Question Alti-Barometer app with Tile on Watch4? - Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

I have had the Watch4 Classic now for almost a week and I have to say I'm liking it very much. Coming from a Galaxy Watch (1). One omission that really bothers me is that they did not include an app like Alti-Barometer on the watch4. I used this app a lot for both the altimeter and barometer. It was very helpful. I have spent a fair amount of time looking for a similar Wear app with no success. I have found similar altimeter app that I'm using but struggling to find a barometer app that has graph and trend. Does anyone have a suggestion?
This is tile for app:

This is the altimeter and Barometer:
calugij did create a Wear app but apparently in order to use the automatic calibration, the app needs to access weather data from an API service. The API service is not free so the development of this app is suspended.

Here's a prior thread with some info:
Alti-Barometer
Guys how can I find an Alti-Barometer application for my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic ? Anyone have any ideas, I would like to install the original one from the samsung store.

Thanks galaxys. Should have done search. Interesting the bit about compass app though really looking for chart for both and trend in Barometer. I find it odd that there is not a good barometer Wear app. Hopeful that will be addressed at some point but not hopeful given how long Wear has been out. It is really a shame calugj's app development was suspended. That app looked perfect.

As you mentioned, it's a shame there is no chart or trend in the Galaxy watch 4 like previous Tizen watches all had....

[APP]Eyeprint App Lock Beta

Hey Guys,
Its a great application landing to Galaxy S4
Most people make do with a PIN or pattern lock to secure their Android devices. If you need something a little stronger (or just want to feel like Ethan Hunt) EyeVerify has just released the beta version of an app that uses honest-to-goodness eye scans. Eyeprint takes a photo of your face, then matches the pattern of blood vessels on your eyeballs to a previous photo to access locked apps.

Technically, Eyeprint isn't using the classic retina scan to grant access - that would require a small amount of infrared light to illuminate the membrane at the back of the eye. It uses the same principle of amazingly unique vein patterns, but it picks them up from the corners of your eyes. Users need a front-facing camera of at lest 2 megapixels. To create the baseline, you'll have to follow the instructions while using the rear camera, looking to the far left and right to let the camera pick up the veins on your eyes. After that, a quick scan of your eyes looking left and right from the front-facing cam should do the trick.
EyeVerify hopes to expand its services to other developers on Android and iOS through an SDK. At present, the app can only lock other apps - you can't actually unlock your phone with an eye scan. (There's a quick "lock all" option for the truly paranoid.) Early feedback from the Play Store indicates that it's very efficacious, so hopefully more devices will be enables as the beta program continues. The Eyeprint App Lock Beta is free to try for 30 days.

Thanks to AP for the same.
just tried it yesterday , the concept is cool but too much wakelock in its current state . uninstalled it after few hours of usage since it topped wakelock detector. waiting for future updates, its having some great potential

Hi XDA! You might have seen my previous app, PulseFlash which was made in the process of learning Android app development. This is once again made for the same reason.
This tiny Compass app was made Graphics Designer new to the app development scene, thus it is very clean. I've utilized most of Android's framework, making this app fit right in!
This app doesn't need any permissions from Android. The hardware used is sensors already available.
jfeinstein10 for his amazing SlidingMenu library.
A lot of folks over at Stackoverflow.
@SpaceCaker who is my personal Android Wikipedia, didn't help me in this case, but awesome guy anyway.
The main source code is available at my Github, I did not share the graphics, nor styling files. Feel free to use the code, but please do not recreate my app, or something very similar and then share it publicly.
Please do not mirror - I'd like to track my downloads

Not yet no. I am not capable to pay the Google Developer fee yet.
I'm having a question. You're using TYPE_ORIENTATION for the sensor. Isn't this deprecated since API Level 6?

Yes it is, thanks for pointing out!
But I found that when I use a workaround I end up needing more permissions which I don't want to do. Anyhow thanks for the heads up!
It works well, thanks.
Good job, great and simple all, I read in the details that you're 14, if I were you I'd be beyond proud to do something like this at such a young age

Remote control and *view* your phone camera with Android Wear

Just wrote an Android Wear app to remote control *and view* your cell phone camera live. I have a series of other hacks I plan to do in the near future but here's a start. Open source too so hope people can help contribute and make it better! Welcome feedback, pull requests, suggestions.
On the play store:

Very cool app. Works well. Thanks for this!!

This is brilliant!!! Absolutely brilliant!!!
Well done!
Totally awesome app!
I've made a bunch of updates to Wear Camera Remote since the first release now. I've added basic support for turning the flash on/off and switching between front/rear camera. But I'm doing it differently than all those paid apps (e.g. Pixtocam) in that I want the UI to blend in well with Google's UI. Also small buttons on a smartwatch is awful to use.
More features to come in the future when I get time, stay tuned. Or if someone wants to help extend this vision, it *is* an open source GPL project.

Awsome app !
Can you consider for the next version to be able to disable the screen on the phone ?
It's this for nexus devices only or all phones? It doesn't seem to work on my LG G3.

Not working on my HTC One either. The only app that's given me phone->watch video is LookBehind but it cost like $2. In any event, people are blown away by this James Bond-esque feature

Few questions about S3

Hi,
I'm deciding between the Samsung Gallaxy Gear S3 and Garmin Fenix 5.
I had the Fenix 5 for the weekend, and was quite happy with it. Lot of Sport activity function (more than I needed) good gps tracking (GPS+glonass) watterproof, and very good battery life.
Only problems was the price ($799) and I was missing some smart function like canned replies, notification about calendar appointments, dismiss call with automatic message, and the display was not that good (mainly indoors). Also there are not that many good appls for it.
So Now I'm looking for the SGG S3, but I have some questions and I found nowhere answers for it:
1.) How is the integration with Endomondo?
1.1) Is the endomondo app working offline? (I don't have to carry my phone with me)
1.2) If not, are there some posibilities to sync data s Health -> Endomondo? (automated, not manual)
2.) What is the watch GPS accuracy? I saw somewhere, that there were in 6miles a 1 mile deviation between S3 and GPS tracked by phone.
3.) what about the HR monitor? I saw some cases, that the HeartRate went above 200+ - was it fixed already?
4.) are you happy with the amount of applications for the S3?
That's all for now.
Thank you in advance
Endomondo works great on S3. But Ive found ypu need yo make sure that when you are ready to load that app to the watch, that it's NOT on the phone at that time. After it's on the watch, follow the watch prompts to add to the phone.

The heart rate monitor works well for me. On longer bike rides I ranged probably 120 to 175 bpm.

No problems with Endomondo. The GPS accuracy is good too. I don´t own a compatible HR strap, so I don´t know how that works.
I am more than satisfied with my S3 I use it everyday for sports, work, listening to music, phone calls, messaging and finding my way around (I can recommend Gear Navigation for that!).
Comfy band I got from Amazon

Themes / Apps / Mods Artist Face on Galaxy Watch 4

As requested by some, I made a 2nd version of the artist face that is available on apple watches. Mimic its look on Galaxy watches or any Wear OS equipped device. It now has 5 different faces from which to choose. Each having its corresponding AOD look.
It's still not animated though, each face is predetermined, so you can't yet customize each look to your liking, like the hair color or clothes, etc. And backgrounds are still not available, as I'm still figuring out how to have each face have its own background color while allowing an option for a black background, similar to how some Samsung faces work.
Nevertheless, it completely works like a charm. Let me know what you think about it and what are the things you want for it to have in the future.
So yeah I guess apple fanbois are gonna hate me lol

Have you tried installing it via adb or any other program? There's a bunch of tutorials of installing apps on galaxy watches on youtube.

They're super nice watchfaces, thank you for making them, maybe in the future it would be nice that they keep their colors in the AoD.
How do you make them? I would like to try make some versions myself too.
