I come from a xiaomi mi 9t pro so I am kind of a noob when it comes to new Samsung stuff.
To me it seems that Samy still makes its phones run slower with every update so I want to revert back and debloat it.
Also is there any other steps that I need to follow if I can flash it besides the :
Turn on USB debugging - Reboot into download mode - Connect cable - Select BL - Ap - CSC.... Corresponding files, In Odin - Start?
Any help would be appreciated.
As long as it's signed firmware and the significant digit is the same or higher than the bootloader version, you can flash it.
Thx a lot for your help.
I checked the bootloader number and everything went OK.
I took the original firmware from Sammobile and flashed it with Odin.

If you have Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G9500) CSC - China (CHC) variant phone then you wont be able to use all the Google or various social networking sites features. so simply change the firmware to Hongkong (TGY) but remember one thing whenever you are trying to change the firmware make sure the Bit/SW REV Security Patch should be same otherwise you won't be able to change CSC. That's the only way, i suppose, to get full Google or Social sites.
how to find correct - Bit/SW REV Security Patch - for example,
G9500ZCS6DUD1 - this is Chinese (CHC) SW version i was previously using, now I switched to Hongkong (TGY) version G9500ZHS6DUD1
While choosing the correct FW for your phone, use below links -
https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G9500 - it shows SW version also
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-s8/firmware/#SM-G9500 - it doesn't show SW version.
I prefer to use samfw because its faster then sammobile.
If you choose different SW version then Odin will stuck or fail the process.
Software required to flash Samsung Mobile - Odin (I used Odin3 V3.13)
No need to unlock bootloader or OEM unlocking.
Hi
do I need to be on same firmware version, or I can update to higher version?
also in odin, do i put all files (ap, bl, cp, csc)?
I have tried to reset it via odin with its latest official rom along with all its BL, AP, CP, CSC. but nothing is working.
I bought it as a salvage device it had FRP on so i had to unlock it and i think it is a russian phone since it had russian CSC baseband.
Do i have to replace the logic board to solve this? can a IMEI be blocked and turned into 0? Or is there data somewhere that isnt being reset from the odin flash which i have to manually clean?

I cannot find the original firmware anywhere. When I connect Smart Switch it says failed to connect to the device.
Any help please I just want to reset the phone to factory default.
Check Windows Event Viewer for error messages. Try another port/cable.
Roll back or update the driver.
Access the phone through Disk Management and see if it will connect there, it should.

I should add, the device is stuck in "An error has occurred while updating the device software" and I also have the message "debore : on_fail_block_custom_bin_oem"

No, if I use the side buttons it just restarts back to this screen ;/
Hold power volume down until screen goes black while device is connected to computer if you are stuck on a certain screen. If device boots back to Emergency screen it's OK you can still flash from that screen. Just keep device connected to computer, hold power volume down until screen goes black. Then quickly hold volume up and down at same time. Again if it boots to Emergence screen, device should still be recognized by modified Odin. Flash stock firmware

I think I'm ****ed,
Model: SM-S908B
Region: EUB
Model name: SM-S908B / Galaxy S22 Ultra
Model full name: SM-S908BZWDEUB
When I search SamFW I cannot find an EUB version, I don't know what to do
Usually the firmware is the same it just provisions to your Sim. I know with United States Snapdragon I can flash any carrier firmware as long as the build number is in line with my carrier.
It appears they all have same build number AVH9
Wait hold off on that
I'm checking with Mohammad...hold tight
What was the actual build number you were on and bootloader? If your bootloader updated to revision 2 you can't flash back to revision 1
Once you find out what build number you have you should be able to flash

S908BXXU2AVH9
Then you can use any of them from link I sent from Samfw.
As long as it's XXU2AVH9 should be fine. The firmware will provision to you sim
If it fails, don't factory reset just get back to download mode and flash again. Sometimes a second flash of firmware is common
I have an UK Exynos S22+ And every ota update I try on this phone less than 900mb fails with ODIN MODE (SVB Fail)! Or just fails at 25%
I have tried to reflash clean and from the Odin mode screen to recover it multiple times and to make the error stop but it hasn't worked and every OTA update I attempt still fails.
After reaching 49% it goes back to 25% and fails after which it acts like it's rebooting and then shows the odin mode screen. Or it goes back to the old firmware after failing at 25% outright. It’s getting tiring now.
I also get random reboots on this phone not sure why but every so often the phone just crashes and then restarts.
Anyone have an idea of what I could do? I think giving it to samsung is the only way to get it fixed but what do I tell them about me flashing the phone through odin to recover it?
Yup, take it to Samsung to fix it. It shouldn't be crashing like that

Will they still take it under warranty if I tell them I recovered the phone by flashing through odin? Because the phone was effectively bricked otherwise.
I think they will. Get in contact with them, saying what is not working, and they will guide you through the process. No need to mention what you did before

And load Ap to Ap , BL to BL etc etc...and flash it again !!!

I am flashing the whole 7gb firmware through odin. The problem I have is with updates via wifi. Those updates keep failing for me which forces me to flash the whole firmware every time to unbrick the phone.

I will have to try that thank you
Hi, By some miracle, I bought a note 20 ultra 5g of the Korean version, although it was indicated that it was on exynos, but i found snapdragon. In principle, I do not regret the purchase, but it would be better if Samsung Pay would be unlocked. I tried to change the csc to some other values (SER, WWD, KOO) via the samfw tool (not samkey because it's not supported). I got an error about failed exploit. Maybe it's because I have one ui 5.
So my question is: is it possible to unlock spay for my region?
I just bought mine awhile ago, from my experienced, you have to downgrade sm-n986n to android 10 first before you could change the CSC to KOO.

I have tried to flash other regions, yet without success. After googling around, I stumbled upon various informations that solved the mysterious of the Note series. Samsung has designed differently for both Korea and U.S device. So, there is no luck in flashing different regions. An important note, your device might become paperweight if you're forcefully flash different regions Rom.
Maybe, there're some legends out there who could make it happen someday.
