After updating to the latest update, android 11 global for poco f2 both my sim card slots have been turned off.
When i try to turn on sim1 it tells me that only 1 sim card can have 5g enabled and to change my network settings.
Unfortunately none of the slots wont turn on so i cant change the network settings for either sim.
Have tried putting in 1 sim and restarting, in either slot 1 or 2 the sim slot still wont turn on.
Is there any other way to do it other than a factory reset?
I have same problem with you. I cannot turn on sim card 1 or 2. İt is very weird problem. Did u solve the problem ?

Yeap i did it. I had another bugs after the update. But factory reset fixed all of them
This version (stable BETA) in android 11 has multiple bugs. Many prefer to revert to the previous version.

Great,! Wish I'd bloody read this thread before I updated. At least I know now, it's not just me. Unfortunately, for me at least, I'm on stock & haven't modded, unlocked bootloader, rooted or flashed anything at all. Does anyone know if Xiaomi's backup utility is any good or shall I not bother before I factory reset?. Cheers.

hi reader. its been almost 1 month since i bought a second-hand Huawei Shotx ath-ul01. when i bought, it was on android 5.1.1, EMUI 3.1. and update was pending for android 6.0 . On first 5 to 6 tries it did not update and ended with error. and when it finally updated successfully it was unable to read both sim cards. and after rollback it even got worst . now when ever i insert a sim card it asks for PUK code and doesn't even accept the real PUK code for my SIM card. i have also tried changing SIM card but the problem is same wit every SIM. Please some one help me through this. i'll be very thank full.
HOPE TO HEAR BACK FROM YOU SOON!
Has the device been rooted ever before?
If you have not any better idea, try to perform a factory reset(wipe data) + wipe cache partition after a full backup. Good luck to you.

now somhow i managed to install ath-ul01 but the problem still exist. now i think i just have to flash modem.img somehow, but i cant do that, my bootloader is unlocked but i cant perform any command related to MODEM. like FASTBOOT ERASE MODEM or FASTBOOT FLASH MODEM MODEM.img these commands wont work.
system related commands work like a charm.
purchasing a korean phone (in my case s10 5G U+) sim unlocked, the sim card was working good, after updating to the latest march update the sim worked for about one hour then a crossed circle appeared on the top. and no sim card can be read.
what does it mean ? what should I do ?
is it locked or a software issue ?

I don't know if you've already tried this but, try backing up the data that you want to save from your device, then boot into to recovery and choose factory reset, when the factory reset finishes, wipe the cache partition while in recovery then reboot the device.
Contact customer support for your mobile carrier and tell them that you lost service after the update was applied, then see if there is anything they can do from within their system to restore your cellular/network connection. If they mention sending you a new SIM, tell them no and that you will try to fix it first and then if it doesn't work you will accept a new SIM from them. Try finding a different solution before you resort to getting a new SIM because the issue might not even be the SIM but it's worth trying to see if they can do anything before you start trying to find software/flashing solutions that you can do yourself.
If you flashed the update yourself, you might have used an update for a different region. If this is what you did, you need to find the update for your model number and for your specific region, country or carrier. Or you can flash just the modem img or bin file that has been extracted from a firmware update that is for your region, country or carrier.
If that doesn't work. Try flashing the firmware version that you had before the update was applied.

thank you for your time and you helping.
I actually tried to factory reset but the device cant let you enter the recovery.
eventually i replades the device. it was some sort of update issue with this specific device.
I have bought OnePlus 8 used. At that time dual sim was working fine. However, the phone was not updated. When i started updating there were 3 updates pending and phone downloaded and installed them one after another.
After update i noticed tha sim 2 is not showing in status bar. In settings sim 2 is showing, however when i tap on it, the menu is all gray out and the enable button cannot be taped/ enabled.
It also shows the sim 2 operator name and sim number but cannot enable it.
When i remove sim tray it also shows no sim icon in status bar with 2 sims icon.
I have tried replacing sim cards, restarting with areoplane mode but no luck.
Please help how can i again start using the sim 2 as it was working fine before update.

Perhaps, after each update, it was necessary to check the operation of both SIMs, or perhaps it became too many changes at once and a conflict appeared somewhere.
If you installed OTA update, try to backup important data first, remove both SIMs, restore the phone to factory settings and insert the SIM cards one at a time (restart after inserting and setting the first SIM).
@shafiqb9 have u solved your problem.

Device: SM-S908E/DS
Region: India
Carrier: Airtel
OS: Android 13 (One UI 5.0 Stable)
I have been facing network issues after installing the latest OneUI 5.0 stable update officially through the Samsung OTA. Immediately after the reboot, the network automatically switched to 2G and hasn't upgraded to 4G LTE/5G since then. During the beta, I had 5G working for 3-4 weeks flawlessly.
Is someone else facing the same issue? I have since done a complete factory reset twice, sideloaded the latest stable update manually via adb. What else can I try? Samsung and Airtel both have asked me to wait 15 days to get this issue resolved.
Try that sim in another phone. Some airtel sims are falling
I have the same kind of issue after UI 5.0 update - Belgium European version.
I 'm randomly missing calls, don't receive sms. Tried sim card in another device no issue. Only way to solve is going in airplane mode and going back to normal mode but it does not solve the issue.
Also did factory reset but it did not solve the issue. Hoping November update to come with fix or new kernel/modem.

Hello Mario,
I managed to solve it by removing my secondary sim card, it seems that it was conflicting with the main one. Since then no more issues but it was 3 months ago and did not test back with two sim cards and i got 4 or 5 updates since then.

Maybe tro to move your sim card from one slot to the other one and test back. Also try with another sim card if possible, or with your current sim card in another phone.

Can i contact samsung for replace or from my service provider where i got it?
Register you device with emei on Samsung site and ask for repair, i think it's always better to pass by Samsung directly. Hope you kept the invoice.

hello everyone. I made the translation from google, sorry if I'm wrong. my phone is oneplus 8t as it says in the title. I've been using it for 3 months, for the last 2 weeks my phone disconnects after creating the sim card connection and this keeps happening. I tried a lot of solutions, sent it to the repairman but the result is still the same. does anyone know a solution? Thank you to everyone who has already helped. I sit at the computer in the evenings and it may be too late for me to reply and test. I'm sorry for that. You can be sure that I will follow and try everything written. I'll get back to you when I try it. If what I wrote can't explain the situation for you, I can upload a video next time.
Hello!
First of all check that sim card is good.
Try swapping it in another sim slot.
It it doesn't help you can change it in your carrier office.
If it's not sim issue, you can reset network settings in android settings.
Or update OOS firmware to the latest one.

I tried everything you said before :/ I tried resetting the phone completely and reinstalling it. I have installed the latest updates but the problem is not solved. It seems to me that there is a problem with the motherboard. Thank you for the help. I hope there will be others who offer different solutions.
