I have a USB to C-USB to connect my android tablet to PC win 10 ,i can see it's connected but nothing show and no way to make files show, do i need a special usb to C-USB cable? or is there a way to connect Device to PC without cable?
If tablet's USB mode is set to "MTP" you should see the tablet's files / directories in Windows Explorer.

2x Female USB Adapter (Not sure what is it called lol)
I have a card reader and a 1gb microsd.
Can someone teach me how to connect them? I tried and the card reader's led is always off. And the phone just remains on "Enter USB Host Mode"
Edit: I found out that when I use a thumb drive, it did have power but my card reader no
But my card reader works normally :/
May be your Y cable is wrong ? (wires is difference soldered). You can try that: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19873059
You know when you connect android tablets or any smart phones via USB, the PC recognizes these devices as external drives (with MTP device ticked). But somehow in N8000 it's not the case. When connected, you see it as a phone, GT N8000 under My Computer and you see two folders as "Phone" and "Card"

This pattern makes it impossible to benefit the tablet via sync softwares since there's no "external disk" like it normally should be.
Any idea how we can we can set the tablet and microsd cards as indipendent external drives?
I do not think you can do that with the tab atleast in the stock room
That is valid for all my Android devices since Android 4
Its a work in progress but I was able to get a galaxy nexus to recognize my HTC 8.1 then strapped together with usb otg powered cable with a charging micro usb connected to the otg
This worked in the bootloader mode and booted mode on the 8x. Didn't work when android was booted in tarp recovery. Android gallery on the galaxy nexus attempted the sync photos but failed.
I'm thinking the possibility of using a parallel usba to usba ustarcom cable might might be successful at reading the window phone file system.
I will add pics when I get to a pc.
Any suggestions or comments are apprecieated.

Hey all, OnePlus 8 not detected in Ubuntu or Gallium OS, not detected by lsusb even though MTP is on, ADB and Fastboot don't detect the device and the device will not let me choose anything other than data transfer, everything else is all grayed out. I have tried re-installing adb, fastboot, drivers, wiping the device, using a different cable (I have 5 I'm playing with) and using a different device. Nothing is working. My phone is on EvolutionX ROM.
Also, the notification that shows whenever the device is connected to another and allows you to change the USB state (MTP, PTP, etc) does not show.

Things i've tried: other cable on the same pc, stock cable on other pc, other cable on other pc.
Always use official cable that came with phone.
Use USB 2.0 port.
Check the phone's USB port for any physical damages.
Don't use USB HUB to connect your device direclty connect it your computer's USB port.
