How to mod our Sony Bravia from 32 to 64 bit - General Questions and Answers

Hello everyone
Briefly , I try to understand HOW to mod our Sony BRAVIA 4K VH21 UC TV to go from 32 to 64 bit in order to install the Dolphin emulator.
on Dolphin website the requirements are :
System Requirements
The following are requirements your Android device needs to meet in order to install the application:
Android 5.0 or higher
A 64-bit processor (AArch64/ARMv8 or x86_64)
A version of Android that supports 64-bit applications
A graphics processor that supports OpenGL ES 3.0 or higher.
If your device fails to meet any of these requirements, attempting to install Dolphin will return an error message reading "Application not installed."
Note that some devices are equipped with 64-bit processors but ships with 32-bit builds of Android. Installation will fail on these devices as well. There's no way to fix this, and no manufacturer has updated a 32-bit only device to support 64-bit apps.
our Sony Bravia have theses specs :
-- Android 10
-- 4x ARM Cortex-A73 @ 1800 MHz / 64-bits ARMv8-A (Mode 32-bit)
-- OpenGL ES 3.2 v1
Downloaded DOLPHIN 5.0-17995 and APK installer
the app refuse to install saying the app is incompatible....
I feel im touching the dream at the tips of my fingers
Please tell me its fesable with my specs and how to proceed step by step
I HOPE someone will be able to help me (but you are all invited for sure
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023 guys !

Hi
thanks for your answer.
QUESTION 1 : BEFORE i proceed , did the process is reversible ?
It will not be hard/impossible to re-install app like youtube/netflix ?
QUESTION 2 : where i can find such custom rom ? I have to make it myself ?
QUESTION 3 : Did you have a step-by-step tutorial to do so ?

As you can see here obviously a Custom Recovery - what is prerequiste to install a Custom ROM - isn't available.
But may be you find one doing a related Google search.

I have the basic and the advanced version and no they are not the top of the line tablets but they are the best value for money !
they are quick and responsive unlike any other cheap tablets that are in the market.
I personally also own the Galaxy 8.9 tab and an advent Vega.

I have flashed this version of ICS on my Novo7 Basic and it works. Too bad there's a bunch of Chinese apps and Adobe Flash doesn't work.
I'll take a look at the source code but in case anyone knows:
Does the MIPS release only support the MIPS SoC and not the surrounding external peripheral chips like WiFi?
I am guessing that since MIPS only knows about its chip, this source code won't have any drivers for external chipsets. For that Ainol will have to release its source code for Android which has all the drivers for the external chips.
If anyone knows for sure, let me know.
I just bought one. What can I do to make it better? For me, that would be to make it accept a 64gb phone card for the maximum amount of memory I can have....also perhaps the internal memory can I increase that?....for even more apps and junk...lol
few things you can do to improve your Tablet.
Download the latest ICS ROM from here : http://www.ainovotablet.com/downloads
and then.
1) Root it
2) install Superuser, Install titanium backup.
3) Remove the bloatware using titanium backup.
after all that should be happy

Hello
Will that work on my Tablo 7" (Allwinner A10 with Mali 400)?, which I think is the same as Scroll Excel, and possibly the same as Novo 7 Advanced but not sure.
Below is the cpu info.
cat /proc/cpuinfo
Processor : ARMv7 Processor rev 2 (v7l)
BogoMIPS : 1001.88
Features : swp half thumb fastmult vfp edsp neon vfpv3
CPU implementer : 0x41
CPU architecture: 7
CPU variant : 0x3
CPU part : 0xc08
CPU revision : 2
Hardware : sun4i
Revision : 0000
Serial : 0000000000000000
I already have CWM 5 recovery installed. The CWM recovery key map is
hold menu and power to enter recovery *
volume to cycle options
power to select
back to go back one step
* according to the website, novo 7 is volume up + power

i search alot of post and i still can't Root my novo7 paladin .. can your please teach me?
you can use the Tasselhof-RootScript.rar
Seems to be working just fine if you follow the steps.
http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/23750-root-ainol-novo-7-tasselhof-root-market-script-tools/
Download Link: Mediafire.com - Tasselhof-RootScript.rar
Alternate Link: DropBox.com - Tasselhof-RootScript.rar
This is a straightforward script.
It's sole purpose is to get your device rooted and provide the tools to verify it.
- Cleaned Up some extra unneeded files and added the Android Market App Upgrade from ContemptX! - Thanks!
I have added some options to Disable and Enable services to hopefully help with battery life.
**IMPORTANT PRE-CHECK LIST**
Connect your tablet using the OTG port (normal procedure)
- YOU MUST USE THE INCLUDED USB CABLE
Make sure USB Debugging is ENABLED
- Settings --> Applications --> Development --> USB debugging (Green Checkmark)
Make sure to check Device Manager to ensure that there aren't any devices with a yellow exclamation mark.
- Right Click on My Computer --> Manage Device --> Device Manager
Here is a link to a driver package I created... (not positive it contains the needed one for this device, but it is a good place to start)
- Download Link: Mediafire.com - Android-USB-MultipleDriverPack.rar

ICS kernel source
Does anyone know where I can find the source code for Linux kernel for Novo 7 Basic (MIPS)?
I looked on the Ingenic site but they have Linux for their older SoCs but not the JZ4770 powering the Novo 7. I went on the Ainol website but it's mostly in Chinese. I am interested in the latest kernel source on which ICS runs on top of.
excellent...
I contacted Ingenic engineering and they said their kernel is 'closed-source' for the jz4770 but they have full sources for their older jzxxx chips for download.. Funny how open source can suddenly become closed when convenient. Shame it would have been fun customizing this mips tablet.

I suggest to insist. They can't refuse to give access to the used kernel sources, it's Gpl. Only thing they can leave as closed are proprietary hw drivers.

GHIA Tablet - ONLY AGILE B a.k.a AGILE A7i

So I have this tablet, thanks to my little nephew who loaded it up with tons of games and viruses/ads (he's 8 yrs old) so he asked me to repair it for him. My problem is that I can't seem to find any relevant info on this tablet, not even on the manufacturer's website , which i find truly strange not to find it there and it's not a very well designed site either. Does anyone know of any software for this tablet to restore or upgrade firmware on this equipment? Can it be TWRP'd or CWM'd?? Are there any Custom ROM's for it? I'm kind of assuming most answers will be hard no's due to the Intel Processor in this thing.
According to CPU-Z this are the specs:
Processor: Intel Atom (TM) CPU Z2520 1.20 GHz
Cores: 2 (4 CPU's)
Architecture: x86
CPUID: 6.35.1
Codename: Saltwell
Model: ONLY AGILE B (GHIA-pn)
Manufacturer: GHIA
Board: GB7_GEN_CN
Hardware: redhookbay
Screen; 6.94 inches
Resolution: 600 x 1024 pixels
DPI: 170
RAM: 1024 MB
Internal Storage: 3.85 GB
OS: Android 4.4.2
API: 19
Bootloader: Droidboot Provision OS v.2.0
IFWI version: F9.FD
Product: GHIA-PN
BUILD ID: G02TJET_A442_X04_006_607PRS_ES
Java VM: Davlik 1.6.0
OpenGL ES: 2.0
Kernel Arch.: i686
Kernel Version: 3.10.20 (eng.aily.20150128.132500)
Root: NO
Google Play Svc.: 20.15.16 (000700-309763488)
UPDATE 5/30/2020: I contacted the manufacturer GHIA and they responded quickly indicating this tablet is supposed to match up with the GHIA Agile A7i and even provided me this direct link to download the manual and firmware updates. It contains the IntelAndroidDrvSetup 1.1.5, iSocUSB Driver 1.0.1, and PhoneFlashTool 3.1.8.2 (win32) executables. I couldn't get the 1.1.5 or 3.1.8.2 files to launch, it gave me a "admin user has blocked these programs..." error msg even though I ran them as Admin. So instead, I downloaded updated versions of these programs and they installed fine (IntelAndroidDrvSetup 1.10.0, iSocUSB 1.2.0 & PhoneFlashToolLite 5.8.4.0). I was able to flash the firmware using PhoneFlashToolLite 5.3.2.0 which did give the tablet a better touchscreen response and eliminated the lag i saw originally (process is rather lengthy), but it did remain on kitkat 4.4.2 and no root access. It does offer the option to apply firmware updates locally via the system updates menu (online updates wouldn't connect to network), but I couldn't locate the correct directory in order for the system to recognize them that way.
I'm not familiar at all with the Droidboot Provision OS bootloader, albeit it looks pretty cool and useful. Unfortunately I couldn't find adb/fastboot commands that work with it to unlock the bootloader and be able to flash a custom recovery like TWRP/CWM (perhaps ported?) or get a custom ROM on it either. One major flaw i did noticed though is that not many games from the Google Play Store work at all even though they install but just FC. Surprisingly enough, it did allow you to uninstall any app it comes bundled with, so good for bloatware cleanup. I welcome any feedback anyone may have on this little tablet.

How to reflash Galaxy A02s with 64bit Android

Hello forum guys, I've registered now to see if any enlightened souls could help me.
So straight to the problem...As stated in the title I have a Galaxy A02s and I am having problems with its Android.
I did a lot of research but I'm just getting more doubts, I read things like custom mod, kernel 64, treble info, and so on.
I will specify my device with the Aida64 information for better understanding:
Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 450
Core Architecture: 8x ARM CORTEX-A53 @ 1804MHz
Manufacturing Process: 14nm
Instruction Set: 64-bit ARMv8-A (32-bit Mode)
And Treble Info says:
In the Architecture part: "Your device is ARM32 but uses a 64-bit binder. This usually indicates that the hardware supports 64-bits but the software does not. In this case, a 'binder64' or 'a64' image should be used. "
And in the Image Requested part: "Your device needs an image file called 'system-arm32_binder64-ab.img.xz.'"
I don't know if this Treble has anything to do with leaving Android in 64-bit, but I was researching and researching and that's what I got, however, I have little knowledge about these things and I didn't find any tutorial teaching how to install/update to 64-bit
That's it, I hope you can help me, thank you in advance
What's your real problem?
Any 64-bit SoC flawlessly runs 32-bit Android OS and 32-bit apps

So I just don't want this 32-bit mode, I googled to see if my processor had architecture to run in 64-bit, and apparently yes, so I wanted to put android in 64-bit, but I have no idea of how to do this
thanks again

I bought the phone and it came like this, but how do I do it ? To a 64bits system
I'm also with the same problem, I would need some ROM for the 64-bit system, but I realized that there is none so far, is there any other way to change it to 64-bit without changing the ROM?
Short answer: NO
Short answer: NEVER
I'd like to ask how is the 32bit system with the 64bit system?

Android Update for old Generic Tablet PC

I have an old Tablet PC with an Allwinner A23 Quad-Core, 1GB RAM and 1GB, 5GB more storage, What's the maximum unofficial Android update that I can get?
I attached the CPU-Z screenshots for more info.
Forget it.
Impossible?
I think so. This because computer's system resources are too low where it doesn't matter whether Android should get run via emulator or via dual boot.
This is an android tablet, it don't use emulator or dual boot

This SoC features a Quad-Core Cortex-A7 ARM CPU, and a Mali400 MP2 GPU from ARM. That's good.
The problem in your case is the little available RAM.

Find a Custom Recovery suitable to tablet, if found find a Custom Android 6 ROM suitable to tablet. If both found, flash the Custom Recovery and if successful flash the Custom Android 6 ROM via Custom Recovery.
Con you help me find, I'm a newbie, I want Android 5, 6 or 7, any that you find.
