Hello, I need some help to bring back to life a bricked MTK phone. Let me try to give you all facts in brief:
- The phone is MyPhone Hammer Energy 2 with MTK 6761 (let's call it Bricked Phone)
- Stock firmware is based on Android 11 - unfortunatelly stock image cannot be obtained from anywhere, manufacturer also refuses to send it. Good news is that i have the exact same phone in working condition, from which hopefully i can copy what's needed (let's call it Working Phone).
- Owner of the Bricked Phone tried to root it - this failed, the phone was showing DM-Verity corruption error and after bypoassing it was boot looping after the logo.
- Without knowing or having the Working Phone i found only an Android 9 stock image - tried to flash it through SP Flash Tool which bricked the phone - buttons do nothing, but when attached to a charger the charing light lits up. PC is also able to identify it.
- After i bricked it i took the Working Phone from a friend. I downloaded the firmware from it using two methods - by SP Flash Tool and WWR tool and also by the MTK Client tool.
- I tried flashing the rom from the Working Phone on the Bricked Phone by SP Flash Tool - i'm able to flash only the Preloader, Recovery and Boot, for all other partitions SP Flash Tool is giving me ERROR: STATUS SEC IMG TYPE MISMATCH. Phone is still dead even after flashing Preloader, Recovery and Boot.
- I tried flashing using the MTK Client tool (using the python mtk w command), flash finishes fine, but i'm still not able to boot the phone.
- I disassembled the phone, disconnected the battery and once again tried to flash using the MTK Client tool - same result, flash completes successfully, but the phone is still a brick.
What am i doing wrong? i followed step by step all guides that i was able to find and still i'm not able to resurrect the phone using the partitions downloaded from the Working Phone.

Applied a rom from here http://www.needrom.com/mobile/umi-cross-c1/ and now my phone boots up in Chinese so have no way of getting into cwm recovery to try out other roms. Is there any way out of this?
All I can come up with is SP flash tools v3 to get me out of this quandry. Something i've not used before (SP Flash tools) and which I've tried tonight without success. Using MTK Droid tools I backed up my original rom ages ago but now am having zero success at getting SP Flash tools to restore this. When I point it at the scatter file it just stalls at 'searching' and nothing happens?
Any ideas would be appreciated
Hi there guys @ xda.
I need help with my mtk6572 phone which i bricked in a noob way.
I need help flashing it with SP Flash Tool which gives an error as described in title.
Here is how i bricked it.
Today i decided that i want to flash a custom recovery on my phone, so i did and it worked.
I experienced a bug on the recovery and decided i wanted to put the stoc recovery back.
I flashed it back and the recovery booted fine, wiped chache and did factory reset.
After i did that my phone got stuck on boot animation.
I then decided that it was a good idea to flash to complete stock rom back to my phone,
but chose the forma all + download option, so that the changes the custom recovery made
were deleted. Well, so i thought...
Right after the format i got an error that said that my firmware is not for my phone and failed.
Now if i try to format or download the stock rom (which i backed up from my device before flashing)
i get the error code in the title.
I tried uninstalling all the mtk drivers from my pc. When i connect my device it is picked up in device manager
as "unknown device", i then updated the drivers with mediatek preloader driver (and tried all the mtk drivers out there)
but the flash tool still gives the same error.
After i press the download button, and connect my phone, the bar at the bottom goes to 100%(red colour) then stays like that for 41 seconds.
Then it gives the error code and fails to flash.
I tried everything, from removing the battery, pressing vol+, vol-, power and all the combos in between, nothing.
If someone could help me unbrick my phone, i would be very greatfull.
P.S I have the stock rom backed up from my device and prepared with mtk droid tools for flash tool.

Hi... I unlocked bootloader for my (Letv Le 1s X507) through adb, and phone got bricked ( Just keeps rebooting itself ). I tried flashing various stock ROMs through SP Flash tool (Download Agent - MTKAllinone.bin) and ROM scatter file, but the progress on SP tool never goes beyond 0%.
Then I started experimenting with SP flash, I tried selecting (Download Agent - DApl.bin) and download only boot, recovery it goes successfully. The issue is with Preloader file when I download it, it gives different errors.
I'm using Win7 - 32 bit. Tried different Vcom drivers, changing port / cable / ROMs / SP versions nothing works. I'm stuck
Thanks for reading this & Please Help.
UPDATE - Issue Resolved.
Here's what I did, Used SP flash to download boot, system, recovery etc everything except Bootloader. Because boot loader was the culprit here which was not getting flashed ( Still don't know what's the issue but I doubt it's Win 7 - 32bit driver issue ). So gave it around 2 hours with SP flash, again the progress was 0% throughout still gave it time. And I think it was actually flashing.
And then I got stock recovery, then flashed stock rom by otg through stock recovery. Still it gave same bootloops, but I got into Fastboot. Now the game starts, ran ADB commands flashed twrp. Already had nandroid, flashed it. Finally flashed RR 5.85 this time it booted up without any issues.
Hello and first of all i'm not sure if this is the correct place to post my question if not sorry i am new here.
