Which specific gapps package did you use? If it's bigger than what your system partition has space for, it won't work.
Also, did you wipe the system partition in TWRP before flashing the ROM and Gapps?

i tried first gapps arm-9 64 micro, gave error 64,then tried gapps arm 9 and that caused bootloops.

Install Inware and/or CPU-Z to get the OS architecture.

its a chicken and egg thing as i have no playstore without gaps,i would think the 901f should be a standard chipset etc,so should be known without having to install stuff to find out!

yes it was wiped, would a low battery cause a bootloop?,as it was at 8%.

Gapps FC on 4.4.2

I am using terenceng's [ROM] CM-11.0 | Android 4.4.2 KitKat | Galaxy Tab 7" [Dec 12A/B, 2013] Dec. 12 B ROM (CM11/Android 4.2.2), and I am having problems installing and using Gapps. I have tried every version from the PA Gapps to the official CM Gapps from the wiki. All of them install just fine, however the apps FC, and setting up a Google account ends with it saying there was an error communicating with the servers.
Any help getting Gapps to work? I would like at least the Play Store so I could manually install the others.
Thanks!

Are you running ART? If yes, have you resized your cache partition?
The PAGapps package in its native form is too large for the SGT7. Have you tried BaNkS 11-26_GApps_Core_4.4_signed? Never experienced a problem with this one on the latest ROMs from terenceng or storm31.
Will try the BaNkS Gapps

I am not running ART. I will try the Gapps you listed and see if they work.
Edit: They do not work. process com.google.process.gapps stops each time I go to add a Google account.

I suppose you should start over again and make sure this time you factory reset (wipe /cache, /dalvik and /data) and wipe the /system partition too just to be safe before you flash the ROM again. Then install the core Gapps again. I haven't seen dirty flashes work with any of these early 4.4.2 ROMs yet. You can use the latest ROM of course which is now 12-16 and offers the easy conversion to ART without a need to repartition ever. This seems to become the new thing...

I always wipe everything before flashing, especially if I have problems. I will try the newest ROM and let you know how it works out.

It works but.
You have to dirty flash. I did dirty flash but some apps fc.
looks like all of the gapps uploaded are incorrectly built as you can't flash them and complete setup.

I have exactly the same problem with 20170909 gapps.
pico 20170906 from here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745425885120760217 is working. Setup is starting. But after that i have problems with playstore. I have to clear cache and delete data from all google services to get playstore running. After reboot i have to do the same things again.

What gapps package are you using? Can I get a link?
If you're downloading from the opengapps site, are you selecting "ARM" in the options? Or are you selecting ARM64?
That error means that the gapps package was made for a device with different hardware/CPU architecture.
You should be using gapps for ARM(non-ARM64) devices.

Galaxy tab 2 very slow on linageos13 but no cpu usage

Hi guys i recently flashed my galaxy tab 2 from android 4.0.2 to android 6.0 under lineageos13 it work well but chrome and default brother is very slow page take age to display and video work bad like on youtube website.
I have installed os monitor to spy cpu and memory but cpu usage is low ! never above 20% mem usage is only 230mo of cache and 100 mo free on 1 gb so why the tab is so slow ????
can you help me to find the issue ???
@drepou38
Which S2?
Loads of different ones.
Was Android 6 latest stock?
Which TWRP?
Don't use chrome or built-in browser but Brave and Vivaldi.

Des tas de différents.
Android 6 était-il le dernier stock?
Quel TWRP ?
N'utilisez pas Chrome ou le navigateur intégré, mais Brave et Vivaldi.

the exact s2 model is GT-P5110 flashed with twrp espresso-common_TWRP_3.3.0-2.tar ( tab was a litle unstable after twrp setup and original FW 4 )
firmware is now 13.0-20180130-2022-UNOFFICIAL-espressowifi kernel 3.0.101-g2450ea4 android 6.0.1 I read that Android version after 6 is getting slower and slower on this tab did you recommend a better rom ?
is used this process : https://www.phonandroid.com/forum/threads/6-0-x-lineageos-13-p5100-p5110.167046/
but not setup gapp because i get an error "memory is full"
I had to update it because on the stock version of Android 4, no website was working, this "certificate error" is due to the implementation of SSL. this tab has no "official" rom after android 4

Unstability shouldn't result from flashing TWRP as it's not needed for running the OS.

As I neither own nor know this device I don't know how much memory it should have but I strongly doubt it has that few.
As I don't understand that much french from phonandroid may I ask you if you installed ROM after not only wiping in TWRP but doing "format Data" as well?
which Gapps btw did you try?
I always use the minimum possible like Opengapps "pico" or bitgapps "core"

You forget to wipe system!
And don't use gapps on prehistoric tab it will lag as h3ll (read unusable).
Instead use f-droid! And start learning to live without google spyware, adware, data mining, etc.

Do you have gapps? It won't lag if you don't. Or try a different browser. Via or Lightning for example

Unable to install gapps

I recently installed the AICP Rom android 11 on my OnePlus 8 IN2015 and it's been impossible to install Gapps unless it's already included with whichever Rom I flash. Yes I followed the instructions on how to do and yes they were the correct one's for that Rom. I'm including a picture of the error. Any suggestions on how I should go about fixing this issue are welcome. Thanks in advance
I forgot to mention it says insufficient storage no matter what size Gapps I try. Phone storage said 232GB available out of 256GB
Solved the issue. Didn't know I could install NIKGAPPS
