Question No more Watch 4 updates? - Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

Last one I had was in February.
Guess no more offical updates?

I'm wondering if it's because watch 6 should be coming out soon. I'm sure there may be more updates, has there been anything official from Samsung about updates and how watch 4 is supported?
Okay, found an answer:
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series is now getting a minor performance update
Find out about all the latest and older Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic updates detailed in one place.
www.androidauthority.com
TL;DR:
The Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic launched with Wear OS 3 and Samsung’s One UI Watch skin on top. Samsung confirmed that the series would receive up to four years of software support, suggesting that support for both devices would be extended through 2026.
Current stable version: Wear OS 3.5

My Watch 5 Pro is still on 2/28/2023 update, so no need just yet to assume Watch 4 is no longer supported.

They are not finished with new Watchface or new colors... or not enough Bugs...

Good for you - still nothing for me in the UK.
Hopefully this is like the Gear 2 (GOOD and BAD)
GOOD = Nothing major visually or apps, just bugs fixes, but battery life improvements to get to 5 days 24/7
BAD = If this is all it is, it's another Samsung software support dead a few months after launch.
Just been released in Australia this morning

Question Alti-Barometer app with Tile on Watch4?

I have had the Watch4 Classic now for almost a week and I have to say I'm liking it very much. Coming from a Galaxy Watch (1). One omission that really bothers me is that they did not include an app like Alti-Barometer on the watch4. I used this app a lot for both the altimeter and barometer. It was very helpful. I have spent a fair amount of time looking for a similar Wear app with no success. I have found similar altimeter app that I'm using but struggling to find a barometer app that has graph and trend. Does anyone have a suggestion?
This is tile for app:

This is the altimeter and Barometer:
calugij did create a Wear app but apparently in order to use the automatic calibration, the app needs to access weather data from an API service. The API service is not free so the development of this app is suspended.

Here's a prior thread with some info:
Alti-Barometer
Guys how can I find an Alti-Barometer application for my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic ? Anyone have any ideas, I would like to install the original one from the samsung store.

Thanks galaxys. Should have done search. Interesting the bit about compass app though really looking for chart for both and trend in Barometer. I find it odd that there is not a good barometer Wear app. Hopeful that will be addressed at some point but not hopeful given how long Wear has been out. It is really a shame calugj's app development was suspended. That app looked perfect.
As you mentioned, it's a shame there is no chart or trend in the Galaxy watch 4 like previous Tizen watches all had....

General GALAXY WATCH 4 UPDATE TRACKER: NEW R8**XXU1DUK1 UPDATE RELEASED

Madhav Biradar | November 11, 2021 | Samsung Smartwatch | 1 Comment
Update (Nov 11): Another firmware is heading to the Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 4 Classic models. The update has been dispatched to tackle known bugs and minor issues. The changelog for the watches read as ‘Application of stabilization code related to terminal operation’, simply means it has here to enhance overall quality. The firmware version R8**XXU1DUK1 is released in South Korea, and it has 93.55MB weight. Nothing has been found new in the firmware, nor any other major changes. It will soon reach other countries in the next few days.

LTE versions will always lag far behind because the code has to be checked against the mobile networks. I imagine that is a lot of additional red tape. We see the same thing with LTE vs. non-LTE tablets.
Got my update today. US non-LTE 46mm Classic. Update was a bit larger at 94.27 MB. Possibly related to Classic vs non-Classic?
I just got this update US BT.
So excited to wait for another 2 months to get another meh update! Yayy!
Update available for me, UK BT version.
Available in Germany. Bt non classic
Today In Portugal
Received DUK1 for the GW4C today in Greece
Today in Czech Rep.
anyone see any improvements of any sort?
(not quite sure the purpose of telling us i got mine today...)
Also here in NL (with German version of GW4 Classic)
The plot thickens:
The mystery update.

That's good, hopefully more will be getting it soon... Cheers
I went into Wear and checked for updates and it came right up. That was about an hour and a half ago.
Dumb question. My watch is LTE but I'm only connected via Bluetooth for now. This is not for my phone, correct?

One small enhancement that I noticed is that you don't have to navigate to the last page in order to "Close All" running apps. There is a small "Close All" bubble on the initial page.
Rec'd in Australia
Got it in eastern US.
I received it yesterday for my watch 4 classic
Mine didn't notify me until today. Just told it to install. Didn't seem to break anything (but haven't used it yet). It did the typical restart into the loading firmware screen (gears), rebooted, startup stuff/etc. After that, the "Galaxy Wearable" app on the phone asked for an update. So I approved that. Everything still seemed normal.
And then, when I woke the watch up again to play with it, it popped up "Updating Watch" and "copying update". A second update??? Waited for the download. Then it asked about updating now or overnight, I told it go ahead, and it went through the whole thing again??? Reboot, gears, progress indicator, reboot, startup. I have never seen that behavior before.
Maybe your update fail...
Check if you are really on new "numbers"...

It really must have been two.... looks like I am on an even newer version than what is listed here. Now on R890XXU1GVK7

Pretty useless if you do not own one of these flagship models I'd say...
This update just popped up on mine today and I applied it (it zapped 5% of my fully-charged watch that was still on the charger the whole time!) Then the Wearable app wanted updating on the phone, so I did that as well. Seemed to work OK so far.

Yep. Fewer and fewer people care about "flagship" models. I bought an A52 5G and ended up with a very fast phone, SD card, several capable cameras, real headset jack, OLED screen, and in-screen fingerprint sensor for under $400 (a little more than a year ago). Or I could have spent, what, DOUBLE for a "flagship" with a little better CPU, case, and camera, while losing the headset jack I use all the time? No thanks.
I own the same smartphone A52s and exactly for the same reason.
Did you find a way to use the Camera Control (samsung official app) on our A52s?
I have updated the watch and now the back button doesn't work...
Am I the only one with this issue?
EDIT: ok, after a watch reset and restore it works again...
Finally rolling out for the my R890 in Denmark

I didn't and it sucks. I have to use third-party one (only camera one actually works for me), which lacks in picture quality.
