Hi,
I mostly used the Poco in EU with physical sim cards, but now I need a phone that can have esim card. I look at the settings and there is no esim option, so my question is: Is there an update to get the esim, or an app, or another work around?
Thanks

The Poco X3 has no eSim
Hi, you can instal an eSIM.me SIM card, which makes your phone compatible with e-SIM.

Hello everyone,
Since i got my honor 8 dual sim 64GB, im living with a problem, that i dont know if its a issue or not.
If i just use 1 SIM card at SLOT, i cant make or receive any calls, just internet data. If i put 2 SIM cards, i have to set one to make calls, and the other to internet data. The question is, why cant i just use one sim card, to make calls and internet data?
Regards

You can assign which sim card uses call or data
Go into Dual Sim Manage and select from here buddies..
I never had a problem so far and running 2 Sims and micro SD card sometimes..

Thats what i Said. I can select which sim uses call or data when I put 2 sim cards. But if i use just one i cant make calls or receive. Just work for data.
What i realized is the slot that I set to 3g/4g is not able to make or receive calls.
L10 is not a dual sim device this is a single Sim only US version. European and Chinese version are dual sim..
So once again if this were a L09 /L19 you would need to go into Dual Sim Management as I said before..

It was a AL10, not L10. And its Dual sim stand by.
Like i Said, if i put just one sim card, only data will work.
Still not working. Maybe a hardware problem? I what to debrand to L04 or L14 but need oeminfo. If somebody could just send me the backup from srk tool i appreciate it
Hi, I recently bought S8+ in Scandinavia/EU and looking at the sim tray, there is a spot for 1 sim and 1 SD card. Is there any way to get 2 sim cards working instead of 1 sim 1 SD?
Thank you in advance

Can do it, and I am now the S8 plus is also the normal use of 2 sim + 1SD.
you can try 2 way
1. ref. h t tp:// mobileai.net/2016 /09/29/2sim-micro-sd/
2. ref. ht t ps:// read01.com/7J5ke4.html

You mean that you don't know if you have a dual sim s8+ or a single sim? It must be written in the back as "Duos"...
I know that this (2 sim & micro SD card) happens in all Duos (Dual sim device)
But I don't think that you can do a single sim version to dual sim
To clarify, the question popped up as I saw some people on YouTube surgically detaching the sim and glueing it to their sd cards in order to get the 2nd sim working. But I assume if there is no actual reader to read the 2nd sim, that operation won't be successful. Thing is, I do not know if there is a reader or not on an European version of s8+?
It's quite impossible since the device must have two imei numbers.

Remove the sim chip from the telecommunications company and stick it behind the SD Card. Look at my photo. Then sim + SD card into the sim2 card slot. This sim2 card slot there sim with sd.
Dual sim on G955F?
Even though not marked on box, is it possible?

The answer is a simple no. Those videos show a dual sim s8 being modded so they can use the dual sim AND an sd card instead of OR.

No. Must have 2 IMEI's for that to work. There is no way to make a single sim phone a dual sim one.
Hi all. So I just got a second sim for my Poco F2 Pro and not sure if I can do what I want.
I want my first space to only use 1 sim and my second space the other.
when in the second space the sim card and mobile networks option doesn't even appear in settings, so not sure if its's possible.
I can only seem to activate both sims, not assign one sim to each space.
Thanks for any help offered

That thread is regarding 5g isn't it? I don't mind one sim not having 5g, I just want it so that one sim is only used in one space and the second sim in the other space.
So sim 1 assigned to first space and sim 2 assigned to second space
Oh hang on, so only with weekly EU rom?
That sucks

Hey.
I only found out about this "second physical SIM card reader is disabled" issue after I bought my S21+ here in Australia. Even after swapping the single SIM tray to a dual SIM tray it wouldn't work.. which was then explained over here at GSMarena.
I was getting my hopes up that with a dual SIM card tray and flashing the right ROM, I would be able to use both my physical SIM cards but I seem unable to find the one that would help to achieve this.
Has anyone else come across this and was successful in enabling that second reader?
P.S. I'd prefer to use a European ROM in the end but I'm at the point where if I can't enable via flash, I will return and hope to find a S21+ somewhere else that comes with dual physical enabled ootb.
P.P.S. Currently on G996BXXU3BUKG, XSA

Hi there, have you ever figured out a way to use the second SIM slot? I am facing the same issue with a US S22. I can see the physical SIM card connections under a microscope and bought a dual sim tray but no second SIM shows up under "SIM card manager"

Howdy.
I wasn't able to get the second one working, not with with the dual sim tray and any ROM.
For me, it ended up with a return and getting one from Europe where the dualSIM came ootb and worked right away.
Sorry, no revelations from me.
Best of luck
Thank you for your response. I am sorry it didn't work for you in the end.
It really is a shame, in my opinion, for Samsung to put up those restrictions on the device, especially if it already ships with the hardware in it.
Hi,
Does anyone know if it's possible to use 2 eSIMs at the same time, without having any physical SIM inserted?
Currently I can only get it to use SIM2 for my eSIMs.
Kind regards
From what i am seeing, yes, you can setup 2 eSIMs on the device, but since there are two IMEIs, the SIM tray cannot be used then
No, MEP doesn't appear to be supported.
We can register any number of e-SIMs. However, only one can be active at a time.

In addition, you can use a SIM card together with eSIM and both are active at a time. turned out to work well for me.
You can use:
Phisical sim + esim
Phisical sim + Phisical sim
