Question Lock screen - Google Pixel 7 Pro

I'm not satisfied with the lock screen. I can't add camera and flashlight buttons to it. What options are there to add it? Android 13.

Root, AOSP mods.

I wonder if it's possible to disable wake on charging plug / unplug ?

It does not wake up when you are un sleep mode, don't know if it can help

screen lock issue

Hi guys
I have an maybe simple question but havent find anything satisfying.
The thing is, that I don't like the Lock Screen when turn off my Desire. With the Extended Control and some other apps its simple to disable the lock screen, but from there on all hardware keys (home, back, volume, ...) turn on the device, which is not really what I want.
So my question is, is it generally possible to disable the screen lock and just use the power-button to wake the device.
I currently use the LeeDroid Mod v1.4. The standard behavior is the same like obove with disabled screen lock. I found to disable it I just have to remove /system/usr/keylayout/curcial-oj.kl. Worked great with enabled screen lock.
Modifying the other *.kl files doesn't help.
Hopefully you understand what I mean
and could give me some hints
bye

Any way to turn the screen off on the lock screen?

I prefer not to shimmy up the phone to reach the power button, and have it set up so a double tap on the back key turns the screen off. However, they do not shoe up on the lock screen. So I have to enter the pattern then turn the screen off. Does anyone know a mod or widget you can place on the screen in the lock screen to turn the display off?
Thanks
Viper ROM has that sort of option. I don't use Xposed, but I believe it does as well.

If you're willing to flash a custom kernel, Evolution's kernel has swipe to sleep feature (swipe right to left on the bottom of the screen to turn it off, works on lock screen.)

If you are using the stock LockScreen, double tapping anywhere on the display will turn the screen off. If you are using a replacement LS you can get an Xposed module that turns the screen off with a double tap on the status bar.

Broken Power Button - App/ROM to reduce its usage

Hello all,
My N5 has its power button weared down. These last two days I wasnt able to turn it on because of the classic boot loop.
How can I prevent this?
I currently installed Gravity Screen to reduce power button usage to the minimum. I like how it unlocks my phone (movemente and proximity sensor work fine) but locking it doesnt seem very convenient as it doesnt support shakelock or double tap or gestures.
I'd like some app or ROM that enables me to lock my phone with a shake and unlocks it in the same fashion (or a double tap on the screen like the opo cellphone).
Are there any options?
Thanks

[Feature request] Long press power for torch

I recently noticed that LineageOS has introduces a very nice feature which becomes very handy (I tested it and I love it). I think its the most effective way to use the mobile phone as a torch. Long press power for torch works when the device is off/locked and will turn on/off the LED. So if one is using a flip case you don't even have to flip open the case. As soon as the display is turned on the LED gets switched off to prevent leaving torch on unintendedly. This is currently my number one request.
Secondly I would also like to have pin pad scrambling in omni. From my experience it not only lessens the problem with finger prints left on the display after entering the pin for many times but also makes it much harder for people nearby observing me entering the pin to get my device unlocked.
I noticed that on the latest build there is "double tap to wake" in display-settings and some more screen of gestures along with the proximity check option in some dedicated gestures settings menu. I suggest to move the "double tap to wake" option into the dedicated gestures menu to have all in one place or at least to move the proximity check option to display settings.
+1
Ya Screen-off Power button to Torch feature is much needed..! When very basic stock ROMs like LOS, Pixel experience packs this feature, Omni should include it
Oreo build has it.
OmniGears > Buttons > Power > Long press for flashligh (Toggle flashlight when screen is off)

Is it possible to turn off touch indicators on the lock screen?

I'm trying to find the option to hide the visual indicators for touchscreen presses (those white bubbles that pop up under your finger where you press) while on the lockscreen - because what's the point of a passcode if you're literally showing people where you press lol. I could swear there was an option for it back on my Nexus but I'm not finding it on the Pixel 3. Anyone know where the option is / what it's called / if it's possible at all on Android Pie?
I don't think it's possible, maybe with root. You could use the fingerprint sensor and then people wouldn't see your password..
PIN/pattern is required after reboots or after you enter lockdown mode (hold power button and it is under power off/reboot).
