Question Does anyon try to install android auto on the tab? - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE

I just simply want to connect audio to my car, but my car only takes carplay/android auto for audio input if wired, and there's no aux port. I want to use the car stereo system to watch Netflix, and Bluetooth will cause lags between video and audio.
I rooted my S7 FE, update it to android 13, downloaded the android auto app, and systemize it. But when I connect my tab to the car, AA shows the window with a button "connect". After I press "connect" nothing happens, and my car shows "Please check your phone". Does anyone have idea how to solve this? Thanks. Didn't expect it would be so hard to just connect my tab to my car...

[Q] Bluetooth Question

So I am running Vegan 5.1(Which I love), and I just got a new Bluetooth headset which I tried to connect to my tablet so i can play music to my headset during class, however to connect you need to set up with a "0000" pin, which my tablet never asks for. It just says "paired, not connected" and will never connect cause it cant without sending the security pin, is there a way to enable this in vegan 5.1?
Well it depends on the bluetooth you bought because some don't need the pairing code if your in pairing mode hopefully it is A2DP compatible because that's the only way to get music to the headset
My motorola s9 headset said paired but not connected then I long pressed it and I got some other options including connect. The next time it paired automatically but my tab is crashing (and it did) so the very next time after that I had to actually type the pair key 0000 after the long press.
I need to wipe and reinstall everything but I am just waiting till it is totally unusable.

I've done long press and i only have 3 options: Connect, Unpair, Options. Options just has Connect and use device for audio options, but neither let teh device connect nor give the option to enter the pin. Any ideas?
I am running vegan mod, so when you click connect it doesn't? That seems odd... removed dumb question.
I realize this thread is a couple of weeks old but I am having a similar problem and wondered if you ever figured it out.
I am able to connect to my headset and use it to listen. However I have a Creative D100 bluetooth speaker that won't work. It will connect but as soon as I close settings and then start playing music or videos it drops the connection.

or you can use supermono pro
it sends any sound through bluetooth.
i use it for my music and pandora on my phone.
unfortunely my headset wont connect either. what i did to get it to connect is this:
make discoverable
unpair
long press on device and press connect and pair
i can get the pin this way but mine still wont connect. just paired ;(
It is an A2DP speaker. Works great with my Iphone but would love to be able to use it with my gtab for watching Netflix and Hulu through Playon.
It connects fine the connection indicator on the speaker even comes on but as soon as I try to play any type of media the connection drops.
Figured it out. It works fine if I am connected via wifi. If I'm tethered to my phones ad hoc network The bluetooth speaker drops the connection. Guess bluetooth doesn't like ad hoc networks

[Q] Connecting Galaxy Tab(SCH-I800) to Elantra Stereo via Bluetooth

First time poster, desperate for a solution.
The Equipment:
Galaxy Tab(SCH-I800) through Verizon
2012 Hyundai Elantra
G'zOne Ravine
The Vision:
Mounting my tablet to my dash, streaming audio to my car stereo via bluetooth.
The Situation:
I have paired my phone and tablet to my car. Tab recognizes the car, car recognizes the tab, everything is peachy. When scrolling through my audio source options (FM1, FM2, AM1, AUX, Phone) I can select Phone, which is connected to my Ravine. In this mode, every possible sound is streamed through my car stereo (even beeps while texting).
I have an option to make my tab the Priority in Bluetooth. When this happens, the audio source option skips from AUX to FM1, eliminating Phone. I also get a message in my car that says connection failed.
If I try to us Share Via Bluetooth on my tab, using Music Player, Youtube, or Netflix, I get an error that says file not sent (Understandable because it is not connected to anything)
What I've Tried:
-Checked Hyundai Forums: They blamed the tab and directed me to XDA.
-Checked Galaxy Tab/Android Forums: They blamed Verizon who apparently cripple functionality of their products (Bluetooth)
-I have read through your wiki, searched QA and Galaxy Tab threads.
-Watched numerous youtube videos on Bluetooth, Connecting Tabs to Audio, and Connecting Galaxy Tab to anything bluetooth.
Before you ask...
***These are all questions I have been asked on other forums***
-The volume is up on my tab.
-The car is on.
-The tab is in discoverable mode.
-I have deleted my phone and tried without the phone in my car.
-I have downloaded BlueAudio App
-Yes the auxillary cable works, but it is not optimal.
Looking forward to you help and suggestions! I hope I met all your standards based on your hilarious and informative noob video

"Media audio" not automatically turned on when connected to car

Hi,
my Mate 9 connects fine with my car, "contact sharing" works as well as " message access" and "phone audio"- so basically the phone functions are working as they should.
However I do have problems with my "media audio". This doesn't get activated in most of the times (like 90%). Which means I have to go into the Bluetooth settings, click on my connected car and switch the "media audio" on in order to listen to my cell phone audio player.
At first I thought it was my car, but it works perfectly with my other two Samsungs (S6 and S5) - media audio is getting activated automatically and music is playing. So it has to do with my Mate 9.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do here? At this (frustrating) point I'm even willing to use a third party app or widget which allows me to quickly activate media audio without going through all the Bluetooth setting menus.
Help?
I haven't got a solution but I am having the same issue

Having the same problem with not just my car but also my Creative Soundblaster Roar. Everytime I try to play music from my phone when I am in the car, it plays from the phone instead, but the song title does show in the car display screen. I need to restart my phone and reconnect before I can play it through the car sound system
Bluetooth Auto Connect has always been helpful for me and works fine on my p10
Same problem here (p20 pro) except that it is "phone audio" that doesn't turn on automatically. Have to turn it on manually each time. Very irritating.
I've got the same problem, has anyone found a fix yet?

Stop a popup that appears Every. Single. Time. I plug into my car stereo via USB?

I have searched far and wide on the internet for a solution to this problem and no dice.
I have a 2015 Moto X Pure Experience running Android 6.0. It supports USB audio fully.
When I plug in via USB to my Kenwood car stereo it spams a message in a white box in my face that says "This device is not supported please click [VIEW] to download the Kenwood audio app".................if I simply wait 2 seconds audio plays just fine since my phone is compatible. I can even control it with the stereo buttons.
Its extremely annoying to have to click cancel on that little screen every single time.
Is there any way to stop a text box popping up from a USB device?
Thanks.

Gear S3 phone audio and car bluetooth possible fix

I am exploring some solutions for car and Gear S3 bluetooth connection (problem is when phone is connected to Gear, car bluetooth wont connect, solution is disable Gear BT and let car pick the connection).
It would be nice if any of you can test this and let me know if it works, mine works but it's not perfect not sure why, maybe some of you can help me figure it out.
I use Tasker and BlueTask plugin for this purpose:
Open tasker and click the "TASKS" tab
Click the + at the bottom right and give the task a name such as "Connect Car Audio"
Click the + at the bottom right and select Plugin - BlueTask then BT Connection
Click the Pencil icon at the right of configuration and select Actions to Connect and choose your car bluetooth address.
Go back
Now create a new task for when you get out of the car:
Click the + at the bottom right and give the task a name such as "Disconnect Car Audio"
Click the + at the bottom right and select Net then Bluetooth. Then set it to off.
Click the + at the bottom right and select Task then Wait. I use 5 seconds.
Click the + at the bottom right and select Net then Bluetooth. This time set it to on.
Go back
Now to create the profile (or the trigger that will run the tasks):
Click the profiles tab
Click the + at the bottom right and select state
Select Net and the BT Near
Click the magnifying glass on the right of Name and select your car bluetooth system. If you prefer you can select the address rather than name.
Select the option "Standard devices"
Click the < at the top left next to the tasker icon.
You will now see a list of tasks to choose. Choose the connect car audio task (or whatever you named it).
Then tap and hold on the task and choose exit task and choose "Disconnect Car Audio"
You should have something like this at the end: http://imgur.com/a/zCm5W
Let me know if it works.
Hope it's useful.
My solution - I disabled the "phone" BT profile for the Gear S3 in order to enable the car to connect to the phone profile of my Android device properly. Works flawless now. Of course, I can't take calls on my watch, but really, who cares?
I don't need to disable anything.
I can answer from my watch or from my Kenwood DDX9717BTS.
I have a OnePlus 3T, and a Mazda 3 with Mazda Connect entertainment system.
I this solution didn't work for me unfortunately..
Just in case anyone was curious I upgraded my Nexus 5x to the Galaxy S8 Active and my bluetooth problems were resolved. My Gear S3 now plays nicely with my car's BT audio.

I have tried something similar to this. My modification was using "Bluetooth Auto Connect" with Tasker. I set mine to disconnect from the Gear S3 when the car bluetooth is near and connect to the car. Works perfectly for a short period of time, but after a few minutes the watch reconnects and my car bluetooth becomes useless. It appears for me that my phone (Samsung S8) will connect to both the car and watch at the same time. My problem is that while both are connected, the audio constantly cuts out if I try to talk on the car.
During the time that my watch is disconnected, the car bluetooth connection works perfect.
I need to find a way to force the Gear S3 to disconnect from my phone and stay disconnected until the car is turned off. Hoping someone on here that is more familiar with Tasker might have some ideas.
Well mine works great. The phone connects to the car and my S3 just works also. It was cool! Yes.. BOTH were working while the phone was connected. A phone is Note 8

Have tried the setting in tasker, but found it kept disconnecting every 20 mins then reconnecting on a VW touran RNS 315 system. Have found this solution and now stays permanently connected. Give it a try.

Gear S3 has no connection problems and car auto bluetooth connect also whitout issue, but the "audio call" protocol remains connected on Gear, and cannot be enabled on car auto.
i don't want to totally disconnect gear bluetooth only releasing the audio call protocol if a car audio is connected (actually this works only with samsung phones, with other android is necessary to remove the flag from audio call on bluetooth connections proprieties)
