Has anyone lost SIM card slot 2 after SW update and now even the settings are even for a 1 slot SIM?
Even when switching SIM cards, only SIM1 is seen in the settings and even in the *#*#4636#*#* menu there is now only 1 slot

Same for me, but it happened randomly not after an update. I am on EEA official from. Don't feel like doing a factory reset to check if it will work again...

When I put sim card in slot 1 it is not recognized and I get network unknown. I cannot make calls/receive calls and there is red plus symbol on notification bar. When I put the same sim card in slot 2 of Moto G every thing is working as expected.
I am using original micro sim card and it is working in other phone as well with out any problems.
I am on kitkat 4.4.4 -

Did u checked your setting?
Yes I have checked all the settings. Actually with dual sim settnigs - Sim1 is disabled and is not enabled even if the Sim 1 is inserted.
Warranty repair perhaps?

Sounds like it could be an issue with the sim slot hardware. If your device is under warranty perhaps a warranty repair or replacement?

I have a Honor 8 AL00, and i wanted to flash a custom rom into the phone.
I encountered the problem where it showed Error 7/E1001 while flashing the rom.

I followed the instruction and it worked, and successfully flashed the rom.
The problem is that after i open the phone i found that no sim card were detected, even though there are one.
I decided to change the custom rom but still it couldn't detect the sim card.
So now i reverted back to L04 internation rom and i am using it.
But i wish using the custom roms, Any solutions? Thanks!
Nope, no solutions, im in same situation. Till developers dont make 3G sim cards work i cant use any of the custom roms.
well its a 4g/lte sim so i dont know if it changes something...
also, i had a pin in the sim card so maybe thats the problem

Can you try switch back to stock and then see the behaviour. Or remove pin there and cone back to custom.

i switched back to stock and it detected the sim card, i remove the pin and its the same thing :/

Is it a 4g sim and in sim 1 slot? If any of this is NO then it may not work on custom ROM may be. Similar issuess were reported for 6X but nit sure if that exist in other models too

it is in sim 1 slot and its a 4g sim, my sim2 slot id used for sd card.

Go for debranding. There is already a pist in guide section or rom section.

Just flashed latest Global mi 10 pro rom
Is is extremely fast and smooth
Battery is amazing
When first boot
One sim detect with no problem but after replacing sim slots to use my main sim
The phone won't detect any sim at all
Even after factory reset no luck to detect any sim
How can i fix this problem?
Tried to search manually for s service but won't work too
Global doesn't support dual sim or are you testing with single sim?

Global not supporting dual sim unfortunately
Was testing with dual sim
The main one was working fine
But after replacing sims not working anymore
Even after factory reset rom can't detect any sim at all i had to go back to chines eu beta rom
But global is way smoother and faster than Chinese roms
Battery way great too

Reboot your phone. Press and hold the Power button and Volume Up button for at least 10 seconds.
Check the SIM card. Turn off your phone and take out the SIM tray. ...
Clean SIM slot. ...
Try another SIM card (if you have one). ...
Turn on the Airplane Mode.

After updating to the latest update, android 11 global for poco f2 both my sim card slots have been turned off.
When i try to turn on sim1 it tells me that only 1 sim card can have 5g enabled and to change my network settings.
Unfortunately none of the slots wont turn on so i cant change the network settings for either sim.
Have tried putting in 1 sim and restarting, in either slot 1 or 2 the sim slot still wont turn on.
Is there any other way to do it other than a factory reset?
I have same problem with you. I cannot turn on sim card 1 or 2. İt is very weird problem. Did u solve the problem ?

Yeap i did it. I had another bugs after the update. But factory reset fixed all of them
This version (stable BETA) in android 11 has multiple bugs. Many prefer to revert to the previous version.

Unfortunately, for me at least, I'm on stock & haven't modded, unlocked bootloader, rooted or flashed anything at all. I have bought OnePlus 8 used. At that time dual sim was working fine. However, the phone was not updated. When i started updating there were 3 updates pending and phone downloaded and installed them one after another.
After update i noticed tha sim 2 is not showing in status bar. In settings sim 2 is showing, however when i tap on it, the menu is all gray out and the enable button cannot be taped/ enabled.
It also shows the sim 2 operator name and sim number but cannot enable it.
When i remove sim tray it also shows no sim icon in status bar with 2 sims icon.
I have tried replacing sim cards, restarting with areoplane mode but no luck.
Please help how can i again start using the sim 2 as it was working fine before update.

Perhaps, after each update, it was necessary to check the operation of both SIMs, or perhaps it became too many changes at once and a conflict appeared somewhere.
If you installed OTA update, try to backup important data first, remove both SIMs, restore the phone to factory settings and insert the SIM cards one at a time (restart after inserting and setting the first SIM).

Nope. Downgraded to OOS 11 for using both sims.
It was a single sim mobile,
its converted to dual sims mobile bro that's y you can't use dual sim on updated version,
On oxygenos 13, dual sim is working?
