The goal of this thread is for users with these devices to work with me to add official TWRP support for their device, ultimately gaining them root access and complete control over their devices.
Allow me to make this clear before you proceed:
You must be willing to work with me and test builds that I churn out for you. You have to already have ADB installed on your PC, as well as Odin!
I will be having you execute commands over adb shell in order to get all information necessary for a completely stable build.
Download ADB: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/host-tools-t3402497
Download Odin and Samsung Drivers: https://idlekernel.com/flash-tools
If I post test builds, I do not advise using them for daily operations!
IRC: #twrp on irc.freenode.net (click for webchat)
Understand that I cannot be in IRC at all times, so in some cases you may wish to respond on this post. IRC is preferable, however, as it allows instant communication.
LOOKING FOR SOURCES?
Kernel sources are available here:
Exynos 3475
Exynos 5433
Exynos 7870
Each one can be built with ./build.sh [device] [region]
Individual device trees can be found in my github repository list using the search functions:
https://github.com/jcadduono?tab=repositories
i have joined irc
thanks,.. you remember me..im a galaxy ON5 user,, i have joined irc ...i dont know how to contact you through that ..i bileve in you...please create #twrp official for galaxy on5 Exynos 3475 . thank you bye
You can build only one, and flash to all devices with Exynos 3475
I just got the on5, which immediately upgraded to 6.0.1. How do you check if your bootloader is unlocked? Whenever I adb reboot into bootloader it just reboots into the normal system and my googlfu is failing to find a way to see it. THe debug info shows

Hey guys ,
Mid 2018 , is there any root method for the 7.0 nougat official rom for the Verizon S6 ?
Any custom roms prerooted?
Is there anything up to date currently for this phone or there's no development going for the verizon variant ?
Converting would be nice cose there's a ton of stuff for the regular international s6 but boy this verizon with it's locked bootloader ...
I have searched the forums, seen a sketchy post about prerooted nougat rom, send you to a video with links but people conplaining it doesn't work , searched to see if there's a way to at least root it to install some mods like dual speaker , camera mod, but nope, ping pong doesn't work auto root doesnt work , nothing works for the 920V
Is there anything that does work ?
At this point, I don't think we will see much more development due to the age of the hardware. I personally held out as long as I could but got tired of waiting and ditched Samsung.

Hi,
I'm sorting out my rooted Samsung Galaxy Xcover4 SM-G390F at present and am trying to find a SuperSU package that works with the device. I would prefer not to use Magisk. My current firmware is:
BTU-G390FXXU4BSB3-20190401110734
I'm likely to to update that soon and would welcome suggestions as what Recovery to use - I am currently using Android Recovery.
Thanks!
