Hello all,
There are Tizen Watches that pair with an iPhone
There are Wear OS Watches (other Brands) that pair with an iPhone
The Galaxy Watch 4 (and 5) is still not supporting pairing with an iPhone. Simple BT pairing, although stays connected for a bit will of course not push any notifications or have any app support, as designed.
Was wondering if there is a workaround discovered by some of the brilliant people here. Maybe an alternative ROM for the watch? Maybe some app for the iPhone?
Appreciate in advance any support
Cheers.
Sadly not possible :/

Greetings:
I am an air head and usually forget my Samsung Galaxy S2 or my iPad 2 somewhere. So far I am lucky, I usually forget them at work. I wonder if there is any app that make use of the phone and iPad Bluetooth capability such that it will sound or chirp when the phone and the ipad are out of range. Or is there any Bluetooth device that can do the same function and can be paired to a phone or ipad?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
I have searched but not found much. I am looking for a decent or better solution to be able to use my Galaxy S3 as a universal remote control to control my TV, AV receiver and other devices similar to a logitech harmony remote. I know about the harmony link software but it gets a ton of negative reviews and I am leery of paying for the add on device needed to use the app that may be more problematic. Is there any decent solution for this other than risking the harmony link software, or would the only real other option be to upgrade to the Galaxy S4?

You can't do this directly from the S3 because it does not have a IR or RF port. If your equipment will allow something to connect through Wifi or bluetooth then you can. I connect to my Directv receivers through my home network.
OR
You could spend a little more and buy a bluetooth device that will act as a IR emmiter between your phone and the devices. Check out the link below.

The audio does work, but the microphone doesn't.

Why don't you buy a Samsung headset?
I am using airpods with my s76 edge and have made and received calls from them. and yes the mic works on mine. a double tap on either airpod pauses and un pauses the audio. other people have said when they remove one it pauses but that feature on my set doesn't work. I know there is a interface on the iphone where you can turn that feature on or off. I'm going to pair them with my wife's iphone 7 tonight and see if I can turn it on then re pair with my s7 edge to see if that works

any update on this?
Since I don't like the huge Gear S3, I decided to wait a whole year for the Gear S4 to come out. It seems there won't be a Gear S4 so I started to look at other models and saw that the Gear S2 Platinum (that looks really nice) had a big price drop.
The thing is that I want a speaker for the smartwatch to communicate with me (alarms, assistant, etc.) but it's not clear anywhere that it has a speaker. Even the official site does not specifically states it has a speaker.
If you can take calls on it, then most likely it does have a speaker.
Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Found my answer on the Amazon product page where it says "It doesn't have speakers, hence use Level U bluetooth headphones to hear music"
So that's a big negative point for me.
So sammy has said note 10+ wont be working with their VR headsets and they didn't say if they had any plans of making a headset to fit the note 10+.
There are many third party headsets on the market and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a headset on the market that will fit a note 10+ ?
Might be to early to ask but maybe someone has already been looking based on the measurement of the phone.
Anyways if someone in the future gets a headset that works with note 10+ then please share it with the rest of us.
Size-wise, you should be able to cram it into the Gear VR. It's the same size as the Note9.

I believe the only headset that fits with the note 9 is the 235.
I am in the process of ordering that one for my note 9 as I am currently using a personally modified vr headset for the note 7 lol.
I had to cut so much plastic off and grindied the grapping hooks so now it just a matter of time before it breaks.
I'll give it a try when I get both phone and headset.
But just from all the sites that talked about this said none of Sammy's vr would fit the note so I automatically assumed it might be a tad bit to big. I just hope u r right.
Gear VR no more
