Hello, how to know the region of my device, it just says "le 2110".
If it is not global, can a global rom be placed?

This is Chinese variant, but it receives LE2115 (North America/Global variant) updates. My device is LE2110 too, but it only showed that on OOS11. It receives OTA updates of LE2115 for OOS12 and 13.

The tittle says it pretty much all. For context, i am getting a so-called Global Version of the Mix 2S in a copule days, but i have my suspicions that what i may receive is a China Mainland unit.
Is there a way to know what version of the hardware do i have? since now there is the possibility of flashing the global firmware into the CN model, just looking at what is installed won't do. And there is not an option to enter engineering mode in recent snapdragon devices so one cannot check the built in bands either.
The packaging for the global model is in English and says "global version".

Hi there
Purchased a parallel-imported Indian AC2001 from Noel Leeming (in New Zealand)
The phone has been working well.
Just wondering if cross-flashing the AC2003 (Global) version would unlock bands or is that contained in a different part of the firmware?
Because here in NZ we use Band 28 and the Indian version doesn't have that band enabled.
Also, sorry if it's already been asked, I did a search but couldn't find the information.
And a follow-up question - if I do cross-flash is the MSM thread the one I should use?
Cheers
You can cross flash. Might not hurt. I was on EU, couldn't wait for update, cross flashed Global and vice versa many times.
You can use the builds in OPTeam thread. Builds in Oxygen OS updater won't work.
So, basically. We must use the tool and that we can't just download the AC2003 rom, copy into the AC2001 NORD and the use the "local update" option on AC2001 NORD to flash the AC2003 rom?
My apology as I'm only receiving my OnePlus NORD AC2001 Indian set tomorrow...

I did this on my ac2001 and have been using it like this for a while now, it works fine, but as far as I can tell, you don't get band 28, just the European software.

I see! So, "Local Upgrade" works for crossflashing rom? Just that one just gets the EU software and not the EU bands?
I'm in Singapore. I will be receiving my AC2001 tomorrow. So, I'm thinking that flashing to AC2003 EU/Global firmware would be more compatible with Singapore's local telcos bands..
interesting ... any update to cross flash and have different band enabled ?
Cheers
Greetings
I need your help with steps to change my OP8T Indian variant KB2001 to EU version.
Reason: bought it from Indian friend and I live in a different country.
Please advise.
Thanks
Just do a local update with a newer EU rom and it will be fine.
The Indian hardware probably won't support all the same 5G bands that a legit EU phone would though.
I just bought LG V60 in Indonesia. FYI, LG V60 is not officially released in Indonesia. I need to know which region and/or provider my phone comes from, so I can find the right ROM to flash according to the region and/or provider. How to find the region and provider? In the system-about phone section, the phone model number is just LM-V600, software version V10f-LAO-SI.
And what if I just flash any ROMs without knowing the right region or provider? Is it okay?
Thanks in advance!
try put your Imei on this site or similar sites

It seems to be some international demo/testing model i guess. I would try to update it via LG Bridge.

I'm in southamerica, and I have tmobile version. Can you help me to crossflash to europe / Global?
Hello there. I've been searching for this answer everywhere but can't find anything. Some says EU or Global rom cross flashing is possible but I've heard from a few people that OnePlus 9 indian variant doesn't allow to flash eu or global rom, if you flash the phone might get bricked hardly (that why I've doubt)
Is there any indian variant user who've flashed eu or the global rom on op9? Asking it cz unlike the international version, op9 indian doesn't comes with wireless charging. People saying this is the entire reason not to flash eu rom on an Indian variant.
Even if you do, there is a chance GSM is not the same and you will have problems with SIM card.
