Looking for a working method on how to use Google pay on rooted mi note 10 xiaomi eu 10.0.5
Update: Found a working method!
Here it is:
Yeah it works for Google pay.
Man I flashed xiaomi.eu with orangefox recovery and just can't boot. With the CN recovery too! Can't boot.
Only a fastboot rom flashed work on my phone (tried global 11.0.5, EEA 11.0.10 and CN 11.0.3. All work when flashed with fastboot) root and edxposed work with CN twrp or orangefox recovery.
My phone is a global one. It was delivered with stock EEA version 11.0.10. Any idea ?
What recovery do you used ? You have a Mi note 10 or cc9 pro ?
I have successfully unlocked my bootloader with the Xiaomi Unlock tool. I am new here and I want to know how I can root my Poco X3 Pro (I have 8GB 256GB Global Variant)? Can someone share the working TWRP and Magisk? I just want to root my phone if someone has any working version of Magisk to flash from Fastboot mode it will be enough.
You don't need flash TWRP to install magisk. You have to download the firmware you are using and copy the boot.img to the internal storage. Then install the latest version of the magisk app and select "patch boot.img" as the installation method. The generated file must be flashed by fastboot ("fastboot flash boot boot.img"). Congrats! You're root.

I just made an account to remind: This is the Xiaomi.eu rom based on the chinese version
It is not the stock rom officially for the EU, the name of that would be "RJUEUXM"
I believe this is important, in case one wants to lock the bootloader again. From what I have read, unlocking a bootloader of a global/EU based Phone and downloading a chinese based rom and locking the bootloader will brick the phone. At least that's what I've read

Upload and send me boot.img by pm, I'm going to try patch it to know if it is a problem with your magisk or the file.
it seems that Magisk 22.1 was the problem, uninstalled, and installed v22.0. This version was able to do its job.

I can do it with 22.1, I think something strange happened with your phone.
Do we have to patch vbmeta also??
Has anybody had any luck flashing the EU 12.0.5.0 (RJUEUXM)? My bootloader is unlocked and I put my device in fastboot mode, extracted all the files in archived in the rom into my adb folder (which contains the adb repositories) and double-clicked "flash_all.bat" and let the process complete. However, my device does a constant boot loop of the POC splash screen. I thought what I did would be sufficient, or would I need to use the Mi Flash tool to proceed w/ this process instead?
i m waiting for the 6/128 variant. do i need a different firmware from the aforementioned one?

Hi,
My poco x3 pro v12.0.4.0 Global was rooted because I was able to download the fastboot version of the v12.0.4.0 Global so I extracted the boot.img from fastboot rom and got root with the magisk patched boot.img method but now i have updated my phone to V12.0.6.0.RJUMIXM Global and root is gone and there is no fastboot version of this rom is available. so how i can root my poco x3 pro V12.0.6.0.RJUMIXM global?
The boot image should also be inside the recovery ROM.
If it's not, here's a nice list of methods on how to extract your current boot.img for patching in Magisk: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/extracting-stock-boot-recovery-and-persist-images.4058447/
When trying out the "dd" method in recovery, keep in mind that current recoveries cannot decrypt data yet, so you'll have to mount the SD card first (in your recovery's "Mount" menu), then in the dd command change the "of" parameter from "/sdcard" (which, deceptively, points to your internal storage) to "/external_sd".

Yeah, but I did it with the recovery version of this rom.
I am still running MIUI 12.5.5 Europe, RJUEEUXM, my question is about the wait period to unlock bootloader.
There is a theory and a how to that implies replicating, no, creating a second MIUI Xiaomi account in the same machine, then, by a relatively simple process, by changing between the two, get to open the bootloader as usual.
I used to be a Samsung guy, where everything is simple, Sony, rooted some, Chinese minor brands, OnePlus5.
So the question is a dual one.
First, xiaomi cloud has only 5Gb, nobody expects to sabe more than the fundamental partitions and use sdcard to install Twrp and the next steps. Is it possible to unlock it in a successive, uninterrupted process?
Second, about OnePlus5, I pushed the botton install OTA by mistake, with a magisk 22. 1, XXX Rom, cloudflare and minor tweaks, perfectly running, phone, and, by hook or by crook, got the phone with oxigenOS, functioning, but in between, like a limbo, by using Android Tools Linux it identifies the phone, but Fastboot mode isn't available, I've tried to get a similar problem from someone that had solved it, but could not. So I cannot nor close the bootloader nor install a custom recovery...
It reboots, and recovery and Fastboot mode are red.
You change and it skips. End.
As a suggestion, should I get a good phone to install a AOSP or another top ROM, like Samsung, I've never came close to light brick with the brand, in the way things evolved, Huawey P30 light or any, no codes by the Brand, I don't feel this phone rooting, but actually, MIUI and optimization conflicts with micro G, I had a redmi note 2and life at Xiaomi was better.
Well this a statement, sorry.
Should I get root and Magisk Hide, should it pass the tests? Enough to use banking apps, insurance and other safeguards?
Obviously this is not a reply, rooting is described in several how too...
Hi,
I still have not been able to get the update to 13.0.8.0 through the internal updater.
- the bootloader is unlocked
- the device is rooted with Magisk 25.1.
- Afwall+ allows the updater access via WIFI
- VPN is not active for the Updater app
- dev settings are not to install an update automatically
When checking manually there's only the toast that no updates are available.
Have some of you also not been provided with the OTA, or can someone give me advice on how to get the OTA?
Thanks in advance and best regards
IG
Hi,
you can find download links here:
POCO X4 Pro 5G ROM Download: latest update MIUI 13, Android 12
Download POCO X4 Pro 5G veux firmware & flash file from official website. Latest MIUI 13 and Android 12 update for 2201116PG (Global)

Choose ota version if you are on 13.0.6.0. (These are links to official mi websites just easier to navigate.)
Once downloaded, open updater, press miui logo 7 times, choose select update package from the three dot menu and select the file you downloaded. After the install is complete, you can reboot and you're done.
Hope this helps, worked for me without root or bl unlocked.

Thanks a lot!
I'll try this as soon as they have a link to the Fastboot image, to be able to patch the boot.img. Without root the phone would be useless to me.
Sorry for the late reply. Seems like they forgot to add this link, you can download fastboot rom from here:

You could also just adb sideload magisk.apk if you have custom recovery, or use the magisk app to install root when the updater asks you to reboot.
i have experience about flashing , i flashed roms before
Read through this thread.
Root OnePlus 9
This is for Europe (11.2.2.2.LE25DA). If you are on Global, EU version works, but up to you. It appears for last year, unless you are from India, OnePlus doesn't care. It might be a while before a Full OTA update for Global is released, you'll...

OEM unlock, using Fastboot.
Use the readback function of the MSM tool to get a copy of the boot.img file from the active slot.
Patch that with Magisk 25.2 (26.1 didn't work for me).
Fastboot to the patched boot.img file
Install Magisk directly.
Update Magisk to the latest version.
