung Knox world...
Maybe on unrooted Android 14 Phone or similar...
B.1
Samsung Account
To fake you are Us and/or Korean user
B.2
Samsung Members App
Which IMHO work together with Security Checks of Samsung Account...
C
Fake your network to be sure your Phone not send real location data like:
MCC
MNC
D
Please let me know if somebody can help you.
Best Regards

I forgot identifcation via IMEI...
But anyway.
If you have success.
Congratulation.
Best Regards and still good Luck.

Will give you an update once I get the approval.

Maybe only difference if we compare to last time...
The worst thing about Samsung’s One UI Watch 5 beta
Samsung fans are aware that the company has been testing the next major software update, Wear OS 4 and One ...
www.sammobile.com
Maybe not 5 minute period time... then closed.
@CertifiedWeeb
Feel free to give feedback for any result.
I have still nobody who shared the update.zip...
Like last Beta...
Best Regards

keep me updated if this works. Apparently the members app checks your country by using your sim card, so I removed my simcard, cleared the members app cache and storage, connected to a US server via a VPN, and then opened the members app. I managed to get the US version of the members app, but the beta program would not show up.

My account country has changed, and I tried the above, even using a mock location app, and it still didn't show up. Welp. Atleast I got my Samsung Account country changed. I wanted it to be changed. I think the beta program is closed.

This beta is total garbage and has rendered my watch useless. Please help me get this beta garbage off my watch. Samsung tells me to send it to them for this and I have to pay because no longer in ****ty 1 year warranty.

Found "maybe' New PPC Free Softwares Site in Cab/Zip formats

Hi all,
i don't know if this has been made known before but anyway here is a link http://www.freecabs.de/ to a site that serves to provide ppc users a place to find free/commercial softwares/games in cab file-ready format and zip. just to mention a few like Pocket Rar, PPC Skype, Mem Release, VLC Media Player (that can stream video), Virtual Earth Mobile, UI tweaker etc. As for version compatibility, as most is not mentioned, i guess it's up to the user to find out.
I've tried to look for the proprietor's name of this website but could not find any so i could not pay any tribute directly as yet but anyway if he/she reads this, "A BIG THANK YOU TO YOU" so if any of you guys do find his/her name please mention it here. he/she did tho' include his/her e-mail "[email protected]". I think he/she deserves our thank you.
Cheers. (P.S as the url suggest softwares are free but i could not confirm this as i don't use much of them only those that i need)
The site is by Holger Schmidt
Danke Holger
Yes, i'm sorry. it's listed just below the title. Thanks.

[/!\ Warning /!\] Please do no post Swype apk's

As Swype is only available as a limited closed beta or as part of an OEM android build, please do no post any links to the swype apk files.
I'm the beta community relations rep for Swype (Brian Resnik, if you're over on the Swype forums).
First of all, yes we're watching you HAHA. I'm obligated to wag my finger at you all for distributing our software without a license. A little patience will go a long way. Trust me, the more the brass hears about people illegally copying Swype and feeling entitled to a free version (yes, we know there's no copy on the market for you to buy, but you have to respect that OEM distribution is our chosen business model), the less they want to support a beta program at all. The better we play nice with eachother, the sooner more people get into the beta!

Yes people, stop distributing the beta swype. If you didnt get to sign up then its your lose. By the way I got my invitation today
in all reality lets respect what the swype developers want.
Whew. Glad I got my Beta Key early. >:3
Just go to beta.swype.com and register. When we open the gates again, you'll be first to know and install.
Sounds awesome, but I'll believe it when I see it.
That's why I follow this forum, and a several Android™ blogs.
It was through them, that I found out about the Beta program.
I also received my Swype Beta app
If you didn't get an invite but you registered, go to the beta website, login and ask them to resend your invitation. Worked for me.
Got an invitation as well, it's soo good. Wish it had the look of the stock keyboard though. I like the consistency across the UI and apps.
I got my invitation today, too I love swype!
but how are those of us who are part of the beta supposed to get themed versions. you guys need to hurry up and make it skin-able. Also, even if you did kill the beta program... we would still get it. We always do.

I know you hate me anyway.
Swype has updated their page with the new beta instructions. It appears at this point to be a limited public beta, as it will only be available for a couple of days, and requires you to enter your email address to get the download.
So threads with download links will still not be allowed.
Get the info here; http://beta.swype.com/
What version is being pushed for the public beta?
I'll tell you as soon as it actually lets me download it. The site is laggy as hell and it has failed installing/activating several times now.
Most likely due to high volumes of people trying to install it.
I'd almost rather just wait and install it the less-than-legal way.
I stand corrected. Glad they opened the beta.
see this is an honorable request and all... but it's kinda annoying when your site is down and lagged as hell due to volumes of requests. at least place the files somewhere else.
think of linux distros. why do they resort to p2p downloading too? hmmm. maybe its something small sites should look into when they don't have bandwidth to begin with....
Was anyone able to download it on Froyo 2.2 for N1?????
I keep getting "You're not using an Android phone" web page.
Yes I made sure my browser was in Android mode.

Bitdroid - Dedicated Android ROM Torrent Tracker

Bitdroid - Home | Bitroid - Tracker | Bitdroid - Forum
Introducing Bitdroid! The dedicated torrent tracker for Android ROMs!
After a couple of weeks of trial-and-error, I have finally got a torrent tracker site setup and running for Android ROM developers; a place for them to create and track a torrent for their ROMs.
Why use a torrent tracker like Bitdroid.org versus regular download links? Easy: better flow of download traffic, which equates to faster downloads!
Peer-2-Peer, or P2P, (torrents in this case) are better for high-flow traffic compared to normal HTTP (sites like Mediafire) or FTP. In HTTP or FTP, users can only download, and it's only from a single server. The more people downloading a file from a single server, the slower the download for everybody on that server requesting the same file. This is not the case for P2P connections. Every user that's downloading, downloads from another user. All of the users download are also uploading to other users, so the traffic is not coming from a single source. It is coming from many sources, alleviating slow downloads, enabling higher traffic. P2P is a much superior way to distribute large files (such as Android ROMs).
So where did this idea come from? After the release of several popular ROMs, I saw people complaining about slow download speeds, and having to upload to several different download mirrors for others to download at a fast pace again, until those became "clogged" for a while as well. P2P, as previously mentioned, would have alleviated this and reduced (or even eliminated) the need for several HTTP / FTP mirrors. HTTP download links could still be provided, but torrent links could also be provided to help alleviate high traffic, congested downloads.
P2P also allows tracking and stats of an individual download. Each file is tracked by the amount of seeders (people uploading), leechers (people downloading), and total downloads.
I've searched, and I couldn't find a dedicated torrent tracker for Android ROMs; I could only find trackers for general use, or other specific uses (movies, games, etc.), of which not all of these are completely safe due to concern of possible copyrighted content. With Bitdroid, only Android ROMs are allowed, and it is preferred that the original developer of the ROM uploads the file (or with permission from the developer, a 3rd-party user could upload the ROM). Since Android is open-source, there aren't any legal concerns of piracy and such due the open-source licensing of the Android OS.
For an added layer of "security" only an approved member group is allowed to upload files. You must be manually added to the group before being able to upload torrents, to try and further discourage potential piracy or unauthorized uploading of ROMs.
I currently have a splash-page setup, that links to the actual tracker, as well as a forum (work-in-progress).
If you're a developer or know a developer, please sign up on the torrent tracker and/or forum and I can get you setup to upload your torrents, and don't forget to spread the word!
If you have any questions or comments, please either post here or on the website! Come and check it out!
Note: I have permission from YZ to post this.
Bump. Got mixed reviews in the Rezound forum about this; not much response from Dev's yet (which is what I would like the opinion of as well).

Always been intrigued why no Android ROM developer uses torrent technologies... Even on questionable tracker as Pirate Bay (Yes, you can find legal stuff there ^^).
Now there is no excuse ! With this tracker, we can download almost eyes closed. And now, every body can help, even if no developer, even without giving money. Let's seed !

The idea is good, however i think having a ratio system on the site will do it more harm than good.
Unless you download the rom soon after its uploaded your probably going to struggle to seed it back, especially if its from a developer who updates the rom every couple of days. I think its very unlikely someone would download the older version once the next build is out.
Wow, my site made the front page news! Awesome .

It's for any ROM. There's categories for stock ROMs, custom ROMs (from developers), or 'Other' (for kernels or something like that). I can always add more categories as well if anybody has suggestions!

That's an interesting possibility; I didn't consider that Google may have a whitelist of supported devices. If I had to guess, though, I wouldn't think so. There are thousands of Android devices out there more introduced every day so trying to manually maintain a list like that would be difficult even for Google.
I suspect the problem is something worse. The version of Android on this phone appears to be far from stock Android. I think core pieces of the OS are modified enough that Android Pay's checks that you are running on a secure, uncompromised device fail. Few of the built in screens and features look like vanilla Android. The OS on thsi phone really does look like a toned-down version of MIUI from a couple of years ago. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's definitely not Android as Google thinks it should be.
I reported the issue to Google from within the Android Pay app. I think you guys should do the same to bring this to their attention. Maybe they can pressure Blu to fix the issue?

Hi, Pedro.
I'm sorry that you ran into an error message on your Android Pay app! I understand how frustrating that can be.
The specific error message that you saw means that your device can't support Android Pay's advanced security. If you've heavily modified your device, may I recommend returning it to its original state and trying again? Otherwise, you may want to use Android Pay on a different device for the most secure payments.
If you have any more questions, please reply to this email or let my team call you. We're happy to help!

Thanks,
Tabitha

Hi, Pedro.
I'm sorry that you ran into an error message on your Android Pay app! I understand how frustrating that can be.
It appears your device is not compatible with Android Pay. You will need to use Android Pay from a device that is compatible.

I guess we're going to have to report this to Blu. I seriously doubt they will do anything about it!
Please!

I was extremely disapointed, I bought the cellphone thinking it would work. That's lame, at least I have 30 days to return if they do not fix this.

Hi guys. There is still hope. I will notify Blu as well. Please see below for a response from Google Support Team:
Hi, mhajii210.
Thanks for contacting Google and for your interest in Android Pay!
Yes, I have noted your request to have this device checked for eligibility and having the Android Pay be made available for your device too.
That being said, I have laid out some info about the eligibility for Android Pay.
The Android Pay app is compatible with Android phones running KitKat (4.4) or higher with "near field communication" (NFC) tap and pay capability. (For security, Android Pay isn't compatible with rooted/modified devices.)
To check whether your phone supports tap and pay, please see our Help Center.
Device purchased in US
SIM card manufactured in US
Device is on supported carrier
Rest assured that I have noted your request to ask our engineers to look into having the app for the device you mentioned.
If you have any more questions, please reply to this email or let my team call you. We're happy to help!
Thanks,

This being an unlocked phone doesn't that kind of kick it out from being supported for this reason "Device is on supported carrier"?

Nexus line of phones are unlocked but of course they support Android Pay. As long as the phone uses a US SIM card on an approved carrier, it is fine. The problem is this phone is running an Android version that has not been certified to use Android Pay. It is possible if both Google and Blu work together that may change in the future. I think it really depends on how well this phone sells. If there is enough of a demand it'll happen. At this point I'm not holding my breath. It never hurts to try though since it is in Google's best interest to get Android Pay to work on as many phones as possible.
Great!

Let's see what's going to happen, it is obvious that because this phone's rom is so modified, it is the reason. I hope Android Pay work this out to make sure it is "Secure" for them. :good: Finger crossed

There is an update as of 11/6/2015 on Android Pay app, but the device still incompatible.
So, i haven't verified it works yet, but with HTC Sense loaded as my launcher I was able to activate my card in Android Pay. This didn't work previously but this time i was using a cellular connection versus wifi to activate. I will try to test it tonight.

Please let us know if it works! Also, what did you have to install to get Android Pay to work? I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...08-03-2015-t3049438/post59300333#post59300333. Is this how you went about installing the Sense Launcher?

Proxy Server/VPN/bypass Geoblocking/ Write a software

Looking to pay for a successful method in regard to bypassing this:
I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for PC. I live in Dallas, TX, USA and want to play DFS ie. draftkings/FanDuel but TX is one of the few or so unavailabe states. I have used VPN's but sites will not allow me to play because I need my location enabled . The plugin we're looking to get over is called Geo Comply, it's mega advanced, does more than 350 checks on you every 20 minutes, eats stuff like VPN/RDPs for breakfast and a few experienced developers I've contacted failed already. They have a lot of information on their site about the methods they use and after reading it, you might get a bit discouraged as experienced as you might be. I want a software or a solution that can bypass all their checks and for me to stay undetected while being out of state. I need to appear to be located within New Jersey. I wanna work with serious and experienced developers only, as I said this is far from an easy task that many so-called old IT dogs failed and gave up on. Your effort will be rewarded and I might have future jobs for you too if you can somehow manage a solution for my problem. Looking forward to working with you.
