safely change ROM from Italian to UK/GB stock

Hi,
I purchased my S6 and it came from Italy and had some of the Italian mobile network specific apps etc. on it. I would like to revert it to a UK/GB specific ROM - more specifically one for the EE network. I would like to do this primarily so I can make use of the WiFi Calling feature.
My question is - is there a safe way to change (and effectively upgrade) from one ROM to another? If so, can you point me in the right direction of HOWTO's etc. - I want to be sure I backup this ROM so if anything goes wrong I can revert.
Alternatively if someone can point me in the direction of how to modify the system to allow me to enable wifi calling - I tried but was unable to as it is read-only (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/help/ee-wifi-calling-t3082364/page2)
thanks,

Hi. I'm on the same Problem with Salt on a S5. I'm on the Point where i can enable wifi calling but it does not connect.
I think my baseband Version is wrong and have to be changed
I followed this thread to install the Firmware for S5 and i changed the CSC nearby yours:
//forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/development/rom-ane4-kitkat-4-4-2-multi-csc-t2813628
I asked the Salt Support about it. They told me that only Devises who soldet by them can connect to the Salt wifi.
If this is true we need to have a orginal Salt Firmware to pluck the pieces.
Sorry about my very bad english... i'am a Kuhschweizer

Enable Spo2 in shealth

Hi.
I have a S6 rooted device with original G920F rom.
I have read a few months ago in this forum that for enable
SPO2 measurement in S-health app,i should modify a file in my phone and disable location restriction sentence.
But now I've lost that file's location.
Can anybody help me and guide?
I know there are many other ways to (e.g install a costum rom).but modifying a file is more easy.
Thanks.
You need to flash a ROM whose country allows the use of Spo2 like the German ROM below:

[Stock based only] How to enable VoLTE & VoWiFi for India on any region phone.

Why:
You imported the phone to India from another country and now VoLTE doesn't work for you. Maybe you unwittingly messed with your phones "/odm" partition.
This guide will help you get back the VoLTE functionality for INDIAN MOBILE CARRIERS*. Participate in the poll you want similar guide for other countries.
*might work for Bangladesh, Nepal etc.
Before:
Make sure your carrier supports VoLTE or VoWiFi.
Stock or stock based ROMs.
You should have at least TWRP or root.
Where:
Download the UNFLASHABLE files from here.
How:
-=:TWRP METHOD:=-
Extract the downloaded file, "volte_twrp.zip", to the root of your internal or external storage.
Internal Storage: /storage/emulated/0/TWRP (may not be the same for you)
External Storage: /storage/0000-0000/TWRP (may not be the same for you)
Reboot to recovery.
Select "Backup" from TWRP menu.
Hit "Select Storage".
Select the storage you extracted the downloaded file to.
You should see "2019-05-22-05-24-06_treble....". Select it.
You should see a single entry for "/odm" under "Select Partitions to Restore". Select it if it isn't already.
Uncheck "Enable Digest Verification..."
Swipe to restore. Restart to "System".
-=:root METHOD:=-
I haven't tried this. Let me know!
With your favorite file explorer obtain root access for "/odm".
Replace contents of "/odm" with files extracted from the downloaded file, "volte_root.zip".
Restart.
Good tutorial, but wouldn't be easier just to flash with odin the modem and csc for the specific carrier? It works even on Pie with older oreo modem/csc. You don't need root or twrp.
Tested myselsf, first Pie update was for Russia. Flashed it, but I lost wifi call and volte. So i downloaded oreo stock for my country(Romania - Orange) and flashed the modem and csc. Got back wifi call and volte.

This method only works if both the firmwares are for the same model. For examples I cannot flash Indian(SM-A750FN) firmware on a device I obtained from Malaysia(SM-A750GN) because they are different models (FN<->GN). For more information read my other guide.

[Debranding] * Samsung galaxy s21 * android 11 * possible?

Hi
Is there any effective method for debranding Galaxy S21 with android 11?
I have CSC from Play (Polish operator) and I would like to upload XEO. I've tried odin and samkey and despite the "positive" completion of the operation (both applications say so), the Play brand is still on the phone.
thanks
Android's device related settings all are located in system file named build.prop
Example:
ro.product.brand=generic
ro.product.manufacturer=generic
ro.product.device=generic
ro.build.product=generic
If your phone's Android is rooted then you can change these settings according to your needs.
So it is not possible without rooting? Like the good old days... odin?
