Question [Resolved, I think...] Turning "Hey Google" Function On - Google Pixel 7 Pro

I've been using the "Hey Google" function for a couple of weeks but now I notice that the function no longer works. I must have inadvertently turned it off somehow. How can I turn it back on?

If you can still use the assistant when long pressing the power button, ask it to "open assistant settings". A new menu should open, tap on "Hey Google & Voice Match", then, tap on "Hey Google" to enable.
Now some guide may pop up, follow it, now it should be working.

Here's what I did to enable "Hey Google...".
Tap the little microphone (the Assistant) and say “Hey Google open assistant settings”. "POPULAR SETTINGS" should appear, with "Hey Google & Voice Match at the top of the list.
Tap “Hey Google & Voice Match”. “Hey Google & Voice Match” should appear. If “This device” is underlined and in blue, then "Hey Google..." is already enabled. If not, then tap the button to the right of “Hey Google”. It should turn blue. “Activate Voice Match to use ‘Hey Google’” appears.
NOTE: You can at this time retrain the Assistant to recognize your voice by tapping “Voice model”. Otherwise, tap the Back button at the bottom of the screen, then tap “I agree”. The message “Hey Google” is ready” should appear.
Tap the Back button. "POPULAR SETTINGS" should reappear. "Hey Google..." will have a circle with a checkmark inside to tell you that it is enabled.
Tap the Back button again. Now "Hey Google" will respond when you tap the microphone button.
To disable “Hey Google”, repeat Steps 1 and 2, tap the “Hey Google” button until it turns white, then tap “OK”. "Hey Google..." is now disabled.

[Q] Google Now - UK

Ok so I'm probably being dense and missing something obvious but I have no Google Now on my N5. I've got the 'Ok Google' Voice activation working by selecting English US in the voice search settings. But I cannot swipe left on the home screen and if I click the search bar it just brings up the search box with my search history.
Edit: Found it - Touch and hold on the home screen > settings > turn on google now

You have turned google now off, to turn it back on, press and hold, on home screen, and go to settings, and select google now, then you can switch it back on from there.

Wake up command is not working

Anybody know why I can not get the wake up command to work?
I tried Google voice commands, work fine 100% of the time, but on the lock screen try the wake up command.... and nothing happens.
The mic should be working see it on the top right?
Think it may have something to do with S-Voice? but I can find no S-Voice settings or App.
Try double tapping the HOME button, then going into the menu and then settings.
Was going to say, done a few Google searches before I found S-Voice turns on when you double click the home button
Then I found the the reason the voice command did not work is the command is "Hi Galaxy", really this is not as stupid as it sounds the lock screen says swipe to up lock or say "Wake-Up" command..... so I am shouting at the stupid thing "WAKE UP", the command is "Hi Galaxy" like I should know.

[Q] Voice comman finger press indicator

Does anyone know of an App that will allow me to voice command preset spots on my phone? For instance..If I say "Tap Location One", the app will then relay this message and act as if I press the phone in the upper left location on my phone (Or wherever I preset the location). "Tap Location Two" will tap the the bottom right corner of my phone. This will be useful if someone was washing dishes but wanted to play a game on their phone or any other situation where their hands are free.
Thanks.
I think this can be done through tasker.

Tap vs slide to answer/reject phone calls?

I had this set to tap on the icons (instead of the default slide) to answer or reject a phone call but now I can't find it. Anyone remember how does one is done on the S8? Thanks in advance!
Its in accessibility settings. Search for "Single Tap Mode" in settings to find it quicker.

Was thinking the same .. until I've finally found it, go to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity > Assistant menu > Enable it, then scroll down to "Single tap to swipe" and Enable it, after that you can scroll back up to the top and Disable the "Assistant menu", otherwise you will have that circle on your screen.. and you can notice the "Single tap to swipe" remains "On" even with the "Assistant menu" disabled. Enjoy!

For some works but for others all work except "for calls" e.g. alarms, notifications, etc. , you can then enable the "Assistant Menu", the circle button can be hidden if you tap and hold it, it will show a "Drag here to hide X" at the top, once that is gone, you can get rid of the "Accessibility" notifications easily by going to Settings > Accessibility > click on the 3 dots in the corner right, then "Hide status notifications":

(remove the space after http to load the images)
The problem is the only thing that i need is the calls - all others i don't use
I tried this on my Sprint s8+ which just got pie and even after doing this the notification for the assistant menu stays on the notification bar and can't be removed (it's minimized and silenced so only visible when u swipe down but can't be hidden or removed)

I am trying to set up a Moto E6 for better accessibility for my 86yo mother-in-law. The phone upgraded to Pie, but there does not seem to be an option for tap to swipe even when I activate the menu. Any other ideas for how to get a tap to answer a call since she can't hold the button and swipe? I see comments about senior-friendly launchers and an app called easy answer. Even with the lock screen disabled the phone still demands swipe to answer. She'd have to have the phone screen on at all times to get a push to answer prompt from Motorola.
Thanks,
Dan

[GUIDE FOR BIXBY BUTTON] Open Google assistant with single press or double press

I have a solution for anyone in regards of using Google assistant through the Bixby button after Yesterdays update to remap the Bixby button to third party apps for the Galaxy S8/S8+/Note 8/S9/S9+/Note 9.
Follow these simple steps
1. Make sure that your Bixby apps run the latest update from the Galaxy Store.
2. Install the Google assistant app from the playstore and set it up for first time use.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.googleassistant
3. Open Bixby through the Bixby button and enter settings.
4. Instead of choosing the app from 3rd party apps like you do with most apps installed on your device, chose run a command instead and add the command "open assistant" and press save.
5. You can now single or double press (It's your choice) the Bixby button and Google assistant will pop up, just waiting for you to say something. I've tried it myself, and it works like a charm.
Hope someone find this helpful, i saw a lot of people complaining about not being able to use the Bixby button to open Google assistant on YouTube, and came up with this solution.
Oooo, thanks for this.
To clarify:
"Add command"
scroll down and hit "Type it"
type in "open assistant"
What update are you refering to? Was it a bixby update? My bixby settings for the bixby key do not allow me to do anything other than open bixby or do nothing.
